Josh was punctual, Polite, and very knowledgeable! Called over the phone and told him the issue we were having with our dryer. He knew just by describing what part he needed to order, and gave me an estimate over the phone. Came out after a scheduled appt and completed the job. From start to finish it was a pleasure working with him, and we will not hesitate to use his services again in the future!

He replaced it in less then 15 minutes. He accidentally cut a very small hole in my floor when moving the refrigerator back. He acknowledged it immediately and gave me the choice of him sending someone to fix it or take 50% off my bill.

I was very impressed with Josh's level of professionalism, knowledge and integrity. I immediately trusted and felt at ease with Josh. He arrived promptly on the agreed upon time and quickly and efficiently diagnosed the problem on my appliance. He gave me options which helped me to choose the right course of action for me. Called Josh early in the morning. He was able to talk me through some diagnostic tests to determine the problem. He said he could send his Dad, Terry, to fix it within the next 2 hours as he was in the area and had the necessary part on the truck. 1 hour later Terry showed up. 1-1/2 hours later my fridge was fixed and cooling like new. Our refrigerator door wouldn't swing closed by itself and we kept leaving it ajar. Josh ordered the part during our phone call and arrived when he said he would after he received it. It turned out the "correct" part listed by three separate sites did not fit. Josh didn't give up, though. He modified the part that had been sent and it works great now. He also gave us us some good tips on how to care for our freezer and other appliances. We appreciated that as we are new to Florida and there were things we didn't realize. We will be calling him again if anything breaks!

It went really well. He did what said he would do at the time promised. Honest work.

We were very happy! Josh came when he said he would, and fixed the problem quickly and inexpensively. It was a build up in the water line that he said would need to be cleaned out every 5-6 years. I was excited to put up his refrigerator magnet because he services appliances and also does general handy person work in the off season. He was personable and we trusted him.

Josh diagnosed the problem over the phone -- I had a new garbage disposal installed recently and likely didn't knock out the drain plug before connecting the dishwasher drain hose. This was at a rental condo that I own, and I wasn't in town to address the issue myself, so I asked Josh if he could do it -- and also asked if he could clean my dryer vent. He didn't do dryer vent cleaning, but recommended Clay @ VentPro. He knew that Clay had some pretty good handyman skills, so he suggested that I ask Clay to fix the dishwasher drain problem while he was there to clean the dryer vent. Clay was able to do the work at a VERY reasonable cost. Josh Baxter helped me out tremendously, but didn't make a penny. I applaud his professionalism and integrity, and will definitely call him for any future appliance repair needs.

Josh was wonderful as we explained we needed to keep the appliance coloring which is "almond" and important everything matches. Our appliances are not used year round and they are all in excellent working condition. We can live with the outdated almond color, we just aren't willing to go the extra expense of changing to Stainless Steel at this time. Josh was so very helpful, he suggested a comparable unit which was less expensive yet keeping the same color and features we we're used too It was a great experience all around. Nice young Man, knowledgeable, helpful..needless to say we we're impressed and would not hesitate to call Josh again for all our appliance mishaps.

He was quick, he was very good. I got him from Angie’s List. It took under an hour. He diagnosed it, in and out real fast.

Josh came out 2 days after we called and within the time frame he gave us. He knew right away that the water had frozen in the water line due to the poor design of our G E refrigerator model. He told us what to do to thaw it out. We chatted for a few minutes about which appliance brands he recommended and when he started to leave, we asked him what we owed him. He told us there was no charge as there was no actual repair involved. We were shocked. I mean, who does this?? We tried to talk him into at least taking a trip charge and he refused. The poor guy had to sit in that lousy beach traffic to get to us and still wouldn't take a dime. We were impressed by that alone, but also by his knowledge of appliances and the different brands. And a nice guy on top of all that. Definitely will call him for any future appliance issues and highly recommend him.

Was great had everything on him for everything but the dryer so I had to wait for a part to come in. He is very efficient and still was able to use the dryer without the part safely without thinking I was going to blow things up.

Josh was prompt on his service call. He gave me a time frame for his visit and was in the time allocated. He was able to fix the problem quickly and the total service call for two appliances was less than two hours. As long as you give him the information over the phone he is able to quickly solve the problem and advise you on the best solution.

I phoned Baxter Appliance and Josh answered immediatley. He asked me to tell him what my dryer was doing. He told me I needed my duct/vent cleaned and recommened another Angies list member and actually gave me the phone number! Next time I need a appliance repair, I will definitely phone Baxter's. Josh contacted me prior to making any repairs. He recommended that I buy a new washing machine because the tank is deteriorating. He was thorough and even recommended where I might buy a new machine. He helped me understand what needed repaired on my washing machine and what it would entail. Not only was he was right on time with my appointment, he was courteous, professional, friendly and very knowledgeable which really set me at ease. He came in and repaired my washer and also took the time to explain how and why it happened...and he also told me that I had a great washing machine :) I was totally pleased with the work that was done and the price!!
