Description of Work: Service call to repair AC, was told AC was "fried" and needed new unit. After paying for unit, tried to cancel next AM, was told I couldn't and tried to deliver anyway.

Description of Work: told me I needed a new unit and showed me meter readings that were opposite of true ones. I had a co worker come out who owns his own company and tell me nothing wrong with unit other than a clog drain, unit was up and running perfect in 1//2 hr

Description of Work: yearly check on central air conditioner, while at my home I requested that they check my split air conditioner in my Florida room. The technicians said that it was not working properly and that I needed a new unit. The price of a new split unit would be $5,000.00. I questioned why so expensive and was told that prices had increased from when I previously installed my current unit (this unit originally cost me $2000.00). I hesitated because of the dramatic price increase and told them I would think about it. They also installed a new black light bulb and dedicated surge protector. I later found out that they overcharged me on this. I telephoned the original installer of the split unit in my Florida room and found out that a new unit would cost me $2000.00. This was $3000.00 less than the price quoted by Climate Solutions. I will never use this company again for any heating/air conditioning in my home.

Description of Work: This company continues to solicit duct cleanings and varies services on my hoe phone after being notified in October of 2012 to cease and desist any and all communications to that number. I am not in the market for any services from then now or EVER!!!!! I have reported the company to many levels of state agencies and they continue to call and solicit me unwarranted. I am not interested and do not want you to call me! EVER!!!!! Stop harassing me!

Description of Work: I used Climate Solutions Inc. for buying a brand new air conditioning unit from them. They installed it and the last time they visited us solving some issues that I am facing with regards to the unit.

Description of Work: My a/c stopped working I have a home warranty that cover some cost on repair/replacement. Climate Solutions came out looked at unit said compressor was no good.I paid a service fee of $60.00 for them to come out. to make a very long story short. The original kid that came out call his buddy(I call him the closer) they sat in my drive way for an hour eating Mcdonalds while we (myself and my two kids) where dying from the heat inside (I live In Florida and its SUMMER!). they came in and stated they where on the phone for 45mins with the home warranty co. but good news the warranty co. was going to replace the compressor but i had to pay $825.00 out of pocket for service to clean a compacted coil (which was not compacted) and that they ( the warranty co) would NOTreplace it unless i did. I also would have to pay for fuel, disposal...all together my cost with the warranty co paying for the compressor would still be $1,454.00 and it would take them about a week to a week and ahalf to get the part and replace again.. FLORIDA, SUMMER!. but because they care they would rent me a portable a/c for that time (make more $$$ off me). Or they could give me an awesome price on a whole new unit (since mine is 10yrs old) $6,500 (about $2,000 over than others). Told them I would get back to them..so they left. I called the warranty co asked them about the $825.00 service I needed to do and questioned my total out of pocket cost. They responded that the compressor was ordered and that there was NO mention anywhere from the call that was made about a compacted anything..they did not require me to do any additional service and my total out of pocket that they show should only be $200-$300 for fuel and disposal (which they don't cover). I called back (he called a few times while i was talking with co) gave him an ear full of not so nice words and also called his office and let them know what had happened and they have rotten people working for the company. They tried to take advantage of a woman home with two kids in a very uncomfortable, unsafe situation...which is truly disgusting! Fortunately called a true a/c company they got the part and fixed it the same day!!!!!!

Description of Work: Ihad a "deal" for a $24.99 HVAC service. The home was purchased end of May 2011 so it was time. I was getting all sorts of calls from HVAC companies and happened to select this one due to the "sales guy charm" Don't remember his name maybe Zach. They came, they did the $24.99 inspection (which I had done previously by another company about 4 days before). I bought a $150 twice a year service (the indicated it would be April and Oct - no contact as of yet for April), a blower cleaner which who knows I was working it may be ok and over $800 for UV lights to kill the mold from the system.The lights lasted less then 2 weeks. I called and was delayed on the fix for at least 2 weeks. The service man came and indicated it was a fuse (not telling me where the actual fuse was in the event this should happen again) fixed it and left.Less than 2 weeks later, the lights went out, I have called and not only have they promised a date/time for the last 2 weeks - no one has come.I called today and the gal put me on hold abut 8 times (one can tell when the hold time expires and you are just put back into the hold chain, then put into a voicemail, going nowere, will not take a message.This company has to decide what is more important. 1-Honoring commitments 2-Ripping people off. I work hard , if I worked to this standard I would not have a job.

Description of Work: They were here to install my UV light system that they had broken from my old unit. They were trying to repair it but they couldn't. They finally came out to repair it recently.

Description of Work: A/C was not working, and our neighbor was having his worked on, so we asked them to check ours. Talked us into a new unit, and installed the next day (Monday 9/12). Worked for one day. Then we had to call for service, it wasn't working at all. They came two days later (keep in mind it is hot in southwest florida in September). Said it needed a part they had to order. Week later they finally came and installed part. Worked one day. Still hot in here. Service man again on the way. I wish we could just cancel this whole deal.

Description of Work: We got a mail offer and invited these people (Climate Solutions, Inc. of Cape Coral, FL) to inspect our P**** Gorda HOME AC unit in the fall of 2008. When they came back in 2009, there seemed to be something 'double-speak' about what we'd paid and what was due. I wrote it off to my being silly and not paying attention to business. They came back in the fall of 2010 and talked us into a UV unit and a total cleaning of all the AC inards; it cost well-over $2000. We thought at the time that we might be 'being taken' but dismissed it because I THOUGHT I was a wise consumer (NOT!!); I have allergy issues, and my husband has serious lung/COPD issues. The unit at the house is working fine (except for eating HOLES that the UV light eats in our AC filters!)............. Fast forward six months to our condo in P**** Gorda-----purchased to live in for awhile after Hurricane Charlie----- which we still own and rent. I asked Climate Solutions to check that unit this spring (2011). Please know, the AC unit at the condo was working perfectly. I decided it should be checked as it had not been serviced in the several years we've owned it. Was told 1) the coils were dirty (and would cost around $500. to remove and clean) 2) we could purchase a UV light to clean those nasty coils (while saving that ugly $500. cost) and 3) we needed a 'kick-start' unit up on the roof to make the unit last longer by tempering-down the amount of electricity that zaps the unit each time it comes on and wears it out................. Spent $900. in early May 2011 to do these two things plus purchase a year-service agreement. Within a few days, the AC just stopped working (after years of being fine!). Called CS, Inc. again. My service person replaced the thermostat; told me that the circuit breaker MIGHT need replacement but wait and see. This service man gave me his personal cell phone # and said "Call me ANYTIME on this number. I WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU!!!!" The AC worked OK for a couple of weeks; we left on 5/18/11 to come north for the summer. Our friends went to use the condo for a vacation, arriving on 6/2/11. No AC upon arrival!! Called for service on the personal cell number to "Richard" who was going to "take care of me". No answer to them or to me when I called from Maine. (3 days later----still no return phone call!!) Our friend at our hot condo finally called the home office number in Cape Coral after an hour or so. Some fellow showed up a bit later who knew your basic "nothing about anything"; said that the ENTIRE wiring from the condo unit to the roof (3 stories) needed to be replaced (OOOOOH MY GOD!!!!); got paid for the house call by my friend who is there on vacation.. (Oh god, again.....) Another guy came the NEXT day (Friday 6/3/11); he actually appeared to KNOW a thing or two or three.................... "No need to replace the entire unit-to-roof wiring; might need new circuit breaker." (as mentioned previously). Said he was licensed to do the electrical work; left to get the part (which I assume one can buy at Home Depot or Ace Hardware but he had to get it from Cape Coral or off a truck of someone who works for the company..... Who the h*** knows; it made no sense then and it still makes NO sense!). This guy NEVER came back while my vacationing friends sat there with two kids ALL afternoon on Friday, June 3, 2011, waiting for his return! He DID call at 5:30PM on that Friday night and said he couldn't get the work approved by ME so he couldn't do it and they could probably get there Monday.................... HUH? I was here in Maine, laying on the couch with a horrid cold......not going anywhere......perhaps on the landline phone for 10-15 minutes all day. We have a landline and a cell! I didn't get a call. My friends had paid the fee the previous night for a NON-repair and were UNlikely to refuse to pay again to solve this problem while the family cooked-away in the FL heat with NO air conditioning! What is UP with that and what is wrong with these people?? Long story short, our friends called a local P**** Gorda/Port Charlotte electrician (Boyd Electric-----I love them!!!) who sent someone over immediately (charging us overtime because it was now almost 7PM on a Friday night, but God love them because it was money well-spent and they deserved it!!!) who changed the circuit breaker AND A FUSE. ................ A FUSE, people!!!!! A FUSE!!!! Climate Solutions, Inc. personnel do NOT, apparently, check fuses because they don't show up well on the profit/loss sheets!!!! These people who screwed with this for almost a month and did not check THE FUSES!!!!! The AC is working now! My friends are having a happy experience in P**** Gorda at this moment while I remain nervous that it will go ka-flummox any minute because I don't really feel that anyone has a handle on what is going on there. I am still not comfortable with what they did or why they did it; all I know is that it was working fine before I let the Climate Solutions, Inc people touch that unit!!! I will keep my fingers crossed until I return to P**** Gorda in the fall then go to a local company deemed dependable by local references and/or Angie's List people. I am severing ALL ties with Climate Solutions at my condo AND at our home in P**** Gorda. I have spent over $3000. in repairs and add-ons plus about $300. in "annual service contracts" for the house and the condo since the fall of 2010. Shame on me!! I don't really care anymore. Flush the annual contracts down the toilet; I want those people gone from my life! They can just chalk it all up to profit. Since I have no recourse..................but I am done with them but have spent the 20 dollars to post this on Angie's List and warn all who will listen! You may get all kinds of interesting mail about 'good deals' for your AC service, but if you get one from THESE people...........IGNORE IT---trash it, burn it, flush it, feed it to the cat wrapped in tuna fish!!! As explained above, we have spent serious money with these people over the last year and feel totally used and stupid. Am so angry that I can't adequately put it in writing. Just keep away from this company!!! And be sure to investigate ANY AC folks who want you to spend big bucks; get a second opinion!!! Ask your neighbors; ask your friends; ask other service people who you trust for referrals. But just stay the h*** away from Climate Solutions, Inc. I have learned the hard way! Shame on me!

Description of Work: Completed new A/C for one property ($6000) added duct work and enlarged ducts for another property ($2000).

Description of Work: I had a new 4 1/2 ton central air conditioning system installed. They were unsuccessful in repairing the old system so they removed it and installed the new one. The work took approximately one day to complete. As I only bought a partial amount of the new system from this company, I would rather not include the price of the service as it does not accurately reflect the cost.
