The company employees state that they do service work on the weekly report that is not performed; I have seen them come and spend 5 minutes before leaving and stating that they have vacuumed, cleaned filters, brushed the pool, and checked the chemical levels - what they actually did wad to add chlorine and leave. The water in my pump reservoir had been low for a couple weeks and I phoned the company to report that the pump filter needed to be cleaned. Their service person claimed it was clean and upon taking it out, it was full of algae and sand. (see photo) I cleaned it, replaced it, and the pressure and reservoir level returned to normal.

The inspection was extremely thorough and Heath was professional, friendly, and kept us informed as to everything he was testing and/or looking for. We were provided a detailed, written inspection which allows us to determine exactly what we want to do next. I highly recommend Pools by Lowell.

At first, things were fine. The original technician was timely and seemed to know what he was doing. After a few months a new tech was assigned the pool, and despite being 'indoctrinated' by his manager things headed down hill. The day for service changed, the time of day was never the same, he didn't know how to use the computer managing the saline system, the variable speed pump got screwed up, etc, etc. After two weeks of difficulty I called the owner of the pool company on three occasions but had to leave messages with the receptionist each time. Despite her assurances, the owner never returned my calls, only to have another tech call back once after hours. After another two weeks of no response from the manager, and no corrections to the process of servicing the pool, I called the builder of the pool who sent his lead tech to investigate the status of the pool. The chemicals were completely out of balance, the saline system wasn't even functioning properly, the pump was out of sequence and running way above the normal pressure and the filter had NO DE powder despite being told by the Lowell tech he had 'added DE' just the week before. When I called Lowell to cancel services the owner finally called back but only to argue the accuracy of how many messages I had left and when they had been left with his admin. A truly unremarkable reaction to losing a good customer!

They are great to work with. We have been using their services for about 15 years. They have excellent customer service. We get the same technician each week that who knows our pool. It is a well run company and they provide excellent quality.
