I was hospitalized for 3 months and when I returned home I was in need of some maintenance for my pool. I was sent out children to get my pool back to swimming ability. They didn't have a clue what to do. It has been 3 months and still cloudy. The pool was crystal clear when I hired them and its never been clear since. They sent out a man who spoke so fast I had no idea what he was saying except when he gave me a handful of parts and told me to go buy them... which I did. Now I get a cancellation notice FROM THEM! When honestly I should be getting a refund from them. I'm not a pool expert.. that's why I hire a pool company..so that THEY take care of my pool...not me.. otherwise what am I paying for? I paid$240 and I still have a cloudy pool..worst than it was when I hired them Was even told my pool was painted...not true I called the original owner and pool was never painted. This company only knows how to clean and not too good in that area. ONLY hire if all you want is cleaning done.. Don't expect them to be helpful in any other areas of pool service.

Mr. Clark arrived on time and went right to work. The price was more than fair. He was fast and accurate which usually comes from experience. He was polite and I even enjoyed his sense of humor. It was nice to see someone who enjoys his work for a change.

We decided to not do work at an earlier time, but speaking with him, we ended on good terms. After speaking with friends, they said he was the best. I wanted to hire him back after someone suggested to do an acid wash. So I called him back and he had an attitude with me. He was angry, and I needed to have my husband deal with him. When he came out to do the work he wouldn't acknowledge me. He was rude. The acid wash was done 3 months ago and the pool is back to where it is now. We called him Saturday, but he hasn't returned our phone calls.

I have talked to Mr. Clark several times and left follow up messages. Mr. Clark was scheduled to look at and pump and cleal my pool and filters. I have recieved no work or return phomne calls.

Everything went more than perfect. Since his company has been doing my pool, my pool is beautiful and crista lclear. I love the fact that he can do any reapirs and if he cannot do it he know who can. I will recomend him to anyone as Clsrks Pools is extremlly reliable.

Definition of professional - provide quality service when it's needed, and tell you when it's not.

Excellent service. Call was returned promptly. Motor was replaced two days later while I was at work. Bill was left at the door. Pump is so quiet. Could not ask for more.

I had tried two other pool services prior to finding Clark's on Angie' s List. My pool has never looked better and when I had a minor complaint, it was addressed promptly and in a courteous manner. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to friends and neighbors.

After Russell Pool Service gave us a bid of over $600, Clark bid and fixed it just fine for $65!

It turns out we had a water flow problem that was complicated by the solar panels we use to heat the pool. Our pump system is rather complex since the various components were added at different times. Other service providors had trouble with this themselves. This repairman was skilled and knowledgeable. We had complete confidence in what he explained to us. And it works!

Service was excellent. My pool pump stopped working and he came out the next morning to repair it. Provided me with several options as to what I needed done. Repaired it that morning.

We just moved into a home with a newly installed pool/spa - give or take a year old, max. Previous seller left us NO info about pool/spa specs and/or cleaning info or schedule. Apparently, the pool filter was never cleaned. Clarke's pool specialist turned the gross dirty filter to white again using what looked like a high powered fire hose. He also took the time to explain the significance of the pool strip tests, where to buy them and what they should be. Very informative and such a pleasant personality. I don't recall his name but we will see him again next week. Pool looks amazing! Highly recommend Clarke's to anyone with pool or spa.

We just moved into a new house. The salt water pool needed a good cleaning and the system checked out. The folks from Clark's Pools were able to come the day after we called them. The gentleman who showed up was very friendly and walked me through the whole process so I would be able to service the system myself. During the process, we discovered that there was a problem in the electronic controls (which I already suspected prior to purchase of the home). The company owner himself responded, was able to quickly diagnose the problem and gave me a fair estimate on the spot. He was able to swap out the parts and get me in business within the hour. Comparing prices online, his markup on the parts was reasonable, and the service was exceptional. Due to the professionalism of the owner and his employee, I have hired them to handle all of my pool maintenance. No contract was required and I even got an unexpected discount.

Replace fitting and all plumbing between pool pump and filter.

He is a great guy. I would definitely call him if you have to have any pool service done. He is very punctual and he does what he says he is going to do. He is very trustworthy, honest and down to earth. All around he is a good guy.

BIG disappointment. New Pool and equiptment... They were to service pool weekly... 85.00 a month. Thought it was OK until husband said he didnt think they were cleaning the filter on a weekly basis. Baskets were full and I would clean out between service. We opened filter and saw it needed cleaning which I did.. I did bring to attention of owner on a previous call that needed to make sure it was being done. He called back said checked with service guy and was told was being done.(salt indicater was frequenly saying no salt) fine they were given the heads up in January. Fast forward to MARCH I heard pump whine and shut off no water flow . cleaned baskets got it running and it was dead again on next day...Whine and shut down.. I inquired to the service when he came ..he skimmed pool didn't act concerned figured he was going to service the pool it was probably fine. Next day again NO FLOW ...I opened filter and it was packed 3 inches of crap. It hadn't been cleaned in a few months.I HAVE PICTURES of thiis diisgusting mess.. I called the company Ken said he was the owner told him I wanted him to come see this he said he wasnt on the area. Told him what happened said How do I know he has not been doing the filter if nobody tells him? WHAT!!!! This is the job ..Am I supposed to open my filter to follow up on thier service weekly ?

They are very good. They are prompt in calling back and are on time for appointments.

Very good and have talked to Jim several times. He is always helpful and comes every week to maintain pool

Jim clark has done work on my pool equipment on three occasions. The first time was through a contractor and the last two times, I contacted him directly. The only reason that I did not give him an "A" on price was that I did not contact any other contractors for comparison. I would not hesitate to call him again if the need arises
