First red flag: Neighbors needed their roof redone as this company put new roof on and it was crooked. Second problem was stating he would start work on this date and it was 10 days later her showed up. No weather check and a two day job started and ended in the rain. Initially the quote was very competitive. I agreed. We had to be out of town when he did show and it was the next morning I got the call about an additional $3000.00 cost. I agreed and we further agreed on additional $1200.00 to replace face boards. It should be noted that an extensive conversation took place during the planning phase in regard to the chimney leak; the sole reason for replacing roof then as opposed to waiting a few years. The job was complete. It was upon my return we noticed 25% of face boards were not replaced. I called. He stated he did not replace in attempt to keep costs down...? We agreed to $400.00 more and a week later he showed and finished the boards. It was 1 year and 6 days later that we had a torrential downpour. The chimney was leaking. I contacted him and he wanted to charge me to repair. He denied any knowledge of the leaky chimney but did state he repaired the back chimney; one having had no issues prior to roof replacement. He freely hit us up for additional money but failed to complete and the left incomplete work to keep costs down. ?? Late. Argumentative. Political discussions in my home. Unprofessional, at best. I would definitely look elsewhere.
