Screen Pros & More is a predatory business. The owner Thomas Poirier quoted me 24K for a job. Billed me for a ton of materials and then did not do the job. He came over with a helper a couple of times. They would do maybe 30 minutes to an hour of work. He started giving us some sad stories about a sick son as an excuse to not work. Then he stopped showing up or answering calls entirely. He left my yard littered with stuff, and did not ever complete the job. When I, or my contractor, tried to call him, he completely ghosted us. I have not heard from him in over a month now.

Any positive review is by the "Thomas Poirier" all they hire are broken men who are drunks & addicts they show up whenever they want and half a** the job. Be warned ....I was checking th county jail to see if he was picked up.

If I was only rating the resulting product, and not the owner and experience, this would be 4 stars. End product of our screened cage over our new pool, great looking. But working with Thomas Poirier, one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences with a contracted company. Reading prior reviews, I now realize maybe we should have let him just be our cage and screen pro. The "and more" is where you get drawn into the "what could be" of your home and outdoor space, and I can assure you, it will not end how you think it will. He will show up when he wants, including weekends, unannounced. He has so many phones, in the middle of a conversation he will answer then, mouth "one minute", and leave you standing while he's booking new jobs. He will go days, max was 11, without a word of communication and you have to chase him for a response. Be prepared to hear the excuses of "someone put sugar in one of my trucks gas tanks", "all 4 of my work truck tires were slashed", and my favorite "still just waiting on the county for permits". The last one results in you getting frustrated and finding out he didn't submit/follow up with the county to make sure the paperwork was completed correctly. The "and more" is currently being reviewed by another contractor because we are so worried that with us asking him when he was going to finish our job, that his disgruntled attitude might have spilled over into his work. Examples - Fans installed, the lights randomly turn on by themselves at 3am when we have the remote in our nightstand. An area of screen, that got punctured while another company installed our pool pump, Thomas kept saying they would fix "as a courtesy", just see the picture I attached to see his fix. He left our property with no final inspection from the county or us. Probably because he knows he didn't complete the job and is now in the hole for the work. We had to clean up the food containers left behind, metal shavings for installations, re-capped our bourbon that was on our bar as he helped himself to some, turn off our own deck TV from whatever he was watching, and the casual mention of being late because he took "a bunch of Xanax and lost track of time". My advice for if all this doesn't deter you from using him. Be prepared to be his scheduler, his go getter of materials, and possibly his audience for his stories about his day trades and other companies.

This company can not take a few moments to respond to a simple question as to whether or not I can get a quote.

The owner and helper came out the same day I called to give an estimate. When they got here they were able to do the work right then. They were speedy and efficient. The rescreening took about 35 minutes. The screen looks great.

Went great. They did a terrific job on the balcony and worked until the window screens fit perfectly.

Called Screen Pros And More in the morning, left a message and got a call back very shortly after to make an appointment for the owner to come that afternoon to give us an estimate. He arrived promptly, was very professional and gave us good advice about how we could do the work ourselves.

When the contractor was contacted, I received a phone call almost immediately, scheduled a time for a free estimate. A few days later I made contact again to schedule the job. Rain delayed meeting the scheduled date but first available time was scheduled and the job completed in one day. The team showed up on time (and it was a cold morning) and they got to work. All screens were replaced promptly. For years, our sliding glass door had been very sticky at best, difficult to open, so bearings were replaced and it now slides like a dream, didn't know it was possible. The team cleaned up whatever trash came from the job. Payment was made when the job was completed and we are very pleased with the outcome. Prompt, professional, quality work for a competitive price...can't ask for anything more.
