I have used them for years to snake from the roof because of build up in old lines, literally four or five years twice a year. I called them to diagnose and fix the underlying problem, and they called me weeks later to schedule the appointment, and then didn't show up and never called. The lady that answers the phone has a real evangelical, condescending vibe, you can tell she thinks she is the center of the universe and doesn't care about anyone else. They are a half *** company that does poor work, and are incapable of actually diagnosing and fixing real problems, they just want to cash checks and move one. Garbage plumbers.

Contacted them about a problem with my water softener (not softening) and was assured on the phone that their technician was qualified to repair it. Technician came out, looked at it for a little while, tested the water, and agreed that it wasn't working properly and needed repair, suggested it could be a leak in the bypass valve, and suggested that I call the mfg. Then charged me $115 for the service. I called a different company the next day, they charged me $95 to diagnose and repair it (a valve was clogged with pipe dope).

Whatever I had were always emergencies and they were always here. I've had them many times. They repaired my water heater, they do my faucets, they came on a Sunday when my husband drilled a hole in a water pipe. I didn't have a problem with it any more, it was fixed.

One seemed to run about two weeks after being fixed I called and they were out that morning. The flapper valve chain link had been caught-clipping it again which solved the problem. I was ready to buy 2 new toilets as two other plumbers had been out and the fix never worked for long. This is the reason for the delay in my review. They have worked perfectly.

[Member Name Removed], Apologies for not responding but please let me explain in hopes of giving better customer service than Angie's List does. Apparently Angie's list only sends out notifications upon a completed review, NOT a request for service by a member. As we are not members, we do not get a notification. It is funny that they call all the time asking us to sign up for their service w/fee of course, they just wont contact us letting us know one of their own members sent us a request. If you would like to call the office, we would be happy to assist. Additionally thank you for bringing this to our attention as it looks like several others have sent messages via Angie's :List that we havnt received either, I will follow up with them now to apologize for the poor notification in service.

I would recommend this company, very professional and price was right. We had them put in a filtration system for us and had other companies give us quotes, but this company had the best price and did a great job. The tech was nice and explained everything and when my husband had other questions we called him and he answered them. I would use them again.

Graham the technician was more than punctual, professional, and personable. The work was top notch and the billing was more than fair. I have rarely been this pleased with any kind of service call from any trade. I wish I could write more but there is nothing more that would show how pleased I am. Even the office personnel were very prompt in returning my phone message which was left before business hours. It was returned within two minutes after their opening time. I noticed the leak the morning of October 21, 2014. I called a few plumbing companies, but none could make it until the next day. Gideons and Greco gave a time estimate of 3:30 - 6:00 that afternoon. I got a call about 3:30, and the plumber showed up about 10 minutes later. I asked for an estimate, and he said it shouldn't be more than $200. I was taken a little aback because the leak looked easy to fix and that seemed a bit high, but it had to be fixed. The job was completed about 40 minutes later, and the charge was $118. So, I'm happy.
Description of Work: There was a leak in the above ground part of the main water supply to the house.

Arrived as expected. Friendly and went right to work once job was defined. Finished in about an hour and cleaned up 100% to my satisfaction. Good price, good service and now my recommended local plumber should anyone ask for one. Will definately do business with this firm again.

It went very well. I ordered some parts and they installed. They allowed me a cheaper route by letting me order the parts myself. Gram was very nice, so I asked him back.

They were very responsive. When I explained that a small amount of water was running continuously they booked the first appointment for the following day.

I have several large Oak Trees, and a septic tank. The roots from the trees grow into my drain pipes. I hired another plumbing company before these guys. They charged me 400.00, and 3 months later, the drain stopped up again. They fixed it, but tried to charge me another 200.00! I refused to pay them, and called Gideons and Greco Plumbing. The drains have been free of tree roots over 3 years now, because they took the time to do the job right.

They are very nice. Several other people have had them out to do similar problems that I had and they paid more than I did. If I ever had a problem I will just call the office and talk to the owner and sometimes I was right and sometimes they were right. There are times that I didn't agree, but I always agreed when we were done.

Excellent company for service and repairs.
Description of Work: I have used this company for more than twenty five years and have never had a complaint. They have always provided timely service and answered many questions regarding caring for my septic system. I have used them for my rental properties and a condo that I lived in that the toilet flapper I had replaced caused an overflow in my bathroom upstairs. I was told by the service tech not to use the red flappers as they were very cheap and would not last due to the chlorinated water. It causes them to deteriorate too quickly which caused my problem of the overflowing. They also told me to use single layer toilet paper upstairs as thicker paper sticks in the pipes and will cause back ups. I have never had a back up since then. I would highly recommend this company and will call them whenever I need repairs.

We had a plubing leak in our 2nd bathroom and needed to get it fixed as soon as possible. It was Sunday afternoon and we were able to get in touch with Gideons and Greco right away and they responded to our house within an hour. They were able to get the job completed and get our water back on in about 45 minutes.
