He failed the bid appointment and did not reschedule.

Matt was amazing! He was on time, professional and replaced my 3 screens at a reasonable price. I had called 3 other screening places ... one never showed up ... and 2 others never called me back. Thank goodness I remembered ANGIE'S LIST and found Superior Rescreening. It is a family owned business and they take pride in their work. I would highly recommend them .... and hire them again!!!

Outstanding in all areas! Matt provided a complete and thorough estimate and kept his appt. with us even though it was immediately after Hurricane Irma and I am certain he had many other jobs that popped up between estimate and the project date. All men who worked were very professional, punctual and did an amazing job on our pool cage! I give them my highest recommendation!

Below is my message (posted via Angie's List direct messages to provider) to the owner of the company after my scheduled appointment was so completely mishandled I was forced to cancel the job. Conversation with SUPERIOR RESCREENING INC Write a new message to the service provider Just now You wrote: First order of business in ANY professional situation:COMMUNICATION, and yours has been completely and inexcusably poor and unacceptable. You could have prevented a total fiasco if you had only bothered to show the professional courtesy of CALLING ME about schedule changes and returning my phone messages to you. But apparently investing 2 or 3 minutes of your time for the customer's well-being is not a priority to you. I asked a week or so ago if you had any earlier appointments and you said no. You NEVER contacted me to say Kyle was coming a day earlier--and he didn't even have the door kits so he said he could not do the job anyway. As he left, I asked CALL ME early in the morning once you have your schedule so I know roughly when to expect you. I heard NOTHING from him. After the screw-up on Wednesday, I was concerned about equally careless behavior the next day, so I left you a message asking for you to CALL ME early the next morning about when to expect Kyle. Again, I heard NOTHING. How can you possibly say you were "closed" when you have one phone number for your company and you, the owner, should be checking company phone messages CONSTANTLY. Do you hear yourself say you "didn't have a chance to check my messages" for a 24 hour period--SERIOUSLY? YOU OWN THE COMPANY! Who ELSE did you think would be dealing with all your messages from customers? What was the point of making an appointment 10 days in advance if you had no intention of taking responsibility for keeping me on your schedule and INFORMING ME IMMEDIATELY if there were changes. If a storm changes your schedule, it is YOUR JOB to inform me. A phone call takes only a moment, yet it treats a customer respectfully. It shows respect for the customer's time and well-being. You are NOT the only one who is busy and has commitments to meet. Yet you could not be bothered to spend a couple minutes returning my phone calls about a scheduled job and you are still refusing to accept responsibility for extremely careless and unprofessional behavior on your part. If you can't stay on top of your phone calls and paperwork, hire help. Don't make the customer suffer the needless stress of making an appointment when you think it is asking too much for you to make a polite phone call when you have to make changes. Zero communication from you is TOTALLY inexcusable. Zero apology for your lack of concern for MY scheduled project is totally inexcusable. ZERO concern for the satisfaction of your customer is inexcusable. All I can do is post this on Angie's List so others may think twice about hiring your company. "Super Service Award"? Certainly NOT my experience.

Matt was very courteous and professional. His team did quality work and were very efficient...they finished on time.

I called Matt on about June 11th. He answered and asked me to call back and leave him a voicemail so he could contact me when he had more time. I did that and he called me back the next day which I unfortunately missed and he left me a message. I have gotten no response from him since then. I have called and left 3 voicemails over a period of 10 days with no call back. He lost a customer which is unfortunate because I've used him in the past and was happy enough with the work to use him again.

Did a wonderful job! Were here on the day promised even though the week of rain put them behind, very professional.

Amazing crew...they swarmed all over our pool cage like a real team. They communicated so well with each other that they knew what each person was doing next.

Excellent. I had to delay the project at the last minute due to a snafu obtaining approval from HOA. Matt was very understanding and accommodating. Staff showed up on-time and completed the job as scheduled. Looks very good. Very good service.

Matt and his staff were very professional, prompt, and phoned to confirm appointment. Matt discussed options with me as well ensuring he answered all my questions. Great service and work quality.

From the second I contacted the owner Matt on Angie's list Matt sent me an immediate reply to schedule him to come and give an estimate! He came the next day on time, very professional and all around like able guy! After measuring he gave an estimate that was a considerable amount cheaper then the other place I received one from! I had told him we were getting three estimates but after talking to him and getting the estimate I decided to hire him without getting the third estimate! He originally said they were booking about three weeks out but lucky for us he had an opening due to a cancellation and was able to do it two days after he quoted me! The crew of 4 or 5 came out promptly and did an excellent job! They were all very friendly and professional! It's obviously they take pride in there work! You'd never even know they were here except for the clean new screen! They cleaned up everything and then some! I'm very happy I hired Matt and his awesome team! I highly recommend them to anyone needing screen work!!

It was okay. I would suggest that whoever comes out to do the quote should follow up with the people actually doing the work to tell them what needs to be done. Basically, they identified 5 or 6 panels that needed to be replaced and they didn't tell the people which ones needed to be replaced. They only said the size. They need to tighten up that relationship. They should make sure they know what needs to be done. I think the price was average. Their quality was fine. There was nothing wrong with what they did. Their responsiveness was fine. They were on time. I think I would shop around a little more the next time. I might check around with some neighbors and find out if they had a better experience. I wasn't really happy with the way they handled that. It was pretty unprofessional.

We purchased a home in Venice that still had the original lanai screening (from the 1980's or earlier! ) that we knew we would have to eventually replace. When the hurricane hit, one panel on the top tore off completely. We contacted Superior Rescreening and they came out very promptly to give us an estimate. Even though they were swamped with repairs from other homeowners that suffered damage from the storm, they fit us in right away because of the lack of a panel in our screening. They arrived on time, did the work quickly and professionally, and removed all of the old materials and cleaned up after themselves when the job was completed. We would definitely hire them again.

They came promptly to do the work, then said they didn't bring enough screening. Left an estimate, and suggested two additional screens, which I agreed to. When they came back, they said they'd be here between 8 and 11, and they showed up at 8:05. The two installers worked hard and constantly, and did a great job. They did work for us several months ago, and we were happy with that job, too. We'll use them again.

After some delay in getting the job scheduled Matt came out yesterday and rescreened my Lanai and did an excellent job. He also replaced rusted kick plates and added a 1 x 2 inch aluminum angle covering over the base tubing to cover up deterioration of the older metal . With new parts for the doors as well the lanai screening now looks like new. Matt and another worker completed the task in a few hours and removed all old material and left the area spotless. Of note he warranty's his work for up to 5 years and the warranty stays with the home even if new owners.

The team of three did an excellent job. They were professional, polite, and worked well together.

Matt and his crew did an excellent job on re-screening my pool cage, I also choose to have all the rusty screws removed and replaced with new screws, the pool cage looks much better and is stronger after being reinforced with the new screws. The work was done on the exact day that Matt scheduled with me. Clean up after the job was also very well done. I would definitely hire Superior Rescreening Inc again for any rescreening jobs.

Called us immediately after we contacted them through Angie's List. Set up an appointment, showed up as promised, completed the work, and left an invoice as we were not home. Excellent service!!!!!!!!!!

It started off well with a gentleman by the name of Matt coming out promptly to give us an estimate, he arrived on time and begun his estimate. A week or so later we arrive home from a doctors appt. to find two shirtless men beginning work on the front lanai. My wife and I walk up to greet the gentlemen and are hit with the smell of marijuana. We decide it's probably just one of our neighbors or something and leave it alone and allow them to continue working. The gentlemen finish up quickly and begin work changing the back screens for the rear lanai. They complete this task quickly and begin cleaning up. They cleaned up their mess and the younger of the two gentlemen knocks on our door and is invited in, and this is where it begins to go South. The young man reeked of marijuana, confirming our original thought. After writing the young man a check we go out to inspect our new lanai, and find some poor workmanship. In some places the aluminum is an inch away from the wall, and their way of fixing these gaps is filling the gaps in with white caulk. It's painfully obvious that they cut the aluminum too short and had to wing it. The next issue was there are several screws that are hanging out a quarter of an inch, the holes for these screws were improperly drilled and so the screws will never go in appropriately. The two gentlemen were quick to bail after being paid, and we were unable to offer our complaints to them. We called Matt the gentleman who gave us our estimate and the owner of the business, he arrived to inspect our complaints and acted like it was our fault for being too picky, even though the issues are glaring. After all is said and done his fix was more white caulk and I guess the incorrect screws are to be left out. He offered no other solutions to our complaints and treated us like we were hassling him. When we brought up that his employees also reeked of marijuana he told me it was impossible because they do "random" drug testing..... Poor experience overall, do yourself a favor and go with someone else.
