I had a water leak in my bedroom and subsequently had to rip the carpet out. I had laminate installed by a handyman who had done previous work in my home without a problem. The laminate flooring that he had laid in my bedroom was not properly installed. It creaked when you walked on it, was uneven to the point that one would hurt their foot on it in different places and was separating. This was all about one week after instillation. I contacted Floorcoverings and More on Angies list. James Lazzaro, owner came out and gave me an estimate. He was willing to take on the job when others wouldn't because it was a redo. I hired him and am very happy with the professional job he did. No more creaking, separating or unevenness of the flooring. I can see the vast difference between the two instillations. James was timely, had adequate help to move my furniture, meticulous in his work and did a great job of cleaning up . I would give him my highest recommendation for any of your flooring needs.

The quote was lower than some others we received but we could not get a hold of anyone to call us back or provide us with additional materials needed. We had multiple requirement for choosing a contractor in our situation, and we needed someone who would be responsive when we called or emailed. We did not get that here.

They came out right away. He was there the same day to give me an estimate and was there the next day to install the floor. He was very accomadating. The price was very fair. He was very professional and the floor came out great. I would highly recommend him. We coordinated everything from out of state and he was extremely accomadating to us.

We have 2 adorable naughty dogs that ruined the carpet in the room so we wanted to install laminate flooring to discourage them as well as protect the room and enable us to keep the room clean and odor free. Additionally we wanted to match the laminate wood floor in our great room and hallway. Jim responded promptly to email inquiry. He came to our home, had appropriate samples. He suggested an alternate product that more suited our situation. He was able to install installation within a few days. He came late the day of the estimate, the day of the contract, and the day of installation. He made up for it by working quickly and efficiently. We are extremely happy with this floor so far. Jim made it easy by moving all the furniture and replacing it. We only had to move personal small items and electronics. I am very happy we chose Jim and Floorcoverings and More. Thanks to Angie's List for recommending such a great provider.

They did a very good job. They were very neat and clean. The rug is terrific. They were very cooperative and it was in the price range that I wanted. I will use them again.

At a distance, Jim helped find a tile describing it over the phone or using websites. He offered tiles balancing between price and quality. Without physically viewing the tile, we agreed on a tile and mailed half of the total. Jim has an established business with many years of experience and a promise to do a good job. There were two complications: restoring some of the baseboards and repairing a hole in the bathtub. Since these would have delayed tile installation, Jim made the repairs. In the end, Jim emailed photos of the completed job. When we finally arrived to see the tile, we were very pleased with the job and it really added to the house.

Surprisingly, he showed up on the date and time originally scheduled for the estimate which is unusual for our area. He was more than helpful in answering our questions such as, the time it would take from the order to installation, what type of flooring would be best and the width of the plank and the direction it should go for the size of our room. The material was delayed but he kept us informed and when it arrived he made sure to have it installed in one day rather than the 1 1/2 days he originally quoted. He knew we were having out of town guests and wanted to make sure we had it in and ready to walk on in time for our guests.
