RockStone Interlocking Brick Pavers

I would not recommend this company. I called for a quote for 2 separate areas to complete my pool deck and add an extension to another side of my deck. Karina came over and took the measurements, asked a few questions and was gone within 6 minutes. She didn’t seem invested or interested but said she would get me a quote within a week. It has been almost three weeks now and I have not heard back from her. I don’t know if the job was to small or to complicated but I would have had no problem if she had just at least called or told me she wasn’t interested. Not to give a courtesy call or at least a text is very unprofessional and bad for business.. It’s to bad because I could have done more business with her as I have 3 more projects to do

Rock Stone Interlocking Pavers did an excellent job! Everything went smoothly from getting the estimate until project completion. Everyone was very professional and pleasant to work with. Karina did a fantastic job providing the estimates, assisting with paver selection, and answering all of our questions promptly. The installation crew started work on-time each day and worked hard all day. They did a great job cleaning up afterwards, too. We were extremely pleased they were able to complete the entire project in 4 days. We have had quite a few neighbors stop to tell us how nice the new pavers look.

Initially, I gave RockStone a bad review because there was a mixup in the time for their first appointment and the 2nd appointment they didn't come. However Wilson did call us later and apologized for missing the appointment. He said they had a truck breakdown. That seemed plausible to us so we are willing to give them a second chance and will review their estimate when it comes in. Wilson was very apologetic and helpful as he discussed our project with us.

The team did an excellent job! Karina worked with us on designing. She called Sunshine 811 (FL digsafe) to determine whether we have any wires in the backyard. As soon as the stones were delivered, it took the crew two days to finish the work. We called back and asked if they can do the sealing. A guy came next day and got it done! We paid $900 in addition which included the discount. The only thing they did not do is move the sprinklers. We had to call a Rainbird specialist to move and cap them. Overall, Karina, her husband and the team did an exceptional job! We enjoy our patio and will consider hiring them again if any additional work needs to be done.

Completely unresponsive and did not show for appointment or call when supposed to. They came very highly recommended but how can you use a company that is so totally unprofessional?

Karina was very helpful when we needed to replace our cracked river rock and kool deck surrounding our pool. She recommended the paver style which is very comfortable to walk on barefoot and suggested installing a 3" drain to replace the old 1" drain to correct a drainage problem. We requested adding 3 foot door pads, and she had no problem with having the screen doors adjusted to fit. The pavers arrived on schedule, and the crew arrived on time the next day as scheduled. On day one the old river rock and kool deck was jackhammered and hauled away. On day two the tile coping was removed, the deck leveled with sand and pitched for drainage, and the paver installation started. On day three the remaining pavers, new coping and door pads installed. Screen doors were adjusted to fit and entire area washed and sanded. Debris was removed. The only issue we had was with the white haze which developed on the coping pavers. I contacted Flagstone, the manufacturer, and they advised brushing the pavers with a mixture of muriatic acid and water (I used 8 cups water to 1 cup acid). The white haze is called efflorescence and is common in new pavers. After the second application, the haze is mostly gone. We are very happy with the new deck and the work done by Rockstone. It looks great, and we no longer have a drainage problem. The project was done in only three days. We highly recommend Rockstone Interlocking Brick Pavers.

Called Rockstone and the person who answered did not seem to know much about the company. She said she would have Karina call me back. Gave her my phone number and information. I did not receive a return call.

Karina was extremely helpful during the entire process. She helped us visualize the design, pick the materials, select the proper screen mesh,etc. Most importantly she set real expectations in terms of project timelines (related to county permits,etc). The project was on time, in fact it was ahead of schedule, as Karina accommodated our request to have everything completed before our daughter's birthday. Ronaldo and Karina went out of their way to make us feel at ease during the entire process.

We previously used Rockstone to install a Flagstone paver patio in a prior house in Riverview. It turned out great. Recently, we used Rockstone again for a new patio project. This time, we used a Tremron paver product. The new patio also turned out great. Installation was excellent with minimal destruction to our yard, even after a week of rain prior to installation. Our patio has received many compliments from neighbors and friends. We definitely recommend Rockstone.

We were pleased with Rockstone from beginning to end. Karina came out to measure and provide estimates for what we wanted. She scheduled a time and day, but were held up by rain. They knew we were having another company come (and had scheduled their work based on completion date of the driveway and walkway), so they made sure the work was done in a day to enable us to have the other work done as scheduled. We were pleased with the input and consideration given to us by Karina. When we asked for more sand to be used (the workers had worked a very long, hot, hard day to complete the work), Karina sent someone out the very next day to have that tended to. The worker sent out was very considerate, politie, and professional. We would use them again for future paving needs (and we have some) and would recommend their work to others. We have had many compliments on the work that was completed by Rockstone.

Very good quality and a lot of hard work. The price of this work was very high and after a delayed start (B on punctuality because of the delayed start and length of the project going beyond what was communicated) we were primed to not be satisfied, but this company worked so hard and did such a nice job we came a way saying it was worth it. Materials and colors are high quality and it looks beautiful. Fire pit and area was quick and looks great. What a wonderful space to enjoy and high quality work. Driveway looks good as well and went rather quickly. The stone facade took forever and left a mess, but this was not the guys' fault. The material chosen (one of the options given) was very labor intensive and caused them to hand cut nearly every piece. Very high quality stuff. The material also caused some visual gaps in the stone that they tried really hard to fill but it looks really good. The guys worked their butt off on the facade Saturdays and late into the evening. The driveway and firepit took about 4 days and the facade alone took another 5. The cutting also leaves rock dust everywhere, but they cleaned up pretty good and the rain took care of the rest. My only quality complaint is that some of the pavers near the entry are loose and move when you walk. We will have to put some more sand down. Even with this, the length of the project and the price, this company is clearly an A. Money well spent and really adds curb appeal and value to your home. We probably used every stone in the county, but if we ever have another project, we'd hire them in a snap. Would recommend as well.

Karina was great from beginning to end. She helped us in our selection of pavers - and was available whenever we had questions. She came to the house a few times before the project started to help us w/ some indecisions we had. The workers were all courteous & always showed up when promised.

Great job, beginning to end. Karina was helpful and knowledgeable when ordering. Crew was on time, hard working, pleasant. Neighbors stopped by to compliment the design, color, and how fast job was proceeding. I've already recommended the company to friends and neighbors. Posted on Facebook as job proceeded and received many positive comments. I plan on using Rock Stone Pavers later to pave the lanai.

From beginning to end we were very happy with Rockstone service. Their professionalism, punctuality and quality of work while at our property exceeded any and all expectations. Karina was wonderful to work with, and Ronaldo was present to supervise the work in progress, which demonstrates their interest in providing a beautiful and well done end result !! Highly recommend them as a company, and as very personable, dedicated, hands on and friendly business owners.

The owners of the company demonstrated the requisite knowledge and experience for this type of work and made many helpful suggestions. All work was performed in a very professional manner, on schedule and at the agreed price. The site was left tidy after the job was completed. We will likely use them for further projects.

From the beginning to the end, the work was reliable, quick and excellent.

Karina and Rinaldo, owners of Rockstone, made the entire experience of a major renovation pleasant and stress-free. Karina was excellent about returning calls promptly and accommodating about scheduling meetings for the estimate and selection of pavers. I really can't praise these two hard working people enough. Rinaldo came to our house one evening so my husband could meet with him after he got home from work. I also appreciated the fact that Rinaldo was on the scene inspecting the work and doing some of the work each day. They truly did all they could to make the entire process as easy as possible for us and most importantly, gained our trust. As for the install, again I have nothing but high regard for Rinaldo's choice in his workers. Everyone was pleasant, respectful, hardworking and pretty quiet amongst themselves. The team arrived at 7:30am and worked until 7:30pm for two days and came back on the third day from 7:30am until around 10:00am to finish and clean up. Everyone was very professional and considerate. The pool deck looks beautiful and I can't wait to have our "grand opening" pool party soon. We did get the customary "three estimates", the current advice for any home improvement. But I will tell anyone to save themselves the trouble and go with Rockstone Pavers. When we are financially ready to do our driveway I'll be calling them again. Thank you Karina and Rinaldo. Everything was exactly as promised. They were efficient. It was excellent work, good cleanup, and beautiful.

It went very well. They were very clean and did exactly what we hired them to do. They were great about answering all my questions and making sure I knew exactly what was going on. They really made sure the job was done right.
