I had reviewed a number of companies and after speaking with Jerry Scotto from American Mechanical of SWFL, I chose them for the install of a new central air unit. This project was performed while I was back at my permanent home. My Home Watcher let the crew in, and an hour later called to say he would like to leave as these guys were extremely professional, very neat and respectful of my home, and knew exactly what to do. Jerry sent me photos. The install was complete, clean, and wrapped up in a day. I highly recommend American Mechanical of SWFL!

Installer did an excellent job. They installed a Comfort Maker heat pump and it cost between $1000 to $1300 less than my other 2 estimates.

Jerry was awesome right from the beginning, very personable. He was on time, polite, and professional. He explained everything to me up front and kept to his word on his estimate. He was the only one of numerous other companies that came that actual went up to the attic to check on the duct work . Recommended a solution to make the air flow better to my main room. I was able to schedule the installation on the day which worked best for me. Doug and Mike were the installers, they did a great job! They too were on time, polite, and professional. They also cleaned any mess they made. I Would absolutely recommend American Mechanical to anyone who needs a new AC unit.

These were great guys! They were a touch more expensive but well worth it. I live in a condo and the HOA can be a little difficult to deal with but these guy took care of everything. Very painless. Scott was great!

HVAC estimater was the most thorough of the 4 companies I interviewed. And was the only company that offered to send a mechanic to give me an estimate for a repair. I went with the repair which was less than 2nd others. Will hire them when I am ready for a replacement.

Professional, hard working people

DUCTS MATTER!!! You can have the most top of the line heat pump, but if your ducts are damaged, ripped, or undersized you will not get full benefit from your system! We spent a lot of time researching Heat pumps. Had SEVERAL installers to our home for quotes and recommendations. Thereâ s so much to learn! ONLY American Mechanical rep (Kenny) asked to look at our ducts! Lo and behold, one of the ducts in the home we just bought 6 months prior was crushed!!! We were shocked to see this! And so appreciative that Kenny bothered to look at all when none of the others did. We chose a 3 ton ComfortMaker (made entirely in USA). The quote was reasonable (not the highest and not the lowest) and INCLUDED the duct replacement. We knew we were in good hands with this company! Doug and Mike were our installers and they were polite, clean, friendly, and efficient. We will refer American Mechanical to all of our family and friends. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Air quality was a special interest and help advise me

Everyone from start to finish was so professional and honest! They even climbed into my attic to calculate the existing duct work and found that it wasnâ t the right size to begin with ! Since having them install my new a/c and modify the duct work to the correct size we have already seen the power difference and how much more comfortable our house is. I would DEFINITELY recommend them to other customers!!!

The representative that answered our call, Jerry Scotto. was truly outstanding! He is an honest person in an occupation where honesty is hard to find! If all of the representatives are like him, then I heartily recommend American Mechanical. I will be using them in the future for all of my A/C needs.

The install was today and I was not present. However, the person who maintains my home was and being an ex contractor, he was pleased, so I am too. This company offered me a couple of things others did not. They were right on with timing, promptness, ect. The product is American made, yeah!!!

Got a fast fair quote, work was done fast and efficiently. No BS from these guys like some of the other companies in the area. No inflated outrageous price. Would definitely recommend.

The workers arrived on time, discussed their plan of operation with me. They were professional dressed for the job. The work was finished in a timely manner. The work was done in a extremely professional. Cleanup preformed and all debris was hauled away. I have other companies do A/C work for me, this was the best work performed that anyone could ask for.
