I showed him where and what I needed and he found a way to get electricity exactly where it needed to go. His work was neat and accurate. Thank-you Kyle and Kennedy Electric.

Obvious they knew what they were doing and industrious such that when they ran into issues they improvised in a clever and professional manner in order to get the work completed. I could not be happier with the caliber and thoroughness of their work. They even did a fine job cleaning up after themselves. Would use Kennedy Electric again, for sure!
Description of Work: Installed Track lighting in den/office, removed kitchen "can" trim and installed LED units along with dimmer. Installed Antenna in attic.

Description of Work: My husband and I recently purchased a small cattle ranch in Brooksville and to say we are "rural" would be an understatement. Needless to say, we have a well and obtain our water only through the use of an electric well-pump; If we lose power, we also lose water. | |While I can certainly buy enough water to get us through most power outages ("Thank you, SAMs Club), having enough water for our cattle is quite another story. A full-grown cow can drink up to 25 gallons of water a day and not even Sam Walton can offer a viable option to meet that need. | |I contacted Mike Phillips at Kennedy Electric (whom I had already used once before for a small electrical service inside our home) and we discussed our options. | |We wanted to feel secure in the knowledge that if we were to lose power for any significant amount of time, we could use our gas-powered generator to maintain our water-pump usage for the herd. | |Mike and his crew did an amazing job installing a separate 30 amp electrical panel inside our garage with a single breaker so that if power is lost, we need only to hook up our generator (outside), flip that breaker, and our well-pump will continue to provide water to our pastures. | |AND...not only will we be able to continue the water-flow, but they also were able to include a minimum of interior outlets, a couple of lights, as well as my refrigerator on the same breaker. | |This, in our opinion, was money well spent! Since we do not have a pond or other source of outside water, the peace of mind in knowing that we can continue to provide water for our cattle in the event of a prolonged power outage is such a relief. As long as we maintain enough gas to power the generator, we will have water. | |As a part of this work order, we also had them install additional lighting at our barn and at our working pen. | |They are professional, courteous, and their work is neat & finished-looking. The additional panel they installed inside our garage looks like it has always been there. | |We truly couldn't have been more pleased.

+ -1 moreWe left a message over the weekend, saying it was not an emergency but wanted to schedule a time for an electrician to come out and see why one breaker kept tripping. Mike Phillips called first thing Monday morning and set up a time to come out for Wednesday morning. We got a call from Mike today (Tuesday) saying they had time to come by now if it was convenient, which it was. Jayson (who has been with Kennedy Electric for several years--I forget the exact number, think it was 9)--came out, listened to our problem, went outside and was able to diagnose the issue immediately. He explained the issue and the cost and repaired it right away. Very professional and easy to understand. Will recommend to anybody needing an electrician and will use when necessary in the future. Their business card has a tag line that is true in our case, and made me laugh: "You'll be shocked ... We show up."
Description of Work: replaced an outdoor electrical outlet with a GFI.

Description of Work: Work was done by "Pete." Had several outlets/switches changed; a new security light installed; a new pole light by driveway installed; a GFI outlet installed outside for fountain; a new hanging light for outside foyer installed; new doorbell installed. Work was done very professionally, electrician was on time, personable and helpful. Cost was competitive and fair. I would definitely recommend Kennedy Electric to anyone needing electrical work done in their home, and would absolutely call Kennedy Electric for any other electrical work I may need in the future!

+ -1 moreCalled them on the third and they came by on the 4th. It only took a few min for them to find that the transformer for the pool light was wired wrong and rewire it properly. The only charger for 1/2 hour service and no service call fee. Great company the light now works perfectly and if we can get the solar panel people out the fix those we may be able to replace the light and swim again.

Description of Work: They came on an emergency situation. We had a lightening storm and my barn was struck by lightening. The electricity in the barn went outand the fuse needed to be replaced. This was first time I had used him.

Kennedy Electric Inc does very good work, they give you a fair price, and don't overcharge. They will also provide an estimate if you wish. I got 4 cards from them so I can dole them out. They are licensed and insured. I trust them.

I was very pleased with the work, the worker and the time it took him to do it. It is nice to know a company you can have complete faith in. I have some new work I want done that I will have done in the next month or two. If you are looking for an electrician who knows what they are doing and do not waste time so they can pad the bill, on the hourly rate, this is the company you want.

+ -1 moreI have used other electricians in the recent past. Calls to them for this project went unanswered. I found Kennedy Electric listed in the local yellow pages, so I called them. I received an excellent response to my request for service. Prompt phone answering, professional and knowledgeable person took my call. Quick reply phone call from local owner Mike Phillips requesting details, and he scheduled the job right then. Electrician Brian arrived on time as scheduled in a marked service van. He was dressed appropriately and professionally (clean, shaved, no smell of cigarettes), and he quickly went to work. He is a pro, and the work was completed quickly and professionally, from start to clean-up. Time on site: Approximately 1 hour. I will definitely will use Kennedy Electric for any electrical work in the future! High quality professional service at a very reasonable price from a local provider.
