Description of Work: I worked with Mr.Dominick Zito. From the start, he was patient,professional, and helpful. He took adequate time to educate me about his product, and was extremely responsive to my questions and concerns. The work was performed as agreed to. The installation was professional and neat. My purchase of a solar panel system for my pool heater could not have gone better. I recommend Mr.Zito without any reservations.

Lots of fluff, no on-site visit, internet generated drawings. Needed roofing first. Had a roofer call me, who also told me lots of confusing info, but ultimately never sent a quote. Experience: Sky High cost, unreliable and unreliable recommeded roofers make for a very expensive and unreliable combination. Disappointed! Ridiculous $6 per watt price (panels are about $2 per watt) installed. Look elsewhere!

Dear Sir, You are misinformed about the installed cost of solar energy. You may wish to review the U.S. National Renewable Energy Laboratory's report that indicates installed pricing of $6-$8 per watt. We are right in line with other dealers. http://www.nrel.gov/docs/fy04osti/35297.pdf While solar modules themselves do cost us around $2 per watt, this price does not include design, engineering, permitting, inverter(s), wiring, conduit, switches, junction boxes, circuit breakers, labor, overhead, or profit. It is true that we did not visit the site, primarily because of the homeowner's travel schedule. We did perform an aerial analysis and prepared a 3D presentation of a proposed system. This was supplied to the customer free of charge, as was an estimate for the installation. https://www.sugarsync.com/pf/D6539806_8669786_10807 With regards to the roofer, we are not responsible for your relationship with a third-party roofing company. We are not a roofing company, we are not licensed to do roofing, and we would not be responsible for pricing or performance of your selected roofer in any circumstance. The fact that a third-party roofer did not call you back is not something to hold against our company. Finally, you indicated to our salesperson that you intended to apply for the FPL rebate program, have your system installed, receive the utility rebate, then remove the modules to take the me to Canada. This is highly unethical, and borders on fraud. We would not be a party to this transaction. I would want Angie's List readers to take this into account when reading this person's review. I had a solar panel with a substantial leak, phoned Fafco after recommendation by Pinch A Penny pool supplies and secured an appointment within 48 hours of my call. I was advised that the office could not give me a time frame and that the technician would call me that morning. I did not receive a phone call from the technician, but when I phoned the office late in the morning to inquire about what time the technician would be at my home, the person I talked to was able to speak to the technician and he arrived within 30 minutes. The repair was minimal and took about 5 minutes. He was knowledgeable, professional and conscientious. I gave a C rating on price because they do charge $85.00 for the service call regardless of the extent of the repair. My repair only needed a plug in the panel. However, they are less that the other companies I phoned.

Please note that systems under the manufacturer's standard 12 or 15 year warranty receive FREE service calls (parts and labor) for solar pool heat panel repairs.
