The process was filled with incompetence and frustration. The shutters were ordered on 3/4/2010. We were told by Kayla Dwyer (Sales & Development Manager) that it would take two weeks from "measuring" to "installation". Three weeks later we called; Kalya had transferred and no one knew about our order. We had difficulty getting someone to take ownership of the order.. The order finally arrived on 4/17 and we had to "pay before delivery" since the installer was not an employee. During installation the shutters were absolutely dirty so the installer suggested that they be returned, not installed. It took several more weeks to have them cleaned and installed. However during this installation, one slat was discovered to be broken and one shutter didn't fit even though the order reflected the correct measurements. The installer returned the wrong sized shutter and told us that the store would reorder it. After not hearing the status after 2.5 weeks, the Manager told me he had no idea there was a problem. Needless to say the process that should have been 2 - 3 weeks stretched out approximately 3 months!
Description of Work: Ordered & had 3 shutters installed for the dining room.

I had a difficult time getting someone from the company to come to my home to do measurements for a sliding door, so we did them ourselves. They have a very nice showroom with a wide selection. I chose a pair of blinds and had them installed. Soon afterwards, the slats started breaking and falling off. We went to the store and they gave us some clips to put on the slats so they would hold. Then the pieces that hold the blinds (in the sliding mechanism) started breaking. The company says the blinds have a warranty, but evidently, not all parts have a warranty. I will soon replace them again and find a better quality of blinds. The blinds we replaced lasted 11 years without any problems, but these started breaking soon after we installed them. $100 seems cheap for a pair of blinds, though - we got what we paid for, I guess.
Description of Work: I bought a pair of vertical blinds from this company.
