Aug. 26 called to complain about the realtor we are using. The contact, Barry Stafford, was not due back in town until Wed. the 28.Left voicemail message and had receptionist take a message. Called Thursday the 28th to see if he was back and/or had received the message. The receptionist was annoyed that I had inquired about the status and said he had the message and would call. Friday the 29th was the start of the Labor Day weekend so I didn't expect any call until Tues., Sept. 3. Thursday, Sept. 5th I had still not heard from him! I called the National Association of Realtors and was told that local problems are handled by local Association. Finally I called the Hernando office and left Barry a voicemail message telling him that there was no need to bother calling me, that after 32 years in Florida I have learned that there are NO PROFESSIONALS here in this state. So, if you have a problem with a realtor, just get an attorney. It's the only way to handle problems here in Florida.
