This plumbing operation is trustworthy and efficient from the getgo to the invoice. Hurricane Milton destroyed our outdoor shower enclosure. It smashed the plumbing fixtures. I called Richard's Plumbing and Barbara set up a service call right away. Ericson texted before his arrival and he was courteous and professional from the time he arrived to the time he departed. First he gave me a reasonable estimate. I OKed it. He had all the plumbing parts in the truck. The work was done to perfection and cleaned up. The final cost came in low on the estimate range. I highly recommend Richard's Plumbing and will use them again. Tom Ney

Do not use Richard's Plumbing!! My toilet was stopped up last week, Monday June 3rd. I had used Richard's in the past and was satisfied with the results so they were my first phone call. Shawn, their technician showed up in less than two hours, which I thought was a great sign. He spent less than 20 minutes snaking out the line and told me the issue was flushable wipes. I thought this was strange and even questioned it because we haven't even purchased wipes in 5 years, after I had been told by Richard's in the past, that flushable wipes clog the lines and aren't actually supposed to be flushed. I should add that I keep a basket on the back of the toilet that someone could assume is wipes if they do not pick up the package and realize that's not what it is, I'm sure Shawn saw this. I paid $352. To my horror, FIVE DAYS and a house full of people later, the toilet stopped up again. This was Saturday, so I knew it would be unrealistic to ask them to come out for free but thought it would be fair to not be charged the additional weekend fee since they were supposed to have fixed the problem earlier in the week. I was told in a very curt manner that Richard's does not guarantee their work and not only would I have to pay the full $352 again (after just paying $352 five days prior), I would have to pay an additional $176 on top of that to come out on a Saturday! That came out to be another $528 for less than 20 minutes of work!!! I was informed, almost chastised, that he could see in the paperwork the problem was the wipes (again, I have not purchased flushable wipes in 5 years) and I probably have more wipes clogging the lines. I then called another plumbing company, Plumbing Today, who not only came within hours, but also did not charge an additional fee to come on a Saturday. Plumbing Today spent almost two hours investigating the problem, removing the commode, and fixing the issue. I was told there were NO wipes found and the problem was that there were roots forming around the ring at the base of the commode. If Shawn with Richard's Plumbing would have done his job and not made assumptions, he would have discovered this during the 17 minutes he was at my house and I would not have had to pay a plumber twice!!! I fully regret tipping Shawn and offering a cold beverage. I will now and forever think of Richard's Plumbing as lazy "money grab" plumbers and will tell anyone and everyone I come in contact with to NEVER USE THEM EVER!!!!

Our plumber was knowledgeable, professional and did an excellent job of explaining what he was doing. The installation was done very well and I would hire him again. Highly recommend!

They were very professional and went right to work and got the job done quickly. They were both very polite. installed 2 sink faucets and disposal.

I wanted a small update / remodel of my kitchen , new sink,faucet,garbage disposal and dishwasher .The dishwasher needed electrical and all new plumbing. I called Richards and immediately spoke to Renee. Renee told me they could meet all my need and they proceeded to help and guide me on what I needed regarding the garbage disposal. She told me to make sure I measured correctly . As I shopped for these items I touched base with her several times to make sure I had the right things like a faucet that would fit the sink and the holes that came with it. Renee was invaluable, always patient and very knowledgeable.She certainly made my comfort level literally a lot more â comfortableâ . She told me the costs up front and about how long the job would take considering new electric and some new plumbing would need to be run. On my big day Michael the plumber and Caden and Charlie the electricians arrived on time. They all got right to work. When the project was finished the new wall socket matched my others and during this project install the grout around my counters was broken and Michael regrouped all around the counter top , looked better than the original. All the lctrical line and the new place in the electric panel looked very nice. Michael also â educatedâ me for which I was grateful like since I am a snowbird put a little olive oil in the disposal when I leave to cut down on possible rust. He showed me the disposal warranty told me it was free and crawled underneath the sink to take a picture of the numbers so I could do the free registration for the warranty. When they all finished they brought in their shop vac and proceeded to sweep up their mess. These three men were professional, knowledgeable ,showed great respect for myself and my home. I asked Caden to look over my electrical panel to make sure it was all up to â snuffâ which he said. This whole project started with Renee and the comfort I felt in talking to her, she was never hurried always answered all my questions and was so knowledgeable. She just plain understood what I was trying to do when I told her everything I wanted was just plumbing and electrical. My job is wonderful I walk around my new kitchen and just canâ t stop smiling. Richard you have quite a staff and I would recommend them to anyone that wants a top notch job done at a fair price. These men charge by the hour and not one minute was spent not being productive and with this pandemic they were all masked. Thank you Renee, Michael, Caden and Charlie.

Called for a water heater repair this morning and had a tech (Paul and his Apprentice) out by 11am. Ended up getting a total new water heater as ours was 10 years old. Did a great job explaining and felt comfortable that the job was needed. Overall good experience

I had this company re-pipe my manufactured home in Palmetto. I had the original pipe removed and replaced totally. The technicians Mike and Jeff were quiet, respectful and extremely knowledgeable. They answered all questions and explained thoroughly the plan and at the end of the first day cleaned up their job site. The second day they explained everything again and their plan for that day. It took 2 days to complete, very unobtrusive and professional. High quality workmanship and I am so happy I chose this company. One little hiccup was I needed my laundry tub faucets replaced, a total of $39 on top of original quote. Definitely would have no hesitation in recommending Richards Plumbing and Electric. Thanks for a great job.
