After contacting Granite Shield, I was told their stain removal person would come to my house to review my situation, and she would give me a quote to repair of stained edges on a sink in our master bathroom if she thought the stain could be removed. The lady who came and looked at the job told me she believed she could remove the stain with one treatment and then reseal the surface after the stain was removed. She said it might not all come out with one treatment, and need a second treatment to remove any residual stain. I asked her how much the job was going to cost, and she quoted me $300. She said she could apply the treatment right then if I accepted the verbal quote. Stupid me, I did not request a written quote and instead told her to proceed. She applied some kind of paste to the stained area, as well as to the other sink and other areas on the countertop that I had not pointed out as being in need of stain removal. I was told to scrape the hardened treatment paste from the countertop and call her to come seal the affected area. The stain had not been fully removed, and when she came, she applied another treatment on the area with instructions for me to remove the hardened pasted again in another week, and when completed, she would come and reseal. The area needing the second treatment was roughly 2" x 10". The initial stained area was approximately 8" x 20", although as I mentioned, she applied the initial treatment to a much larger area. She then told me that the second treatment was going to cost an additional $300 and then lowered to only $100 because of the small area needing second treatment. I objected, stating that I was quoted $300 for the job. We eventually agreed that $300 is all I would be billed, even though she insisted that she had previously told me I would be charged again if a second treatment was necessary. I said that I had not been told that, and if I had known I was going to be charged $600, I could have had the whole countertop replaced with a new one for less than that. After I removed the paste from the final treatment, the repair person came to reseal the countertop, and claimed that I now owed an additional $100 for the resealing of the stain removal area. She said she had quoted me that during our initial visit, which I refuse to believe, as I only committed to the $300 for the entire job. I know it is my fault for not getting a written estimate on the complete job, and that created the he said/she said problem that came about. In the end, I had to pay her $400 for the job, and there is still residual stain around the sink. To say I am not happy with this company is an understatement.

John arrived late due to the fog, but both he and the owner called before the scheduled time to let me know he'd be late. John was very professional, explained the product and how to take care of my counters afterwards, and then set to work. Great customer service and I've already recommended this company to my parents! They did an excellent job. John is very knowledgable and provided excellent feedback. The work was done great and the counter tops look amazing. My only complaint was that he was on a personal phone call talking very loudly throughout most of the work which made me a little uncomfortable. Other than that, I would highly recommend them.

Awesome... Unbelievable customer service. Very professional. In fact, the technician John looked at my kitchen island counter and immediately spotted a defect and suggested waiting to seal it until I contact the builder (it is a new house). John looked and found that a previous repair had been attempted which was very visible from underneath. I bought a new house and having a cracked counter is unacceptable. I am so thankful that John pointed this out to me. He clearly didn't have to go so far above and beyond, particularly since he was recommending not sealing the island. But John put customer satisfaction first and I am very appreciative. For the counters John did seal, the workmanship was excellent. Everything was spotless upon completion. He did a good job explaining the benefits of Granite Shield and what I needed to do going forward. It is a great product and I can't say enough about the service John provided. The countertops looked much better after being sealed. As soon as I resolve the defects with the builder, I will have Granite Shield back to seal the kitchen island. I highly recommend Granite Shield of SW FL.

The surface of the granite is soft and shining: just like glass. We love it. The man worked quickly and carefully. And, it never has to be done again. Great!

The provider was prompt, professional and friendly. He provided us with useful information on taking good care of our counter tops and the products we should use. He also provided a lifetime guarantee for our granite counter tops .

The serviceman was excellent - even though we had LOTS of granite to seal, he stayed late to get it finished as opposed to returning another day. Excellent work - excellent quality.

He was very professional, courteous, and prompt. It took less than an hour for my large kitchen. It was instantly more shiny and felt so smooth that I had to be cautious as things would slide. It looks great and very easy to care for with regular window cleaner. I would recommend them to anyone.

John was very professional he arrived on time. I was using the deal offered but I knew I had more square footage than the deal so after discussing it and coming up with the cost I decided to do the whole kitchen. Very please with the outcome. He also answered all the questions I had about granite. Such as cleaning and heat resistance. He also found a flaw which was good because we are just about out of our warranty coverage. All in all a good experience.

Don showed up a few minutes early . He advised he had sold granite to contractors for over 10 years so he could knowledgably speak on the subject. Additionally, he had done extensive research of the product before applying to be a representative. Each step of the process was explained along with reasons their product was superior to others. The on line warranty registration was lengthy and designed to protect the company from imposters. I'm pleased with the job.
