I was happy with his service. I called him Monday about noon and he offered to come out in a couple of hours, but I already had plans. He offered to put me first on Tuesday, which I was happy with. He told me what he charged for a house call, and I was ok with the price. While I was on the phone with him, he asked me some questions about what the problem was, and then asked me to check a couple of things on the fridge. He thought he had an idea of what was wrong (turned out not to be the final problem, tho). The next morning, he called to tell me he was on his way. He ended up being just a little late because he (like many who come into our subdivision) got just a little lost. He apologized for that. He got right to work, explaining exactly what he was doing each step of the way. I was very happy with that. Some repair guys I have dealt with don't seem to think women want to know what isgoing on or what they are doing until it's done. Not me. I wanted to know. He just assumed I wanted to know what he was doing. I really liked that. Before he moved the fridge out to work on it, he checked to see what kind of vinyl flooring I had. He said he wanted to make sure it wasn't the "padded" kind and he was not going to harm the flooring by just scooting it out. I was impressed by that. The only unfortunate thing was that my poor fridge could not be fixed. The good thing is that he was able to figure that out, give me an idea of how bad the leak is and give me a good estimate of how long I have to get another one before it stops cooling all together. His price for house call was the standard amount from my contact with other companies in the area. He was professional and friendly. I felt confident with his appraisal of the situation. I would definitely call him again if/when any of my other appliances has issues.
Description of Work: My refrigerator was not cooling as it should. It had been sitting off for a year and when I returned, it just wasn't working right. Greg came out and went to work figuring out what was wrong. He had all the equipment for checking for a gas (freon) leak, and that's finally what it turned out to be. On my particular fridge, because of where the leak was, it could not be fixed without tearing out the back of the appliance, and the back of the fridge is welded on.
