Basically we had purchased a bucket of chlorine from them, like 2 weeks before, and then we went back they told us it had a leak, but it was the bucket that they had just sold us 2 weeks before. Basically they wanted to charge us for a new bucket and were pretty unprofessional when my husband said wait we just purchased this from you.

Don and his staff at Pinch a Penny are great to work with. They do outside service and our my sole pool maintenance source. They are prompt, courteous and very professional. Best of all, they are honest and only do the work necessary to fix your problem and make sure you are satisfied.

I hired Pinch a Penny to perform the weekly chemical service on my pool. The person performing the service was constantly late by a day or few. I then started noticing streaks in my new pool finish. I called the company that re-finished the pool and the owner came out to take a look. He tested the water, and found the stabilizer level at a rediculous level. Even when mixing the pool water 50/50 with tap water, it still was over 100 for stabilizer. The norm is 30-80. Since the stabilizer level is the cause of damage to the finish, my warranty is no longer good. The company that re-finished my pool is going to fix the "modeling" (term for the streaks) free of charge, but my warranty is now void. I called the person in charge of the service at Pinch a Penny. He was very argumentative and changed his story. He kept saying that they did not add stabilizer to my pool, but also stated that they add the chlorine pucks to the pool. Those pucks contain over 50% stabilizer. He kept saying that is is not their fault, even though I hired them to maintain the chemical levels. DO NOT TRUST THE BRANDON PINCH A PENNY TO MAINTAIN YOUR POOL!

Did not call before coming as was told he would do. Could not fix the G4 said he does not carry the parts. Now I will have to take it to the store to get it fixed.

The customer service section was a big help in making my decision purchasing the Great White automatic pool cleaner. Everything I wanted to know was answered with absolute professionalism.
