Dynamic Roofing Concepts

I am very impressed with the way this company scheduled, carried out and followed up on the work. I had to accelerate my plan to replace my old roof early this (2021 year) when it started to leak during the storm in November. I had planned to ask Dynamic Roofing Concepts to carry out that routine replacement because the company had replaced a flat roof for me in 2019 and did a splendid job, and I’d contacted the company and received an estimate and very helpful explanation about my options from Joshua. When the roof started to leak, I emailed Joshua in a panic, and he helpfully replied and set things in motion to move the job up on the calendar. Responding to me during the storm was above and beyond any routine service commitment. The job was scheduled soon after my call. (I got someone to put a tarp over the leak in the meantime.) The workers arrived as planned as did the person delivering the materials and everything was efficiently unloaded and work proceeded systematically. My request that they not play radios was honored. All the old materials were put in a dumpster in the driveway, and before they left, the workers cleaned up every bit of debris from the yard. They did not damage a single plant. Someone collected the dumpster in less than two days. The roofing installation actually was finished in one day. It passed the county’s inspection on the first visit. Dynamic Roofing Concepts offered me warranty options and arranged for an independent company to do a Wind Mitigation inspection and send me a report for my insurance company. When I had questions about these matters, owner Colin Clark always answered my email messages and phone calls and provided helpful answers. I could not have asked for a better experience with this roof replacement.

Within 3 to 4 weeks post roof replacement, there was leaking again in the *very same area-the master bathroom shower.* I contacted Mr. Clark to inform him of the unresolved roof leak into the master bathroom, to which he replied that the “dead valley is a problem prone area” and stated he would send his worker to repair it. A couple of weeks passed, and I had not been contacted by anyone to arrange for repairs. I again called Mr. Clark, and he stated that Mario (his supervisor at the time) had already done the repair a week prior-good to know. I suspect that all Mario did was apply roof cement to the area and with time and the elements it degraded. Regrettably, I did not submit a review at that time. Fast forward to August 2019, I noticed the ceiling in the master bathroom shower had new water stains. This time, I contacted GAF and filed a claim. Following the roof inspection required by GAF, their field Inspector Virgil reported the following to the GAF Sr. Claims Analyst, he indicated that the “*base flashing was not adhered to the parapet and that is what caused the leak.” *GAF contracted with Dynamic Roofing Concept (DRC) to make the repairs. Shortly thereafter, I was contacted by Kevin from DRC, he stated he could come by and repair the roof. I grilled him on what his process was to ensure that this problem would be resolved once and for all as this was the *second time* the roof leaked since they had replaced it. He assured me that “he does this kind of work all the time” and I would not experience any future problems after they were done repairing it. The workers did make the repairs on Sept 23, 2019. I was cautiously optimistic that the repairs were done properly this time. My worst fears were confirmed on Oct 19, 19 when it started raining, the water was pouring into the light fixture, saturating the ceiling, I had to punch holes in it for the water to escape before the ceiling caved in, see video. The roof leak was actually worse after Kevin and his crew made the repairs. Attached are pictures from DRC Sept 23, 19 roof repair and Oct 19, 19 videos of shower enclosure leaking in real time. Once again, I contacted GAF’s claim department to report that the repairs done by Dynamic Roofing Concept workers on Sept 23, 2019 was a *total failure *and subsequently the interior damage was now significantly worse than before. She advised that the Field Inspector would have to come out again to inspect the roof, she reopened the claim. During the Field Inspector’s evaluation, I discussed what was his assessment; he communicated that the repairs that DRC was paid to do were in fact not done correctly as he effortlessly started lifting shingles; he was visibly upset and stated he would be speaking with Mr. Clark, (I am not aware of the particulars of this conversation and if it occurred.) I then informed the inspector that DRC was fired and I would not allow GAF to contract with them for this repair. It was fairly evident that they were incapable of properly repairing this roof and they would not have a *fourth opportunity* to do so. The excuse that “the dead valley is a problem prone area” is fruitless, and did not exist prior to 2013. What adds insult to injury was that not once has Mr. Clark contacted this former customer to “own it”, nor apologize for the inconvenience and damage caused. A business owner should not only be enthusiastic to gain new business, but demonstrate the same level of responsiveness when there are problems with workmanship. GAF then contracted with Millard Roofing Company, they were professional and timely, their crew spent an entire day fixing that area of the roof. To date, it appears that the roof no longer leaks but they advised to wait for a heavy rain before interior repairs were done. Having a roof leak occur twice in the same area after an entire roof replacement can be a possibility. A roof continuing to leak in the same area a third time is indicative of a contractor not adhering to quality standards. Had I not had the insight to purchase the GAF warranty, I would have had to spend thousands of dollars to repair a roof that had been newly installed* just six years prior*. I never expected perfection, however, my expectation was that upon hiring DRC, the roof replacement done by them would have corrected the very issue that they were contracted for to fix. Now, I have to incur unknown expenses to replace a damaged ceiling as interior damages are not covered by GAF’s warranty; the entire ceiling in the shower has to be removed and replaced. The countless hours of my personal time, loss of work time, and frustration regarding this situation is costly at best, not to mention the future expenses of replacing the ceiling.

Everything went very well. I was treated courteously when I called the company to ask for an estimate, and Joshua kept the scheduled appointment I’d set up for the following week. He inspected the roof carefully and explained how they would replace the old flat roof and helpfully recommended adding a pitched structure to facilitate drainage. I was impressed at how important he found it to provide me with updated (for 2019) information about the company’s insurance and making sure that I knew my rights as a consumer. Joshua told me that Colin would call me the following week to schedule the work. Colin called exactly as promised, and the workers arrived on the scheduled day exactly as promised. They worked all day, and they had indeed coordinated with the county for the first inspection so that the work could proceed on schedule. They also displayed the permit they had obtained prominently and accessibly. They were very neat, discarding material into the dumpster that had been delivered and that was taken away the next day. I’m impressed at how the Company handled a minor problem with the final inspection, which found that the vent pipe was not quite the regulation 6 inches above the roof. Colin came out personally to double check on it, and he scheduled workers to come within a few days and fix it. They did so, and it passed final inspection as the inspector could come back. Eva followed up helpfully by sending me a pdf of my invoice, marked “paid.” And she had communicated with my email about the process throughout. This company is a model of professionalism and courtesy. I am very glad that I hired them for this work.

They completed job on time and although there was addition cost because of rotted plywood, it was out of their control until they pulled the shingles off. Always followed up on project everyday and did a great clean up.

Wow, what a great company. Blake and Josh came to the house on time. Worked up quote on the spot. We signed contracts with Colin the owner. Very easy no hassels. Then as promissed they qeued us for fast service. While they were putting on the roof, it rained really hard and the guys tarpped the roof and finished the roof the next day. I had included 2 solatubes to get installed and they put them into the roof, but told me I needed to finish the cutting into the ceiling and installing the tubes. My overall experience is I would highly recommed this company.

They did an excellent job. Had the old roof removed and the new one in place in two days including the clean-up. I was impressed with the quality of work and the professionalism of the workmen. I had a leak that occurred after the warranty has expired, and Collin had his guys came out and investigate. It turned out not to be related to the roof replacement but with the chimney. Dynamic Roofing fixed the leak and even though it was after the warranty had expired, they did not charge for it. I highly recommend them.

Dynamic Roofing Concepts were professional, knowledgeable and courteous from the initial sales consultation through the installation process. My existing roof was removed (shingles and underlayment) and a new roof installed in 2 days (shingles and underlayment). After completing the reroof they insured that the property was cleaned up. Roof came out awesome. Workers were there at the crack of dawn until 6pm. Polite and courteous and explained every question I had. Cleanup was great. Doley and his crew did an outstanding job. Chris the sales rep gave an outstanding presentation and provided everything up front which made the decision a lot easier and the estimate was spot on with no additional costs. Highly recommend

Had our roof replaced by Dynamic in 2012. They were great and I recommended them then wholeheartedly then. Last week I found what I thought was a dislodged shingle in our yard. After Irma I was worried that one had blown loose. Although our warranty had expired Kyle from Dynamic came out and walked the roof several times and gave me the assurance I needed that this was just an extra shingle left behind. From Eva on the phone to Colin the owner to Kyle the whole thing took up ten minutes of my time and made me feel so assured that I had a quality company backing me up. I’m so happy they have done so well since 2012. Use them folks you won’t regret it!

We were very impressed with this company. Chris the sales representative was very good on explaining what type of material they used and answered all our questions. They have a good crew, they know their jobs and do it great. We are very pleased with the job and would recommend them to anyone that wants a good job.

Complete roof replacement job was done very well, start to finish. One issue we had was a communication mix-up between some of the workers involving the replacement of some fascia wood, but the wood was replaced. And we did have some minor damage to the garage door and a window screen, which the owner offered to fix for us at no charge. Shingles are high quality. Everyone was very professional and the job was done in a timely manner. We paid for the roof ourselves and purchased the GAF roof system with the 50-year warranty (no fraudulent insurance charges after the hurricane because we had no damage.) We would definitely recommend!

After researching a number of roofing contractors I contacted Dynamic Roofing Concepts based on their Better Business Bureau rating and Angie's List reviews. Their roofing consultant, Chris Fanni, came out to take a look and developed an estimate that turned out to be spot on. He also left a package for our review that contained warranty options and shingle choices. We decided to hire them. Their team showed up on time and completed the job when promised. They thoroughly cleaned up the yard. I'm a tough customer to satisfy. I am totally satisfied and highly recommend this company.

What a great company! Chris was great to deal with. All it took was one conversation and he took care of everything else. The guys did a great job. I have a large roof but it only took them 2 days to finish. I was also impressed by how clean they were throughout the process. I can't say enough good things. I will recommend Dynamic to everyone. Great communication from our sales guy Chris Fanni. Everything started on time and went according to the schedule. I even got up on the roof when they finished to look at the work and was happy with the work done. I would recommend them to anyone.

The crew showed up as planned the first day and stripped off the old roof, fan, and stack. Some wood was needed to cover the two holes where the fan and stack were, then the roof was weathered in. A second day was needed to install the shingles. The crew was punctual and polite, and did a good job of cleaning up. I've had a good rain since then, and there are no leaks.

I received 5 quotes from recommended/5-star rated roofing companies. Of the 5, Dynamic Roofing's service and warranty was 1 of the lowest quotes I received, but what set them apart from the rest was the presentation from Chris F. He was very knowledgeable of what was needed and what they offered, as well as answering every question/concern I threw at him! Once we secured financing, Chris was able to get us scheduled within a week! The crew did a great job and start to finish it only took 3 days. I was very pleased with the entire process and have already recommended this roofing company to 3 other friends/family.

Made it through Hurricane Irma with no damage. Cleaned up after completion of Job. Additional cost to replace damaged wood was minimal. I did not have any issues with the crew.

They were very good. I was out of town and they came right out and put a tarp over it. They came back and gave me a quote. Great service at a time I really needed someone to be there. The sales guy was Brad. He was great, super friendly, professional,courteous and dependable. I am thankful they were there. I will use them again. They will be the first people I call.

Went very well. They were competitively priced, very accommodating to my short time-frame needs and responsive and helpful during the whole process. Also, they cleaned up well at the end of the job. The roof looks great.

As the job progressed, Chris was quick to respond with answers to all of our questions or concerns. The installation crew worked quickly and efficiently and cleaned up the mess to even our standards. After completion, Colin, the owner stopped by to inspect the job and inquiry as to our satisfaction. Dynamic Roofing deserves a 5 star rating for several reasons, integrity, professionalism, timeliness in completion of the job despite several days of rain, honesty and price. Well done!
