Image custom coatings

Mike came out examined my old driveway. He made several suggestions on of which was very good and solved a puddle (spot where water tended to stand) problem. He showed several finishes and colors that could be used for the new surface coating. We picked on and agreed on a price. We had to wait about a week for them to get to us. They seemed to be very busy. It took about three days for them to complete the job during which we had to park in a neighbors driveway. (We are blessed to have good neighbors). The finished product was just as had been described. The drain cut for the old puddle area accidently got partially filled with the new concrete toping. After one call Mike came back out, saw the problem, and cleared the saw cut and now the old puddle area is history. We are very satisfied with the finished product.

The removal of old slate and tiles was time consuming but that part of the job was completed well. Concrete had to be ground down and made level. The lanai resurfacing went OK and the random rock design is nice. The coloration did not come out as well as we would have liked (nor did it match the sample we were shown) and the finish work around the edges was sub-par, including clean up of the walls and trim. The resurfacing of the front walk was a disaster as it began with the wrong initial color being put down even though the installer was told it looked wrong while it was being installed. The workers attempted to darken the spaces between the random rocks, but it was too little too late. We have not asked them to come back for a third time to fix or finish as we do not want the stress of dealing with them. The owner Damon seems to know what he is talking about (though he did not seem to listen to our concerns) and we saw him very little and not at all when his workers were on site.
