They were fantastic. When I took it home and it still didn't work, I took it back to them and they received, did something else to it, and it works great. Best of all it didn't cost a lot.

They are absolutely wonderful. We also call them and they can come right into our computer and fix everything that needs fixing. So we do call them with some regularity if our computer doesn't work. They say ok, 123 and it's done. Very nominal about $30 or $50. Our computer is an old computer and it was going great for a while. We do live in a forest and we can't use any of the internet stuff. If difficult for them to come out, but they have come occasionally.

They are very helpful over the telephone, no charge. If we just call with questions there is never any charge. We purchase and refurbish items and they are very, very reasonable and the quality is very good. I was having a problem with some software and basically they have, they can access, we have a set up and i purchased the computer through them and also i can access their office through the computer and they can get on with me and help me through the problem i was having. And they have done that two or three times now and never a charge, that is pretty remarkable. I have had them come to the house at one point and there was a $35 come to the house fee at that point it turned out that my computer was old and i needed another one and i purchased one from them that was refurbished for many hundreds less than i would have bought a new one and it has served me well for probably two years at least. They are really a local treasure. We are really lucky to have them. Obviously my computing needs are not huge luckily but they have been very very good over the years. There are basically two guys that run it and i think that they are father and son I have worked with both, both of them are either they work with me immediately or they let me know that they are going to call me back an hour, one day or whatever, but they are always very punctual and as i said very accessible and pretty knowledgeable. If they can't fix my problem they always help me and they work around it and all that stuff. These guys are top of the line. They charge reasonable amounts. I have purchased a couple of products from them and i have not had any problems with either of them. One has lasted me now at least two years and their accessibility and their knowledge seems very top of the line. Once i brought something into them and their turn around time was really quick.

In the middle of 2012 I experienced problems with my home PC. I call the folks at Velva and they came to my house, checked out my system, and spent considerable time discussing my options. The gentleman took my PC and moved all my old materials onto a refurbished computer. They uploaded appropriate freeware and made the newish PC completely acceptable for my use. I had just lost my job so money was tight. I was very pleased with the $250 I spent on this change. Over the next few months I called them with minor problems, well beyond the warranty period, and every time they stayed on the phone, remotely accessed my computer and helped me over each hurdle. For the 2012 holidays I asked for a Netbook. My mom and I went to talk to the folks at Velva Darnell. They spent considerable time showing me a variety of netbooks and talking me through my needs. I left with an adorable netbook, for $150, that worked well for a couple of weeks. I had a problem after that period. I took the netbook into them and they cleaned up my problem (self induced) and had the netbook back to me very quickly. This company is wonderful, provides close personal service and is tremendously responsive. I will use them as long as I live in this area and use computers.
