Stillman's Tree Service

Impressed with the speed of them coming out for an estimate & scheduling the service ASAP. Only real complaint I had was they were several hours late coming out to do the actual job. I had to contact them to see where they were. I feel they should have called to let me know they were coming out much later.

I personally wasn't there when the service was performed but when I returned the work was completed and the yard was clean of any debris from the job.

These guys were really good. They left my house better than when they started. They were awesome. Everything was beautiful when they left. They blew all the decks off and made it look so pretty. They were incredible. I will use them again for sure.

When I originally called, I believe they sent someone out the same day for an estimate. I found the price to be reasonable so I called back and set a date and services were performed on that date.

It went very well from start to finish.

I first phoned and left a message but did not get a call back in the next 2 days. I called again and was offered to have Jim come out the next day between 9 and 11 AM and provide an estimate. At 11.30 when he had not arrived I called the office, who got Jim on his cell. He called me promtly, said he was running late and would be at our place by noon, which he was We were given a quote which they honored. We asked for the work to be done the next day, Jim said he would check to see if a crew was available. The next day a crew showed up at about 10AM, no phone call before. They worked quickly and got the job done in less than 3 hours.

The crew chief seemed to understand what we wanted it to look like. He communicated to the crew well. We were pleased with the results but are not sure what the normal rates are. This seemed a little high for the job done. The next time I will get other estimates to compare the price to other trimming services.

Andrew, Jim and the crew are all extremely courteous, professional, exuding in positive and proactive attitudes. They work diligently, effectively, efficiently and are VERY reasonably priced. They care about your satisfaction and consistently provide exemplary service. The professionalism is above-par and they strive to do things the right way and not half-way or "good enough." It's a refreshing attitude in an industry fraught with problematic providers. There is a reason for their good ratings - Stillman has earned them.

The representative responded promptly to give an estimate. They gave the best estimate of four companies. A date for service was arranged and they arrived on time and were extremely polite, professional and I could not have been more pleased. They were doing such a great job that two of my neighbors contracted for their services the same day. I have six oaks in my front yard and one in the back. They are now so beautiful that the compliments just keep comming! They also did my pigby palm and explained how to keep it trimmed in the future. When finished they left the entire area so clean you would not have known any workers had been on the property.

We found Stillman Tree Service on Angie's List and they had great scores. When I called they were quite busy after the tropical storm but Jim Stillman came by the next day to look at the job. The first thing he did when I answered the door was to hand me the company's insurance and workers compensation certificates and their Angie's List scores. I always ask for the insurance documents so it was very comfortable to get that out of the way and I appreciated his initiative. I know little or nothing about tree trimming so I appreciated how he took me around my property and advised me on what was needed without making me feel like I was being taken advantage of. He took notes as we talked and carefully wrote down every tree he would be trimming. At the end of our tour he had the estimate finished and we agreed on the price. I knew we had to be flexible on the day the work would be done because of rainy weather but they were only delayed one day. The crew showed up on time the crew leader walked around the property with me to make sure we both knew what they were about to do. They were also very flexible about adding a couple of limbs while they were up there. The job took longer than I expected, not that that is a criticism since I was available all day. They were very thorough and careful and did a great job of cleaning up and hauling away all the debris when they were done. Stillman's far exceeded our expectations.

Jim followed up the same day we contacted him for a quote, and returned our calls promptly to set up the work schedule. He was very professional, punctual, and informative, and his prices were very good. Gabe and his crew (Enrique, Domingo, Josh, and the others) were very pleasant and polite, hard-working, and know their job well! All the work done exceeded our expectations. They were also very thorough with their clean-up… they even raked and blew. We will definitely use this company again!! Thank you, Jim and Gabe and your crew!

Andrew's crew arrived promptly...their quote was more than fair and they did a phenomenal job. Cut down trees and shrubs and hauled it all away...leaving my yard clean and RAKED !! The guys were professional, courteous and extremely efficient. THANK YOU again, Andrew and your team !!!! I feel that Andrew is now a trusted friend. I received the kind of service we all hope for but have learned NOT to expect....so thanks Andrew for restoring my faith...I can expect the very best...it is still out there. Wow is the word to best describe the removal of my trees. If you want a good tree service then Andrew's is the one for you. Both he and his crew are fantastic. They had the difficult task of removing two huge trees from the yard and had to use a crane for part of the job which made for great rubber necking in the neighborhood. The old adage you get what you pay for is so true here. Andrew may not be the cheapest but he is definitely the best and the results in my yard are proof of that. ---- Donna

Following contact with the company, a representative met with us and gave us a written estimate. The crew showed up as agreed and came back a second day to complete the work. The yard was well cleaned up and the work was completed as agreed upon. Following service the original representative came back to review the work and worked on one of the trees to his satisfaction.

They arrived on time, finished in 1 day, cleaned up all of the remains. Very nice people; I will hire them again

They thought it would be 4 days to a week before he could come but was able to be here the next day. They were timely and their work was good. They were professional and I would recommend them. He also cleaned out the gutters.

Andrew Stillman is the guy I dealt with. I would highly recommend them. They have done some work for us in the past. My mother had used them for some work as well. We have been impressed with them since that time and they recently did some other work for us. I found them to be very straightforward and professional. We spent about $300 for the last service. They do big jobs, but we were just using them for residential service. They also do large commercial work; so it’s pretty substantial. I have dealt with other people in the similar business. Sometimes, you wish they call you back a little quicker. They are good, but they are a busy company.

They cut the limbs of the branches right back to the tree and left everything very clean afterward. We didn't realize how really overgrown these limbs were until they were finished and my husband said, as he was driving out for work "I can actually see the oncoming traffic by over 3 streets now!" We would definitely use their services again! We felt the price was very fair as we got another estimate from another of a company on Angie's List and his quote was quite a bit higher.

Trmmed my palm tree. Exellent service

During one of the storms my tree fell down. I called and Andrew came out that evening to give me an estimate. I also asked if the gutters could get cleaned as I could not get to them. He gave me a reasonable estimate. The tree was not in an area that was obstructing anything so I told him there wasn't a rush. Andrew though it would be a lttle while because he was backed up-and that was fine with me. The next day he called, they had time to get my job done-he sent 2 of his workers over. They were professional and did a great job (even working in 90 degree heat). I would definately use them again and recommend them

The company is headed by a pair of brothers from Pennsylvania. An efficient estimate was done by a personable and knowledgeable person. They have a hard working and professional team who cleaned up as they trimmed. The charges were what was estimated.

I've gotten good vibes from him. He is very conservative and a person of integrity. He will not leave until the job is done and you are satisfied. He was willing to come back several times to talk. One time he was going to be a few minutes late and he called to tell me. He gave me some free advice on taking care of trees. He doesn't sublet the work and if he doesn't have the equipment to do the job, he will refer you to somebody else. He will let you deal directly with them and not take any commission. His bid was very low. He was willing to work with me and gave me different bids to just drop the tree and to also take the tree to the street. When I get the money, he will be the one that I will call. He was professional and I plan on using him.
