These guys did a great job for a great price. They left everything clean and went above and beyond the scope of work. Yet another great Angie's list experience.

From the original visit for the estimate, to a secondary visit to measure for the crane that was necessary, to the actual removal of the tree, this service provider is excellent. They arrived on time, and were very personable and professional throughout the day. This was not an easy removal since the tree had to be cut in sections and then transported over the house by the crane. All of the crew (5) worked together to ensure that the removal was done safely and efficiently. The tree was run through a chipper in the front yard and when they were done with cleanup you wouldn't have know what had transpired during the day. I would highly recommend Terry's Tree Service without reservation for small and large jobs. I fully intend to use them in the future.

As always Terrys tree service crew showed up on time and there were no surprises; professional work, cleaned up all debris & trimmed up all palms. This is the 2nd time we have hired this company and have been equally impressed each time. Travis & crew are courteous and respectful of our & our neighbors property. They even removed some railroad ties that were unearthed during the job without additional charge to save me the trrouble.and expense. Wow you don't find customer service like that every day!!!. I was surprised when they were able to stump/root grind enough to be able to plant a palm in the same location where last year a 3 story ficus stood. Will hire again. Love the Angies list discount as well

They were awesome! We were so pleased with them. They were very, very nice and very professional. I would recommend them to anybody and I would use them again. They were starting to do the work and they did a lot and then it looked like it was going to rain. Even though they were so busy, they came the next day and completed the job. They were really good. I think they did great. We really liked Terry, the owner. He was really good. I think the price was reasonable. There were 7 oak trees and I did a lot of research on the internet. I had another person and I didn't like him because he sounded like he just wanted to cut it where Terry's Tree Service are arborists and they did selective cutting. They think about what would be best for the tree to keep it healthy. They put a lot of time into it. Terry did a very thorough job, and they cleaned up after themselves. Their responsiveness was very good. They answered all the questions and they were very knowledgeable. I had a good feeling about them because I read their whole profile on the internet. I did a lot of research on them. I liked each individual. I think they are all knowledgeable in what they do. We were very pleased. He was here on time and very prompt. I think they were very professional. If I ever need any tree people come back, I am definitely going to have them.They are honest, reliable, dependable, and trustworthy. I really like them a lot.

I would highly recommend this company. I'd never heard of them before, and found them using Angie's List. They were responsive and professional. They did what they said they would do. Their estimate was competitive. The workers were all polite and clean. They did a great job-exactly what was asked of them. Since I was having a root excavation (root pruning) done, they called ahead and had all of the service companies visit our house ahead of time and mark out the underground wires. Very professional. The Angie's List discount is real too. Once they gave the quote, they didn't hesitate to take the additional 10% off (Angie's list promotion). Excellent.

After getting 3 estimates, we chose Terry's tree service, based on the company's professionalism and competitive price. Three people arrived at the designated date and time. They worked as a team, cutting and trimming trees and bushes. They Left our property clean. Efficient.

Excellent workers--------- cleaned up after themselves, spoke clear English, professional attitude and appearance, hard working. Not the cheapest quote but I would use again.

The team lead by Travis did a wonderful job. They were very professional and worked from 9:00 am until 3:30 in the afternoon. When they left every piece of tree was cleaned up out of the yard and the driveway cleaned of all debris. The street was also cleaned where they had their mulching machine, we could tell they took great pride in their work. I liked that the whole crew knew exactly what to trim and how to do it. Terry's have 5 Arborists in their business,Travis being one of them. Our trees are thirty years old and we felt very secure in Terry's to take the best care of them.

They have been an utter pleasure to work with from the first meeting with Terry to the time the crew left. All the staff was extremely responsive, professional, knowledgeable and pleasant. I would recommend Terry's tree service to anyone and in fact encourage everyone to use them. You honestly couldn't ask for more. They left the property in better shape than it was when they got here (I had a tree removed and stump ground...so a real mess). They cleaned up after themselves and even went over to my neighbors yard since they were worried some of the debris might have blown into their yard. Truly an amazing company! We were VERY happy with Travis, Aaron & the crew sent out to our large job. The 3 LARGE ficus trees were all removed & stumps ground without incident, even the BIG one towering over our 2 story home near the power lines!. The lot lines were cleared & brush removed. They did such a good job we asked them to trim all our palms as well (6 total). These guys checked all the A+ boxes. Arrived on time & called when they were 15 minutes out All were dressed in company T-Shirts & were very professional. Brought LOTS to drink & cared for their employees Ensured we were happy with the job they were doing & made adjustments when we requested Left our property CLEANER than they found it Price was reasonable compared to other bids What more can I say, we would absolutely hire them again!!

The work was performed well and the crew cleaned up properly. They used two bucket trucks to get up into the trees and 4 guys on the ground took care of clean up. Some larger branches that were above the house were removed and I thought they took appropriate care to avoid damage. d Just before the appointment some other trees in my neighborhood were severely butchered. I made a point of being home when the work was done to make sure that did not happen to my trees. I explained my concern to the foreman and was assured they would not trim like that. He mentioned that they were certified arborists and would prefer to trim in accordance with proper techniques, etc. As far as I could tell they did exactly that, my primary goal is to have healthy trees that outlive me.

Terry's Tree Svc was very professional as well as the most reasonably priced. I priced 4-5 companies and I'm so glad we used Terry's! The job was a huge job, the men were professional and quite impressive at their expertise and caution used to remove this big tree. The price was actually less than you see I put but we ran into a problem with volcanic stone under the earth when it came time to stump grind which the previous owner must have had and covered up so they had to return with a backhoe and remove the stone first so this was an additional $250-$275/can't quite recall. The original price included stump grinding and leveling of the area. They did a fantastic job and kept in contact with follow-up prior to the scheduled date to make sure they and we were ready for the date. I can't say enough about this company, great work, great people!! Thank you.

The trimmed trees are beautiful and where Terry's removed trees....it was like they were never there. Everything was left very tidy

It went well. Over the phone I was told and agreed to their minimum price . Due to the equipment they must bring. Terry was prompt to come to my house and check on what was needed, We agreed on the timing. I was out of town and when I returned the work had been well done. I appreciate their professionalism and reliability.

They did an excellent job trimming all of my trees and were very professional in the process of trimming trees (eg. equipment used and worn). However they were a bit careless moving around my property. As a result a few of my sprinkler heads were damaged, which they did replace. Several weeks later, I noticed they also damaged some paint on the side of my house where some very large palms were trimmed. Even though they did a beautiful job trimming my trees, they were not as careful as I would have liked with the property around my home.

Terry had to obtain permits, barricades, signs, cones and a crane to remove 7 pine trees while blocking one lane of 17th street. It took a lot of work to get the approval and permission from the Sarasota County. Even though this took a long time to plan, the work was done efficiently, one time, and for a fair price. This was a very professional service. Very impressed.

Waiting for them to come out on 3/10/2014 to complete second job for $700. Very reliable and a very nice job the first time

They removed a large live oak limb, large diameter bougainvilla vines from same treem pruned a large reclinata, four palms, and removed two large clerodendra, grinding up their stumps.

Took a few weeks for the work to be scheduled. But once the work was started, it went smoothly and was completed exactly as agreed. Trimmed tree looks great. Stump from removed tree was ground and area around the removed tree was smoothed out and leveled. Overall, very pleased with service.

I was very pleased with Terry's Tree Service. They responded to my inquiry the same day and showed up when promised to perform an estimate for work on 3 trees. I was happy with their price, but had to delay the work for personal reasons. I will definitely use their services in the near future.

It took about 2 hrs and there was a significant amount of trimming of the Florida Oak tree. Cleaned all trimmings and hauled away.

The entire property looks much better, and all of Terry's crew was amenable to suggestions and requests throughout the day, offering knowledgeable alternatives as needed. This is a thoroughly professional service that I would highly recommend. They have the required equipment to selectively trim tall trees, and the experience to know where and how to clean up appearance, identify species and and promote the healthy growth of everything they encountered.
