 + -1 moreHad a toilet valve fail, called for an appointment. They told me 8 days, so much for plumbing today but it's in season so I get it. I took off work to be home and they called me at 1 in the afternoon on the service date to reschedule for yet another week later. I'm out a days pay and they could care less. I found a plumber that actually showed up. They used to be better, never again.

 + -1 morePlumber came to first discuss price. There was no hourly fee. Every job required a separate diagnostic except for toilet where price was almost enough to replace entire toilet. I told him I'd find someone else and was charged a fee for coming out.
Description of Work: 1. Heating element on tankless water heater replaced. I had the element. 2. Toilet guts replaced. 3. Shower drip into basement diagnosed.

 + -1 moreTwo men came promptly from Plumbing Today. I previously had had this problem before and had ordered an extra heating element. They recognized that the part was a heating element, quickly located the tankless heater, diagnosed which of the elements needed repair and replaced the defective one. The system has worked well in the last week since they came.
Description of Work: Replaced heating element, which I provided, in tankless water heater after diagnosing which one was bad.

Description of Work: Did a great job completely re-piping my house and did it FAST...other companies were weeks out...they had my water fixed 3 days after the estimate. The only reason I downgraded scores a bit was they wanted to soak me for nearly $700 to swap out the disposal when I asked them about it the morning of the re-pipe. And they were going to be working under the kitchen sink anyway. I can buy the EXACT same dispsor at Lowes for $179 and put it in myself in an hour or less. Other than that...they did do a great job...but like all contractors...gotta watch em.
