paid twice for the same work and still wasn't right. They promised to come back and correct. They never did show or even call.

ARROW ENVIRONMENT SERVICES AND JEFF BENDER SPRINKLERS REFUSES TO HONOR WARRANTY WORK Contacted Jeff Bender Sprinklers in April to repair broken sprinkler pipe. Jeff Bender Sprinklers is an acquired company under Arrow Environmental Services based in Sarasota, Florida. On April 27th, John from Jeff Bender Sprinklers came out and repaired the broken pipe. The break was complicated and several T fittings and elbows had to be replaced that fed into 3 sprinkler valves. I was satisfied with John's work, paid him in cash and even gave him a $10 tip. In early July, I noticed water pooling in the same area where the pipes were fixed in April. I called Arrow Environmental Services (the parent company of Jeff Bender Sprinklers) and requested someone come out and fix it. Three days later on a Friday, Steve from Arrow came out without tools, looked at the pool of water, and declared that he'll have to get Jeff Bender Sprinklers out on Monday to dig up the area to determine the problem. I reminded Steve that I had called this issue in the previous Monday and I wasn't interested in waiting until the next Monday to get the repairs effected. Steve agreed to come back the next day, Saturday, to what I thought was going to be the repair of the pipe. True to his word, Steve came back the next day with a shovel and dug out around the broken pipe. He observed that the broken pipe looked new and I remarked that it was the same pipe that John had installed in April. Steve then indicated he would have to get John back out to get it fixed. The following week, John and Jeff Bender came out to inspect the pipe - this is where the absolution of responsibility began. They both indicated that the break must have been the result of soil erosion - the shifting of soil around the pipe. Really? In two months? Was there an earthquake I missed somewhere? John indicated that the soil could shift if there were air pockets in the soil. I reminded John that HE WAS THE ONE THAT FILLED IN THE HOLE AFTER HE FIXED THE PIPE. John and Jeff left without fixing the pipe indicating that someone from Arrow would contact me on this issue. Nobody called. I called Arrow Environmental the next day and asked to have a manager or supervisor contact me. On Tuesday, I was contacted by a "Richard" who indicated he was the manager. I explained to Richard the complete chronology of this issue and asked what Arrow was planning to do to resolve the issue - in short I was told by Richard that nothing would be done because it was not their fault that pipe had broke. I asked to speak to the owner of the company and Richard stated that there was no owner - the company was owned by a private equity firm. I find it appalling that any company would absolve themselves from responsibility on the repair work they performed.

I would highly recommend this company for sprinkler issues. They follow through with their promise and make the customer happy. Will call them in the future.

I did have a bad experience with them. So, I wanted to use them again a couple of months ago and there was a kid. He came out, walked in my backyard, walked back to his truck, and he left. He did not check my sprinklers. He did not do absolutely anything. I am thinking that he got called away for something because he was almost two-hours late too for the scheduled appointment that I had. I never heard from him. I get a bill in the mail and it is literally $35. So, I called the company and got the biggest run-around. I spoke to a couple of different people. I supposedly spoke to the owner. Then, I spoke to somebody else because I keep getting these bills. They threaten to put a lien against my house for $35. So, I finally spoke to the actually owner-owner and he told me that regardless if they come for one minute or if they are out here for an hour-and-a-half, it still falls $35. The $35 is for a tune-up and he did not do that. He did not touch my sprinklers. He did not touch anything. He literally walked in the backyard and walked out. So, I was very upset about it. I was actually going to take it to court, but for 35 bucks and the law enforcement, the last thing I needed to do would be fighting in court with somebody over $35, but I would never use him ever. They are very unprofessional. The price is good if they actually do the work that they are supposed to do. I used them two years ago and it was great. This time, they did not do anything.

Technician showed up on time. Replaced sprinkler head broken below ground. Replaced bad nozzle. Inspected all zones and heads to ensure proper operations. No charge beyond the $35.99 tune-up price.

Don't use this company they are absolutely horrible to deal with. I won't write out a long boring story, so I will just give you the cliff notes. I asked for a free estimate to have work done. A guy shows up, parks on my lawn, and then throws his cigarette butt on my lawn. That was before he didn't shake my hand. He then turns on the system, throws marker flags all over the place, and then criticizes every aspect of the way the original sprinklers were setup using profanity. A free service call turns into a $70 bill although I repeatedly disputed and contacted them explaining that there was no service rendered. After a year of no contact from them and intermittent invoices, they send me a letter with intent to lien on my property. Yes, for $70 they are that hard up. It was a scare tactic for me to pay the bill, but I didn't sign anything, nor would it hold up in small claims course. I tried to settle with them and say you know what, fine, I will pay for the service call. They wouldn't even do that so I just paid the full bill because I don't have time to deal with this anymore. It was a really terrible experience dealing with the people at the office too. Be careful when dealing with this company people of SWFL...whatever decoy name they use this year. Scotland Yard, Affordable Sprinklers, Jeff Bender, who knows what their name is, but they will take your money for doing nothing. Here you go you shysters, you won! You made $70 off me by throwing some flags in my yard. You have to love Angie's list, and not only that, old school word of mouth goes a long way.

I call to ask for a proposal to do the work as I had seen their trucks I my neighborhood. Jeff arrived about two hours later and we reviewed the existing system and what changes needed to be made. He was here approximately 3-45 minutes. I later received the proposal and an invoice for 35.99 in the mail. No mention had been made of a charge for an estimate. His estimate was fairly priced, but since I was not aware they would charge for the estimate I was hesitant to use them as I might expect other unexpected charges.

The person that came out to quote me originally didn't do the proper testing that was necessary to see if my well could handle the sprinkler system. I told him where I wanted the heads placed and they said no problem we can make it work and quoted me $1000. I was very clear that I was having a professional landscape company coming in and putting in $2000 worth of plants and two trees so I needed the sprinkler system up and running as promised! They cut both underground drainage lines around the house they also cut the water line that went to the back spigot and promised me that they would replace that which they never did! They came out they quoted me $1000 for the job they couldn't get the system to work correctly so they told me I had to replace the current pump so I bought a brand-new pump for $334. Now even though I was quoted $1000 and they said my pump would work fine i'm now at at $1332. Then when the new pump wouldn't work on a regular basis after months of calling them they told me that the pump that I had purchased through them and installed by them was not powerful enough that was the problem and that I would have to spend even more money on upgrading the pump! This is eight months later after the sprinkler system has worked a whole month since I have paid them $1332! My plants continue to die ! They basically forced me into buying a $777.14 and told me that they would discount it by $388.57 by taking back the pump I just purchased, so another words I still had to pay for the $777 pump because I already paid the for the previous one! I had never agreed to this new pump as I was not going to be paying $1700 for a system I was quoted $1000 but the next thing I knew there they were installing the new pump! The system worked for a whole 2 1/2 months and then broke down again! At this point I was so incredibly frustrated I said just come and get your equipment to give me my money back! I kept calling and calling and calling and nobody called me back finally I had one of their workers cell phone boots called him directly he came out on his own time checked the pump said that part needed to be ordered and it was under warranty and also felt it wasn't getting enough electrical power. I gave them permission to run the electrical direct to my box so he would have 220 Instead of 110. I waited and waited for the new part to come in continuously called week after week nobody returned my call, I received a bill in the mail that I owed them $388.57! They told me they would not fix the pump if I didn't at least pay for half so I did I paid $194.28! So now I have paid $1582.85 for a sprinkler system I have now decided to contact the news as well as the Better Business Bureau I have given him so many chances to make this right and still they haven't that I was originally quoted for $1000 and still and year and six months later I still do not have a sprinkler system that is working! I received a bill yesterday for $194.28 the balance owing on the pump that is only worked back in February for 2 1/2 months I have called this company on a weekly basis nobody calls me back I have left messages for Travis who is the manager and Jeff Bender who is the owner and nobody has taken the time to rectify this horrible situation! I have pictures as well as phone documentation. Oh and by the way I thought I would plug the pump in myself to see if I can get it running in the electrical is been disconnected as boots never hooked up the electrical only disconnected it unbelievable absolutely unbelievable! Do not use this company! In response to their response which to me was absolutely ridiculous! It's so frustrating that the company won't talk to me personally or take responsibility for selling me something that NEVER WORKED CORRECTLY! There were eight different people on numerous occasions who came to my house from the period of time of May 2013 I'm till May 2014. My system has been disabled since May 2014. The last word I heard was the new pump needed a part which had been ordered and electrical needed to be changed from 110 to 220. The electrical was then disconnected and nobody called me since. When I called Boots to find out what was going on BECAUSE nobody from the office would call me back he apologized and said he no longer works for Jeff Bender he was fired over stolen checks and that he could not help me until I no longer have a contract with them. I NEVER PAID ANY EMPLOYEE UNDER THE TABLE AND I DON'T APPRECIATE BEING ACCUSED OF FALSE ACCUSATIONS JEFF BENDER! All of your employees, including Boots we're here under the name of Jeff Bender sprinklers trying to fix the problems from Paul, Tyler, Frado and Spike. I also think it's interesting that four of his workers that were at my house are no longer with his company why because they were incompetent I don't know or was it just the company that was incompetent? One thing I do know for sure is I was the only person constant through the more than 30 service calls they say they had at my house they had over eight different workers that came over with a serious lack of communication to the office so I find it very interesting that Jeff Bender could know exactly what went down when he never even contact me personally! Bottom line is they NEVER DID A BUCKET TEST WHEN THEY QUOTED THE INSTALLATION so they had no idea what kind of pump and how many lines that the well could manage! This whole event has been extremely exhausting for me in all my time and money, I have all the documentation to back up this information and have been calling them on a weekly basis for almost a year!

SLY responded within hours to my request for a consultation for yard and house treatments They had their staff Horticulturist contact me the next day to arrange a visit Follow up for appointment was great and right on the dot Jerry showed up He walked my yard and gave me his thoughts on treatment and options His experience and demeanor made me a believer right away - and I signed up on the spot He then treated my outside for insects and explained what would happen next I'd recommend these folks to anyone for their promptness and communication as well as experience in lawn/ palms/ shuddery and home treatments

They did very good. They had some ideas and they actually put a part of my timer for my sprinklers that watered my horse's trough for me. They put an irrigation line over to where my horse trough is and I have a bucket there so it automatically fills every morning. It was their idea and it was an awesome idea.

The setting of the appointment was easy and not very far in the future, so timely. The tech was an hour late! About 30 minutes after scheduled appointment I called main office. and was told tech should have called and he would call me shortly, he did and said sorry he did not have my number or he would have called earlier. He said he was another 25 minutes out. He showed up in that time frame and once on site, did what he needed and was very helpful. Took sufficient time to walk with me around whole system and check each head and made the changes I asked. If he had been on time or called it would have been an A event. Note this was an irrigation call, not pest control or fertilizing!

They seem to be nice when they come over and do stuff. They are personable.

They were terrible. They sent a team here, the person who came and did a quote was excellent. When the boss was here, they were all there but when the boss left, an hour later, they had all gone. They were supposed to put the system in one day. I called and asked for them, the supervisor came by that night they found a sinkhole in my garage and they had cut my water line and sewer line and they buried it and they took off. They quit their job. They crew came back the next day and promised it would get done. The third day, they came and tore all my yard up. I had to hire another provider. They gave me free treatment of lawn fertilization. The house was shut down, not water, no sewer line. My grass was destroyed. My neighbors were looking and wondering what's wrong.

Called 4 or 5 Companies and chose Bender due to Angie's List score and special tune-up price. The first scheduled appt the installer "Boots" showed up about 5 hours late, due to his truck breaking down. I showed him what needed to be done and he verbally quoted me $165 from his head, no written quote and Boots sis not write anything down or add anything up, just in his head. He said he would install the rain sensor for no charge due to his being late and not being able to complete the work on his first visit. I had 3 Palm Trees scheduled to be installed Friday so we reset his appt to Saturday. They showed Sat. as scheduled. All the work was performed and I was billed $227.99. He did not charge me for the rain gauge, he did replace 3 heads at $57.00 which was not figured in his verbal estimate. The helper dug the trench for the water lines to the trees and could have done a much neater job with the sod. Overall I was satisfied and would/will use them again

They installed what we asked them to do and avoided the underground phone lines.

Very prompt and very professional. Extremely happy with the results.

My lawn was always less green and had dead spots with my previous provider. My lawn looks healthy and so do my shrubs with these folks. Very pleased.

He responded to our telephone inquiry very quickly. We made an appointment and he arrived on time. After explaining our condition which was a non-working system he immediately knew and took care of the problem. He was at our home approximately one hour. Elizabeth Waldron

Scheduled work date and time had to be changed several times due to circumstances beyond their control.. I was always notified well in advance and new dates/times were established. Paul and his helper, Spike, arrived punctually on the agreed date and time.. Paul confirmed that my controller had to be replaced and did so. After installation, he programed my settings and tested all sectors and sprinkler heads. He and Spike identified and replaced 11 broken sprinkler heads and adjusted the others ton insure adquate coverage. They were very professional and worked quickly and efficiently. Would not hesitate to call them again if needed.

Initial estimate was provided by Jerry, who showed up exactly at appointed time and provided us with detailed information re: services provided, timelines and billing. We called back and scheduled service to begin on 11/15/13. Technician (Donald) was punctual, professional, and knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions and meticulously provided the services we requested. First impressions are the most important, and Donald was exceptional in his customer service and work performance. Hopefully our future interactions with all of the company's technicians will be just as impressive.

Very professional from the first call. Technician came out on time. Job was completed satisfactorily. Kept to promised estimate. Would not hesitate to call them back. Technician's name might have been Fred but not 100% sure.

They came out for the second time, they were suppose to come last week but had a car issue so they couldn't come. Originally they were here on October 30th. We had them come out because the whole reason was that we knew we had a leak the sprinkler system was turned off. I saw an offer they were running I asked several questions and they assured me they could look for leak. They did the adjustments and could not find the valve boxes, and he said he would have to come back with someone else and a tool to help him find the valve boxes. He came back and an hour and a half later they tell us they can't find the valve and they said we owed them $80.00 for looking for the valve. He never mentioned this price to me before. I said i would pay him the original price I was quoted. I called the boss and have yet to hear back from them.

Paul was very courteous and professional. I would highly recommend using them. Over the years I have had similar work done by other companies and the service was not even close to what I experienced on Friday. Thank you, thank you!
