Services have been poor. They sent me a brand new Xfinity box in the mail, which I didn't request that they send me. I looked at my bill and found out they are still charging me for the old box and I called them to inform them that the new box isn't working for me and they sent a tech out to look at the problem. The guy who came out was unable to fix the box and wouldn't take it back and said that I would need to mail it in. After doing this I finally got it back and have had issues with the picture quality still, I only want basic cable and am being charged for all of these services and they are now telling me that I had signed a contract, which I never recall doing. I am a 100% disabled combat veteran and just want my cable television to work the way it should.
Description of Work: I have Comcast Triple Play for phone, cable internet, and television.

Called and reported August 3, again August 5, again on August 7. August 7th was promised service within 24 hours, it is now August 12th. Made my 4th call, was told it would be 48 - 72 hours for someone - not to fix it, but to call me back! How ridiculous!! And they are the cable monopoly that wants to be a sole source provider - check them out in Fortune magazine. If you have a chance to vote, or feed your representative a big NO on that.
Description of Work: broke my main sprinkler line while installing neighbors service

I work at home, high speed internet is extremely important to me. I checked to ensure I would have service from Comcast prior to signing a contract on my home. On a naitonal level, Comcast promised to deliver service to our address on a local level said it could not be done. The national team would reschedule appointments, send a sub-contractor here, then the sub-contractor would tell us not possible. This experience went on for 3 weeks. After insisting on speaking with a supervisors supervisor and given 4 commitments that I would have high speed internet, finally, Comcast confessed they could not deliver on their promise, but would hook me up if I wanted to pay a $7000 installation charge. Very disappointing customer support.
Description of Work: Wasted 3 weeks of my time.

They are so expensive. Their internet connection is also expensive but I am getting a far hing speed. My cable form the outside pole to the house is 15 years old and I was getting failure to my connection. I kept on losing my internet connection. The TV wasn't too bad, it was the internet. The guy who placed the cable worked find.
Description of Work: COMCAST CABLE provides us cable and internet connection.
