Description of Work: I had a salesman come to my home to have a tree trimmed, Gary Kerchner. We paid him a $300 deposit and he gave us a contract for Brothers Tree Service. When we spoke with Richard at Brothers, he informed us that he never agreed to do the work, and that he doesn't work with Gary. He informed us that he personally comes out to do a estimates, not using a salesman. Due to this fraudulent activity of Gary giving a contract for a business that he's not affiliated with, Richard directed us to inform every resource possible. To this date, Gary has been unresponsive and refused to give our $300 back. Also, when I tried to call the number for Picasso Tree Service, it's Gary's number, however, he's also running under multiple different business names.

They removed the stumps and removed one very large black ear tree but left a small citrus tree and a weeping willow at the waters edge. The limbs from the very large tree were thrown into the lake in the backyard. We called them to come back out and Tony was very argumentative as soon as he arrived. He shouted at my mother-in-law and refused to talk anyone else. They finally did go in the water and found most of the tree had been disposed of in the lake. They refused to cut the stump to the ground as the contract stated but did finally take out the two remaining trees. After contacting the Better Business Bureau, State Attorney's office and several other agencies, they finally came out and cut the stump to an agreed upon height.
Description of Work: These people were contracted by my in-laws to have several trees and stumps removed from their property.

While in town visiting my in-laws we came into this whole mess. The large tree trunk pieces and limbs were thrown into the lake behind the house instead of being hauled off. We had to make numerous calls to get the stump and stump left from cutting the citrus tree down cut to ground level. The Willow tree was finally removed when they came back to take the timber out of the water. Tony did come back and cut the additional 12" off the large tree, but it has been 6 weeks since I started calling and 12 weeks after the contract was written. A certified letter of Contract Default was sent but Tony has moved from the address on his contract. His salesman is to blame for most of this. Tony Constable had to be turned in to the BBB, reported to the Attorney General and Consumer Protection Agency before he would complete the contract as written. Tony has a temper and needs to work on his customer relation skills. He is a hard worker and worked over the weekend to finish the job. He finally did come back on a Saturday evening to cut the stump to the flare roots.
Description of Work: A first contract was to top and shape a very large Black Ear tree at the second forks, cut to ground level a dead citrus tree, cut to ground level a Weeping Willow (at water's edge) and cut an old citrus stump to ground level. To confuse everything a second contract was drawn up on 3/1/10 to cut Black Ear tree to flare roots and again to cut Willow tree near the water to bank. Both contracts included removal of all debris.

They were not customer focused - they were always right and I was never right. Work was delayed several days from the start date I was given.
Description of Work: They thinned out a couple of oak trees for us. They were supposed to do some work on an orange tree we had in the back yard but they 1) misrepresented what they would be doing with the orange tree, 2) had no knowledge of fruit trees, and 3)were argumentative and confrontational.
