On the recommendation of a friend and seeing Alan and his team installing carpeting and tile in this friend's condo, we asked him to give us an estimate for our lanai (cement floor) and tiled areas (kitchen, hallway, two bathrooms, laundry room). After thoroughly measuring and suggesting he lay new tile over the old tile, he gave us the price of $4558 including $902 for the lanai and $3656 for the rest including the t-molding, removal of applianced and commodes. He required a deposit of $3000 as he was to pay for the tile from American Tile Dist.INC. Upon our return he contacted us as we landed in Miami telling us an accident with water damage had occurred; he had taken full responsibility for our condo and the condo below. Measures were already being taken to remedy the situation. Contacting our neighbor she confirmed the event and consequence. When we arrived the next day, Alan met with us that afternoon with the Ameri-Dry service person. Alan stated to him he was fully responsible and would take all the necessary action upstairs and down. Floor boards and portions of the laminate flooring were taken up in numerous rooms were the water was. Fans and humidifiers had been in place for a few days. Alan said he would replace all laminate in the entire affected rooms. We discussed upgrades stating we would pay the difference in materials. As soon as we had chosen the flooring and had the ok from the Ameri-Dry people, Alan rearranged his busy schedule and in three days finished the entire project. The tile installation, the laminate flooring installation were superbly rendered. In fact we contracted with Alan to do two other rooms with the laminate flooring next November as his schedule is so full. Our neighbor''s condo is now complete. In addition I purchased two new commodes to replace the old ones as Alan had to remove them for the tile. He hauled away those and any debris that occurred. Alan is a CRAFTSMAN of HIGH INTEGRITY and of HIGH SKILL. For installation of tile, laminate and engineered flooring, carpeting, we would heartily recommend Alan with NO reservations. We need to add that the products, advice and service we received from American Tile Dist. Inc. was first rate. This company is storing the rest of the laminate flooring until next November when Alan will install it. What could have been an extremely negative experience, became a most positive one due to Alan and his team. We have high trust in Alan Lynch Floor Covering, Inc.
