They demolished and removed the entire kitchen, tore up the floors in the dining and living rooms and in both bathrooms. The bathrooms entailed removing and replacing toilet bowls after tile work was done. After tile was laid down in the kitchen new cabinets with handles were installed, new stove and new dishwasher installed and sink pipes were moved. Installed water filter for refrigerator and sink. Toilet bowls were replaced as was the washer-dryer stackable in the hallway. There was broken pipe behind the washer-dryer that I had to pay to repair. It went smooth overall until I saw that the cabinets were not all the same level on top. I quote him: "I'm finished when you are happy" I was not happy with that and he put a filler board to make them even. He told me he was going to make the cabinet above the refrigerator level with the top of the refrigerator so that I could reach it more easily. When the refrigerator was installed there was a 6 inch gap between the top of the refrigerator and the bottom of the cabinet. Also the cabinet was not as deep as the opening and one could easily see the back was totally empty. When I pointed this out to him, he put it another filler board (4") and there is still a space. What happened to "I'm finished when you are happy"? When I called the office about this I was told he was out of the country for a few weeks and this problem could be fixed for $400.00. I felt that as a elderly widow, I was being taken advantage of.
