Tim responded to my phone call within 1/2 hour. When I described the issue he said that it could be a fuse and that he might be able to come the same day - which he did. He repaired the Kitchen Aid dishwasher and checked it out to see if there were any other issues. The next day I noticed what appeared to be water coming out of the bottom of the dishwasher. I called for Quality to come back which they did promptly. The 'water' turned out to be our cat's urine. Quality did not charge me for my mistake. They are professional, prompt and did great work. I am happy to recommend them!

He took an average amount of time but complained about the fact that my house bound partner had been smoking in the house. He said nothing to us at the time but reported it to our landlord saying "I had to go home and shower and change my clothes". If he had simply mentioned the fact that he found smoking objectionable, we would have aired the place out even though there had been no more than 2 cigarettes smoked in a room with the door wide open! This resulted in the landlord calling my partner and saying we would have to leave the premises. The situation had only arisen because my partner had been house bound for a year. The resulting stress and trauma was extremely upsetting. My partner called him and told him she thought that it was unacceptable. He got very angry and strident on the phone and the call ended. He should note that he only services non-smoking homes. After he left, the ice maker was not working for 3 hours and then produced 4 cubes when the norm is 10. As of now, 5 hours later, there are a total of 6 cubes. When we phoned him he stated that is normal?? Not previously it wasn't.

Company is very responsive, professional, and kind. Cleaned up very well after completing work.

This could easily have been a paid service call and I wouldn't have questioned it. I had never used Quality Appliance before. I called based on the reviews here on Angie's List. Nevertheless Steve helped me solve my problem with no apparent benefit to himself, other than good will. With this demonstrated honesty and integrity, Quality Appliance Repair will be my first call should the need arise in the future

Called Steve at work number, left a message. Called on cell phone and left a message. A few minutes later he called me back. I explained my problem gave him brand and model of my broken washing machine. He said he would research and call me back. I never heard from him. I called his cell phone 2 days later and asked to be called back. He did not.

I called Steve early Monday morning after I discovered my side-by-side GE dead and seemingly ready for the grave. He arrived an hour later and revived it to a workable stage so I wouldn't lose food. He promised to return the next day with parts I needed for full repair. He returned as promised and solved my problems. He continued to call daily to ensure the schizophrenic machine continued to operate normally. During each visit and call Steve was very professional and friendly. I'd definitely recommend Steve and Quality Appliance Repair.

Steve (the owner) responded to my request to repair my refrigerator within 4 hours of me calling him on a Monday morning. He quickly located the problem (bad defrost control switch) and repaired my refrigerator. I will certainly use him again should the need arise.

My freezer (full of food) stopped working. I called Quality Appliance around 4:30pm and they returned my call at 7:00pm. I explained what had happened and was hoping someone could be there the following day. The owner said he would check his schedule first thing the next morning and call me. At 8:45am the next day he called back to tell me he could have someone there between 10:00 and 10:30. The technicians, Tim and Doug, were there at 10:00. In about 30 minutes they had my freezer up and running. This company responded quickly and was very professional. Thanks to them I didn't lose a freezer full of food. One other highly rated company told me they couldn't get to me for two days -- even though I reminded them I could lose all my food.

They were excellent...loved them. We had installed a new stove and it smelled like it was burning. We had to call the Fire Dept. and they told us to call an appliance repair service. I looked on Angie's List and I saw this company was close to us and they responded almost immediately and they did very good work and they were very pleasant. I would recommend anyone to call them. They were very pleasant and did the job very fast. They are one of the better people we've had over to work for us.

I called at 9:30 AM this morning for a leak in our freezer. I talked to the owner Steve, he said he would call me back in 15 minutes, sure enough he called back within the 15 minutes. By 11:00 AM he was here and started to wrok on the problem. The first problem was fixed then the primary defect was found. Steve tried to fix it to "his" satisfaction, he was not happy with the fit. He arranged to return this afternoon with the proper connector. About 2:00 he came back fixed the entire ice maker water line system. The invoice was only $85.00, and he came the same day I called and came back. This company has an honest, fair price work ethic. I will reccomend to anyone in his service area. Great find!!!!
