I've had my 40-yr-old double-wide garage door serviced by Discount Garage Doors twice in the past few years and each time the work was stellar. They are great about working around my schedule and are always on time, if not early. Joe explained the work that needed to be done and how to maintain my door and the opener, treated me like an intelligent woman, and didn't "mansplain" which I often get from other techs. The cost was also reasonable and always explained ahead of time. DGD has become my "go-to" whenever I have issues with my garage door or the opener because of their honesty and dependability.

Raymond was excellent in diagnosing the issue. He was very informative and knowledgable about garage doors in general, spending time explaining what needed to be done. I would not hesitate to use this company again.

I had to purchase a new door opener because he was not able to repair the one I had. Everything is working great now.

Called on Friday afternoon, technician was there on time first thing Saturday morning. Ben was very knowledgeable, professional, and helpful. We thought we would have to replace the door but Ben provided us with alternate options to extend the life of this old wooden door which I love. He replaced the end bearing plates, neoprene roller and maintenance on the springs. His work has a 1 year warranty!! Definitely recommend them and will call them when we need to replace the springs.

Excellent ! New Wayne Dalton double garage door with upgrade was installed quickly and efficiently. Technician Mike was simply the greatest. My highest recommendation for exceptional quality product, installation and customer service to DGD.

Wonderful. Hunter was great. He checked everything and located the problem. Discussed with me if new door, etc. needed. Reprogrammed openers (4), tightened chain, replaced covers on opener lights. After review of all involved with our current opener, new unit not needed. All maintenance performed. Informed me not to use regular LED lights on opener as previous ones could shut down the door. Provided information on new LED lights the door industry has approved that will not interfere with door operation. I purchased 2 Genie LED lights approved by for use by garage door opener manufacturers. Good Job. Professional, friendly, took time to listen to my concerns.

Erin arrived at the appointed time and showed me the door was not engaged. He did not charge me which I appreciated very much. Erin is very professional and explained what I needed to do in the future. DGD is my go-to for garage door problems.

Tyler called before arrival and assessed the situation. He saw no problem in fixing and advised that the springs should be replaced. Which i agreed to do because he was right that the springs were worn after 14 years. Great job done courteous and professional. Will hire again if needed. Thank You

Angies list rated them #1 in hernando county & today they came over n programmed my remote n added a part for free n i asked what i owe & phil said to me Merry Christmas, it's my gift to you & i was soooo GRATEFUL n i thank Discount garage & my Lord n Savior JESUS! My garage door is now working, and everything is working well. he could have taken advantage of me and just gone ahead with the $99.00 deal but he was very honest and told me that i didn't need the tune up & garage door roller replacement deal.

on day of install they put the new door up but refused to install a new opener claiming there was something else that needed to be done and they couldn't do it. Never understood why we didn't get the new opener installed. The sales person that came out to give us estimate saw the old opener and didn't indicate there would be any problem installing a new opener. Totally bizarre. I've never experienced anything like it. Of course they adjusted the price since we didn't get a new opener.

The technician was very professional, knowledgeable, and I was very pleased with the services. I have had no issues with the garage door. I will be using them in the future.

Called DGD and scheduled an appointment for my next day off - Saturday. They could have come out the next day but I was working. They confirmed the appointment Saturday and I also received a call from the repair tech Justin when he was headed our way. He arrived within the scheduled window. He analyzed the situation on our 11 year old system. He recommended that we not only replace the broken spring but also the cables which were starting to fray. I also had him install new rollers that I had previously purchased. He was in and out within 30 to 45 minutes and did a fantastic job. This included the time he spent with me explaining what caused the issue and what future maintenance I could do to prolong the life of system. Justin as friendly, professional and a pleasure to deal with. I will use DGD Brooksville again and ask for Justin.

Excellent! Went from noisy and uneven movement to quiet and smooth operation

The Tech arrived the same day the appointment was made. The receptionist kept me informed regarding the arrival time of the Tech. When he did arrive - 7:00PM. He made a quick visual inspection to get an overview of the problem. During the whole process, the Tech made 3 trips to his truck; 1 - to get the tools needed, 2 - to get the replacement parts, 3 - to take all of the old parts and his tools back. Very Efficient. He disassembled the spring mechanism, did a through inspect of all parts, Then made a 3 part estimate - minimal, mid range and top of the line repair. I opted for the mid range repair. The new parts were quickly install and the door balance adjusted. Total time from arrival to departure 1 1/2 hours. Again - very efficient.

The guy walked in and immediately tried to sell me a new spring and bearings. commented negatively about the work done by the prior serviceman. and then proceeded to spray a little WD40 on my hinges and gave me his bill.. I told him that when I open the door it seems to make a loud bang... he said "oh I know exactly what that is. Your weather seal is sticking to the door... just put a little Vaseline on the seal and it will be fine"... What was I paying him for????.. then he tried to shake my hand with filthy hands...

Excellent I had come home and my garage door would not open, I called DGD and they had someone here in 30 mins. Aaron was my technician he explained everything in a way I could understand. I decided instead of just haveing a repair I had it rebuilt, Aaron was wonderful he was done and cleaned up really fast. The door is working great. I would highly recommend DGD to everyone.

After inspecting the operation of the garage door Derrick showed me where the old rollers had flat spots and were rubbing, so he recommended replacing them with new neoprene rollers. The door is so quiet now it's like brand new. He lubed all moving parts and after replacing the bottom weather stripping I no longer have light, leaves and rain coming in under the door.

No one likes it when the garage door starts to close but hits an invisible "obstruction" which keeps it from closing. This means opening and closing the door will need to be done by hand until it is repaired. Who likes to do that anymore! I called Discount Garage Doors after another company informed me the 1st opening they had was 4 days later. Totally not acceptable. When I called, I was greeted by a very helpful woman who was able to make arrangements for a tech to come out within 3 hours to give me an estimate. Rob was on time which made us very happy. He quickly diagnosed the problem and gave us a quote. It was so reasonable that we had him do the repairs immediately. Thank you Rob and Discount Garage Doors for the level of service you gave us and especially the quick response.

They came, were outstandingly pleasant, did all possible to hold down costs, and performed a terrific job.
