We've been with them for probably 10 years. The service is fine. They are just expensive. Our internet is okay but could be a little bit better. They are very good at taking care of problems. I have never complained about a leap service. The service is good and if you have to make that better you have to pay for it.

I get a discount from them because their service stunk from the start. They did not come to my house. They sent me a package in the mail and I had to put it together myself. They are too expensive and have these stupid packages. You have to pick out what stations you like and then they will say I specific groupings. For each one of those little groupings you have to pay an exorbitant amount of money. For instance, there is one channel I wanted to get and I still don't have it because when I told them I wanted this channel she gave me the family package. I don't have a family. What I was getting were channels for young people which was not what I want. I wasn't getting any news channels so then I called them back and my price increased because I wanted to drop the one and add the other one. in order for me to get news I had to add another one and I get, like, five channels of news and I get all this cr*p TV. It is all junk. They lock you into a two year contract and I told them specifically I don't want a contract. They su*k.

I think it's okay. They do a good job. They generally were very polite on the phone. Sometimes, it's a matter of unclogging the box or whatever for the TV and put it back in. We've been happy with their service. As far as the service goes and their help over the phone, they've done quite well.
Description of Work: I have Verizon for my internet service. We have TV and the phone. We have all the kind of stuff all through the one company. My wife uses them for cellphone service. Four months ago, there was something that happened with the TV.

Since I got my first bill, the cost was extremely high as expected, but I think it should be around $156 for the bundle of three. What stands out the most about them is the pricing right now.

Description of Work: I called Verizon, at 800-837-4966, because they gave me a credit which they now refuse to honor. I called and spoke with a male who gave me an alternate phone number to call. I called 800-837-4966 and was placed on hold for 10 minutes, so I hung up. Then I called back 855-805-5200 (the sales department) and a spanish speaking man answered the phone and asked if I was the same prick that had called before. I disconnected with him and called 800-837-4966 and spoke with Karen, employee number KBF14, manager of sales and service, but she was of no help. She apologized for him calling me a curseword. I told her that this was not good enough and that I wanted to speak with someone else higher up than her. She told me that she was as high up as it gets, so I asked her if she owned Verizon. I have now reported them to the Better Business Bureau, and found that they had 3656 complaints filed against them in the New York Better Business Bureau office, which is the only office that takes Verizon complaints. I also filed a complaint with the FCC, attorney general, and public utility commision. When contacting the The public utility commision, the gentleman there told me that there were many other complaints about their representatives using profanity against customers. Not only were they rude people but they changed my plan around without my authorization and told me they would sue me if I break my contract.

They came out on time and did a trouble shoot and replaced the box in the garage. I got all my services back that were down.

They scheduled the call but there was a delay in the install date. The people who came to do the install were great. they got everything working and did it very quickly. They left their card so if we had any trouble, they said we could call them directly.

They're good on the high side of everything and I've had calls dropped and everything else so it's a balance, I guess. I talk to people everyday so I get the drop calls there. For the most part, they're good in everything except for the dropped calls. I've had Verizon for TV and internet but I was just recently in the storm because I was gonna cancel my phone for my foundation. The person there told me that the phone for my foundation is newer than the phone that I have so he said, "We'll take that number and cancel that and then we'll take everything on your phone and put it in the newer one." So they gave some good customer service.

I pay $150 for two phones and one of them is a Smartphone. The service has been pretty good. The customer service is okay. It is more in the knowledge of the people that I talk to as well as there might be not as quick turnaround of the solution. It hasn't been an issue with the cell phone. I used to have their internet and T.V. services as well as regular phone service and I was not happy with the customer service. I haven't had any problem with my cell phone service, so I really don't deal with them. My service has been fine. When I went to a store to purchase a phone that service was great.
Description of Work: Verizon is my cell phone service provider. I have unlimited data, text and phone.
