"While a few small things in the review were correct, most of what the customer commented on was incorrect or conveyed inaccurately. We strive for high customer satisfaction and do everything we can to make the customer happy. We are all human and can make mistakes from time to time, it is how you go about correcting the mistakes that sets you apart. We went above and beyond in trying to make the customer happy, which included offering a partial refund, to which the customer would not return calls or texts. They instead opted to take to the internet to slander and libel our company reputation which is stellar on every internet site we are on. The customer mentioned our "pretty good reviews" on Home Advisor. We have a 4.71 star rating out of 5.0, with Home Advisor saying, "You've reached elite status! Your reviews show you do superior work. Let customers know by displaying this exclusive honor." You can't judge a company on 1 bad review with a disgruntled customer who was very cynical, rude and difficult to work with although we made every effort. We worked with the customer from the very first meeting at the free estimate. They weren't happy with the price of the initial cleaning, so we gave them $25 off. They weren't happy with the price for bi-weekly cleaning, so we gave them $15 off the regular price - all without diminishing our quality of work, hence the 5 hours of work the customer mentioned. The customer also failed to mention that they added on extra rooms that were not originally agreed upon but nevertheless, we tried to accommodate in order to maintain our high customer satisfaction. Keep in mind that we have 1 and 2 person crews and informed this customer of such and which they were in agreement with and fine with that decision. If a 2 person crew would have been requested, then we would have happily accommodated. The work in the bathroom/bedroom that took 2 hours was correct but due to the fact that there was so much mold in the majority of the grout lines as well as all the caulk of the shower. The shower was cleaned on the initial cleaning as well but sometimes when showers have not been maintained, it will take us 2-3 cleanings to get them up to our standards. We stand by our cleaning specialists and know they would not spend 2 hours cleaning a bathroom/bedroom so they wouldn't have to clean the rest of the house. We find that statement to be offensive and totally inaccurate. In summary, this customer is one of the customers that businesses would rather let go because no matter what you do, how much you try to give them, all the efforts made to make them happy, including offering refunds and time spent trying to reach them, it is apparent you will never make them happy."
