+ -1 moreWe paid the contractor upfront for the pavers. They did do some work. They said they had been robbed and would be back after it all got sorted out. They took our money and filed for bankruptcy after we never heard back from them. I received a letter from somebody and it turns out this company has done this several times. They take your money, file for bankruptcy, and change the name of their business. We got a call from the paver manufacturer and they said they had never been paid. They want us to pay for the pavers. Now we have a lean on our house because we refused to pay again for the pavers we had already. We strongly suspect there is fraud involved.
Description of Work: They did some hardscaping for us. They laid some pavers around the driveway and a few other things.

+ -1 moreHad a great salesman-- Joey. Came to the house twice before we decided on the type of patio we wanted. He measured out the amount of pavers we would need. It took several weeks before they had the pavers in stock. We were told the paver company was very busy. We finally had a date for the installation . The men who did the work worked so hard. They had to dig up the grass and lay down the sand. They didn't speak English, which was an inconvenience. One of the owners came by to check on the job. As the job was almost done, the men realized they were short on pavers! We called the company and were told there were no more pavers in the warehouse -- we could shorten the design or wait several weeks for more pavers! We decided to just redesign the pattern. The job was finally completed-- it took an entire day. Soon after, we discovered that the company had declared bankruptcy! Looks like we were lucky to get the job done!

+ -1 moreTerrible ifffy chance of speaking with a human. The only correspondence was via their lawyer explaining that they were having difficult times and would probably communicate again about 30 days which has passed. I doubt that I will ever be reimbursed. I more than 70 years of doing business I have never encountered a company as dishonest.
Description of Work: Took the down payment and absconded with the money. he day the check was cashed. The promised to start in 2 weeks and that would have been 6/24 then said it would be the next Monday and Tuesday then it was the first week in July which would have been July 2nd and 3rd.. They provided nothing and took my money knowing that they could not perform their contract.
