Services we offer
Sales and Installation of Laminate, Hardwood, Tile, Vinyl and Carpet.
They were very fast and thorough and did the job very well. I had three bedrooms, one hallway, and all ajoining closets replaced with a high end laminate (previously carpeting) including new base trim and they had the work completed in less that two working days. They were very professional, timely, polite, and clean.
Description of Work: I purchased flooring from Lumber Liquidators in Naples and had it installed by Amazing Floor Coverings.

amazing Floor Covering; We need you back out here!!! There are a number of planks that are not glued down properly (planks that are identified by a hollow sound do not have enough glue, as opposed to the ones that are solid sounding and appropriately glued down) there are places that have not been caulked properly on the quarter round, glue-dropped on numerous parts of the floor. On another note my driveway and grass is littered with cigarette butts, we do not smoke!!! Please contact us ASAP, as you have been paid in full. 805-689-4260 or 772-584-0642 Carter & Nell Baird Nell Abercrombie <nellabercrombie@gmail.com>Aug 4to Call This is Mrs. Baird,I just preheated my oven to 375 degrees,Guess where your installers had put my Cuisinart food processor. You're right IN MY OVEN!!!! I don't store things in ovens, it never occurred to me to look in MY OVEN. I am LIVID!!!!!!!!!!!! Nell Abercrombie-Baird Nell Abercrombie <nellabercrombie@gmail.com>Aug 4to CallI should have thought of that because yesterday I had my husband call John and ask him where on earth the installers had put my toaster and juicer. I was minutes away from preheating my oven when he said they just called and said they were in the oven. So now it's my fault as I didn't think to look in my 2nd oven. How stupid of me not to look in the 2nd oven, because if these guys were so dumb as to put appliances in an oven and NOT tell the homeowner, then of course, I should have looked in the 2nd oven as well. I feel as if I am cleaning a home that has been under major construction, new construction, there is cement debris in every cabinet, curtain, piece of furniture, I even had to vacuum out my ink jet printer to get it to work. and it was not in the same room!!!! the unacceptable effort at putting up plastic in only two areas was worthless as it was not taped down to the family room. I don't care how much repair they WILL go to for the wood planks that ARE NOT GLUED DOWN PROPERLY i will never recommend these installers. Not to mention my husband (83 years old)was out sweeping up cigarette butts that had been put out IN OUR DRIVEWAY. That is so unacceptable, it is beyond my ability to express my disgust at that rudeness. Nell A. Baird Nell Abercrombie-Baird It is Sat. Afternoon, Amazing Floor Covering said they would be here today to complete the repairs, we have heard NOTHING from them since they informed us they would be here on todays date, Sat. Aug. 15. Nell We are told by Amazing Flooring that due to their heavy schudule, they will not be back in to complete the repairs until Aug. 25th, almost 4 weeks after the initial flooring was installed. Two appointments were made in which they no-showed, Aug. 15 and 16 appointments were made and no one showed up. What about completing the job with us BEFORE scheduling more work. This job IS NOT COMPLETE!!! If they don't show up on the 25th of Aug. I will file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau against Amazing Floor Coverings AND The Home Service Store. Nell A. Baird RE: 28369 Sombrero Drive, Bonita Springs, Fl. Aug 13 (8 days ago Today we had a cleaning crew come out to clean up the dust and cement debris left by the installers of our wood flooring. The installer was here this week to repair the planks that had not adhered to the glue, James, the man doing the repairs ran out of glue that he was drilling a hole in the planks and injecting the glue under the wood. He said he would be back on Sat. to complete the job. There remains to be done the removal of the glue residue from every room. James attempted to start the clean up of all the interior of the cabinets, the cabinet surfaces and the walls. However I asked him to stop, all the dishes, every drawer and every item had to be removed and washed and the cabinets and drawers had to be first vacuumed out and then wiped out. It took a crew of two people and 4 hours X 2 equaling 8 hours to remove all of the silverware, dishes and pots and pans, wash them, clean out the drawers and cabinets, wash the exterior of the cabinets and kitchen walls. They only were able to accomplish the clean up of the kitchen today, they will return on Tuesday to tackle my husbands office and the kitchen appliance pantry and the same procedure will have to take place as every appliance is covered with dust and debris. There was NO attempt to screen off the shelves with plastic. The ONE area that they protected with a plastic screen was dust free and that was the wet bar area. Today the cost was $200 for the cleaning of the kitchen and the clean up continues. Nell Abercrombie-Baird Aug 15 (6 days ago) It is Sat. We relied upon the advice of one of your supervisors, I believe his name was Don, to change our choice of glue to a "Super Glue" as he referred to it. It seems as if the glue was put down and the glue may have hardened before the planks had a chance to adhere properly. I expected a dusty mess but not inside of the kitchen cabinets, the pantry has a think layer of dust over every spice jar, can and object.. Please have someone contact us immediately. Response from AMAZING FLOOR COVERINGS
Wow, this is what happens when you hire unlicensed contractors who are jacks of all trades and experts at nothing. Other so called contractors were hired to prepare the home for new flooring, they were also contracted for various other small projects. However they were very disgruntle over the fact that they were not given the flooring contract. We went into the home to start the installation and moved hours of furniture and personal belongings (closets filled). Didn't say a word about the extra time and work, just tried to help an elderly couple get through a major home improvement project. After completion the other so called contractors came in to finish their odds and ends, at which time they tried to convince the customer that we had done a poor installation. When we responded to the customers request for service, we found only two boards at the butt joints to be slightly lifted (this is known to the industry as over wood). The boards were within manufacturer and industry standards. Not more than the thickness of a credit card. We did however clean the floor after the so called professional cleaning company deep cleaned the house for $200. We found a haze on the floor which is typical of using soap or detergent (unlicensed cleaners). as for the cigarette butts, again never had a complaint about it. We left the customer satisfied. Note: this is the only major complaint we have received in over a million square feet of flooring installations over the course of 25 years. This job was a fairly large job 1500-2000 square feet loaded with personals and furniture. The prep work was a combination of Tile and Thinset Removal and some Carpet. 4/30/16
