SUPERB from Start to Finish; every single detail!! That is the most succinct description I can offer regarding the wonderful landscaping services provided by Francis Doranth and his crew at Quality Landscape Services. They transformed my outdoor world from one of dull boredom with plants in spaces ill suited for them into one of vibrant healthy plants in just the right sizes, colors, and shapes for the garden spaces and lighting conditions. And they created an environment that is now home to happy birds and butterflies. Francis was meticulous in creating the designs for all of the beds, including photos of the plants. He personally presented the plans to LWR Town Hall ensuring that the many HOA regulations regarding landscaping were met. All plants were personally handpicked by Francis, and it showed in the vitality of each of them. After planting they barely paused for a moment of transplant shock before settling their roots into the good food he provided, and proceeded to grow with vigor. Since installation day Francis has returned numerous times to check on the welfare of the plants and adjust the irrigation system as the plants have become acclimatized to their new surroundings. On installation day the crew worked together incredibly well helping each other as the need arose; especially with the largest palms, and a few plants that needed an extra gentle touch. As part of the installation the irrigation system was completely revamped to customize it for the specific plants in each bed. This is the first time in the life of this property that the system has truly functioned as a system rather than a collection of pieces. They also installed a pebble and stepping stone walkway along one side of the house, so muddy shoes tracking dirt into the lanai are no longer an issue. Bravo Zulu! A job very well done!!

I made an appointment with Francis at the conclusion of a remodeling project on our cottage on an island in the Gulf of Mexico after visiting his website. We wanted to move back in asap, and Francis scheduled us promptly. First, cleaning up the site which had been badly damaged, unbeknownst to us the irrigation system had been turned off by the contractor, and not turned back on for 4 months, so we lost a lot of sod,and all the plantings were in severe stress. The shell paths had been pretty well wrecked as well. Francis corrected all of the above problems, and then designed a courtyard garden that had been created as part of the remodeling. Permitting is a huge issue, as part of our property is within the coastal construction zone, pools, patios, etc. can take months to be permitted. Francis subcontracted a paver patio that is beautiful and met all of the requirements of our city, without needing a permit. He also subcontracted a craftsman to construct the steps leading down to the patio, and this was no quick throw together, the quality of the work is impeccable. I had an old fountain that I wanted to use but it was missing some important parts. Francis used his ingenuity (and some creative use of super glue!) to get it up and running. The cottage is a second home, and we have had years of experience with suppliers, workers, etc. that just don't do the work if you are not around. Francis maintains our irrigation system, checks on the health of the plants, and treats them accordingly, even pulling weeds when that is not part of his job description, he just does what needs to be done. He always provides photos with his emails, so we can see exactly how thisgs are doing. We have an old palm, which is the "queen tree" on our lot and is financially irreplaceable. Francis diagnosed what the tree was suffering from and although it is incurable, he has been treating it with loving care (and antibiotics) to keep it healthy as possible. His workers are pleasant and hardworking, and fast! So to summarize, Francis provides beautiful results in landscaping, but he doesn't stop there. He watches over it as if it were his own. He always goes the extra mile to have a happy client and we couldn't be happier with the results. We have recommended him over and over.

Francis exceeded all expectations. Please ask him for pictures of his work at our house. My husband and I are very detail oriented and we both are extremely impressed with his work. I believe Francis handles large and small jobs If you appreciate quality and have a budget to work with you will not be disappointed. One other comment. Besides the quality work, Francis is a man of his word which makes working with him a true pleasure. We look to peoples actions. His words and his actions line up. We highly recommend Quality Landscape Services (Very appropriately named by the way )

He was professional and thorough. No surprises when I got the price. It was high but he warned me before he went back and calculated costs.

We recently had a septic drainfield replaced and much of our front lawn was torn up in the process, so we decided it was time to upgrade our landscaping. Our yard is very shady in some places so getting a contractor that knew what sod and plants would do well was important to us. Francis, the owner, designed new beds using graceful curves where stark straight lines existed before. He added new plants that are both shade tolerant and resistant to the occasional freezes we have here. He installed Bitterblue St. Augustine throughout the yard, upgraded our irrigation, and added some Fishtail palms to soften the view of the neighbor's house. Complete strangers now stop when they drive by and tell me how great my yard looks. I admit I am a high maintenance customer, but Francis was patient and amazingly helpful. The things that set him apart from the other companies that bid on the project were his obvious knowledge, professionalism, and integrity. I would recommend Quality Landscape Services and Francis without reservation.
