We were referred to this moving company from the auction seller. We paid for the item to be moved on 5/6/2014. We received this confirmation email on 5/6/2014: Dear customer, We just wanted to let you know that we have recorded payment for this quote and that we are now in the process of scheduling this shipment. You can track the progress of your shipment by visiting our home page at (left blank) and putting your quote number (XXXXXX) into the "track a shipment" box on the right side of the page. Alternatively, you can get the same information by calling 888-219-6054 and then choosing option 1. It can take some time after receiving payment for the tracking information to be filled in, so please be patient with us as we schedule this shipment. Sincerely, Your TSC Moving Team 5/6/14 - I responded to TSC MOVING and stated 'no hurry on the shipping as I did not need the item until the end of June.' I had mistakenly thought this was a legitimate freight shipping company that was retrieving the item right away.. Here is copy of my email to them on 5/6/14: On Tue, May 6, 2014 at 5:04 PM, you wrote: Dear TSC Moving, I am in no hurry on item fyi. I won't be using until end of June. On 5/28 the auction seller contacted us and stated no one had picked up the item. On 5/29, we received an email from seller stating the item had just been picked up but the TSC person handling such said the item would be shipped directly to Dallas. 6/11 - called to inquire to status of shipment. No return call. 6/12 - contacted TSC Moving and got no response. 6/13 contacted TSC Moving again and finally spoke to someone who said their rep would call me back that day. No one ever called. 6/14 - spoke to their rep and he explained the item was in Atlanta and was waiting on a truck to come to Dallas but first it would stop in four other cities and the best they could do was July 5 or later. i explained that was not what was agreed and they said i should have reviewed the offer quote and NO TIMES WERE GUARANTEED and that they typically take 4 - 6 weeks. I showed them we were already at that timetable and they said again, sorry but you can come pick it up in our warehouse in Atlanta if you want.. i explained i was in Dallas again and this item was critically needed for a commercial installation. They said they would get back to me. 6/17 - received this email from them three days later: From: Tsc Moving <info@tscmoving.com> Date: June 17, 2014 at 4:43:21 PM CDT To: XXXXXXXXXXXXX Subject: Re: COMMUNICATION REGARDING 164588 Hello XXXXXXXXXXXXXX, I apologize for the delay in getting back to you today. I checked our records concerning a time line or deadline and I was not able to see anything in the e-mail communication. If this was an oversight I apologize. Your delivery is scheduled between 6/30 and 7/5. This is the soonest that the delivery can be made as we have no other truck or trip scheduled before then. Sincerely, Wayne TSC Moving Manager 6/17: I responded that was unacceptable and we had to have the item and they should use another carrier to transport our item. 6/20 - received this email... We have given you the time line for the delivery of your item. There was no record that you had a deadline or that a deadline for delivery was ever given to TSC Moving. If you are unwilling to wait for the delivery of your item you are welcome to have your item picked up from our warehouse in Atlanta. 6/20 - I responded I would take all action to recovery the property as other Internet searches on their company reputation gave me great concern. I pleaded with them to delivery the item to another shipping company and transport it to Dallas. 6/21 - received this email again. Your delivery will take place as previously stated. If you wish to pick up your item from our warehouse before it is loaded for transport then please let us know. TSC Moving 6/25 - Their website access to me has been blocked. When I track the item I get the following response: Tracking information for Quote #XXXXXXXXXX . This shipment is currently in transit. The delivery is planned between June 25th and July 10th ** Dates and times given reflect our best current estimate and are subject to change. Once our schedule is set for a given trip, you will receive an email asking for confirmation of the scheduled day and time. This generally occurs 3-5 days before the actual arrival date. SYNOPSIS: Basically, TSC MOVING gives you a quote, takes your money and then delivers whenever they have trucks going your direction DO NOT DO BUSINESS with them if you expect delivery on time, or expect to actually speak to a person who will help you resolve issues. One last thing - the owner of company emailed me to offer me a " 30% discount on the shipping" as if that would resolve their inability to meet my timetable.
Description of Work: TSC Moving consigned to pick up and deliver an auction house item (ebay) from Monticello Indiana to Dallas Tx. We initiated and paid for service with them on 5/6/14. We are still waiting on item 6/25/2014.

In their agreement, it says if they break antique or vintage furniture they will repair it. Once it is replaced the value goes down. They state that they won't compensate the value that has been lost after that repair. If they repair it to 100% in their thinking, as a buyer you have to accept it. They destroyed the mirror, the side is hanging off and there are scratches on the side. They didn't even take it off the truck it was so badly damaged. If it is beyond repair, they will pay me for the price of the bar and the shipping. The damaged the small antique bar they broke. I really want my money back for the bar and the shipping. They are making me wait for their people to evaluate the damage before letting me know what is going to happen with my antique bar or refund. This is their policy in Bradenton, Fl which is the location I am going through.
Description of Work: I paid them to ship me my antique furniture. I asked the seller initially to keep it because I was having some work done in my basement and didn't want it to arrive in middle of that work being done.

The mover was running late. He arrived, and he told me he would have to take my items down to the truck, which was illegally parked, and wrap them in the truck. I was made to wait an entire month for delivery, and this is how I found my items: The metal wall sculpture was bent, as if someone had placed it on its side, and then stepped on it. My favorite silk plant had a limb torn from it, as if someone dragged it by the limb. Two of the lampshades were crushed. They were packed in a too small box, with blankets just bunched around them. At that time the delivery person called the company and took photos. I expressed that I would like to hold onto the items, and receive payment for the repair. The man told me that they would get back to me. I was waiting for a second delivery, and a few days in advance they called me and told me that they were going to take the damaged items back to their warehouse, to determine whether they could be repaired or replaced. I said I would allow it. The items sat in their warehouse for over a month, I had to keep asking for the status, which no one knew. I was finally advised that they could not be fixed. They sat there for all that time, and I'm sure they were forgotten about, and nobody wanted to be bothered to have them fixed. They are going to send me the money to repair/replace the items, which I cannot get back until another month, because the truck going to Florida left two days ago. Frustrating. The company did take the time and effort to settle this problem properly, and I am satisfied.
Description of Work: He was contracted to move from New York City to Delray Beach Florida 5 lamps, 2 tables, 4 large silk plants, a large metal wall sculpture (signed artist), a dish cabinet (was grandmother's).

Great job delivering my table from FL to TX. I communicated with them all along the way to ensure that I would be available on my delivery date or make arrangements for someone else to be available. I will use them again.
Description of Work: I recently used TSC Moving to deliver an antique console bought in Florida and delivered to my door in Texas. They are a great company that communicates with you all the way. TSC gives you a quote in a quick and timely manner which is always helpful if you are bidding on Ebay or other auction sites and need to know quickly how much it will cost to deliver an item. I have used TSC twice before, earlier this year and once or twice last year to deliver chairs and tables. Great company!!Works well with customers.

On Easter, I was rushed to the hospital with a ruptured appendix and was hospitalized in ICU following surgery for over a week. Due to this, I had to ask this company to please postpone moving my items until I was home and a bit stronger. They agreed. As I had paid them in excess of $1200, and trusted their services as they had been recommended by the seller, I trusted them. I only became upset when I asked when our furniture would be delivered. They said due to my postponement, that they would not be able to deliver my items until late September, 2011. I told them it was not acceptable and requested a full refund. They said they would. What a shock to find that they, after waiting a full week for my refund, sent me a notice that they had not only deducted a $30 cancellation fee (which I really do not have a problem with), HOWEVER!!, they also deducted an additional 10% cancellation fee, therefore charging me approximately $200 for a policy that I was never made aware of. Their response to that was this, "It cannot be expected that we explain all details of the terms and conditions over the phone, nobody would want to listen to all that in the first place." Also,they claim they will match or beat anyone's price - which is not true. They refused to beat two other quotes I had, but because my seller recommended them - I continued to give them the benefit of the doubt. Wrong, very wrong on my part. Extremely wrong and unprofessional on their part.

Kind enough by email. Cheap as can be but chair arrived covered only in a filthy cloth. Not padded. For shrinkwrapped. Not furniture wrapped not even wrapped in a mover's blanket in a RENTAL VAN. Heed the words of this online compalint at http://www.ripoffreport.com/furniture-furnishings/ts-and-company-gaine/ts-and-companyts-and-company-8abpd.htm and mine adn DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. The chair has a delicate seagrass exterior. It arrived snagged up on 2 out of 3 of its back sides. I stipulated in my move request.... I want to make SURE you see this chair has NOT a dent nor ding on its corners, legs (distressed look) nor anywhere else and I want to keep it like that. I provided pictures. Ludger claims it was all damaged when they picked it up. THEN to PROTECT themselves like Craters & Freighters and Moover INC, THEY should have taken pictures of the item and contacted me with that proof before leaving with it. THAT is what expert reputable moving companies do because they don't want you blaming them for damages. If you want to claim the SELLER'S PICTURES hid the truth then as a mover I would have taken my own before moving the item an inch. The SELLER certainly did not cover it in a dirty cloth and put it in a rental van. No that's not a moving company requirement but IT IS a moving company DO that is smart to do to CYA. I've showed him the BEFORE and AFTER pictures and they claim the chair is in the same condition in both and that they did nothing wrong. I've submitted a formal BBB complaint as the BBB had given them a very nice grade. One they don't deserve.
