Omar's Cleaning Service

Omar's Cleaning Service cleaned for me for years and the girls were excellent. However, I never knew when they would show up. Omar would call and ask me if it was okay if they came early and I would look out the window and see they're were already here an hour and a half early. Or they could be that much late. The final straw...even though their cleaning duties had dropped by 50% or more (kids in college, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, living room, game room, etc no longer required cleaning regularly), Omar asked to raise the rate. I made the mistake of not renegotiating a rate for a smaller job years ago when my kids left, but I certainly didn't expect him to try to raise the rate for half the work. He took advantage of the situation. I let him know there was no need to clean the majority of the house one time but asked if he could have his girls do a deeper cleaning in my kitchen. They cleaned the smaller area as fast as they could without any extra detail. My guess is he saw this as an opportunity to send them to another job while collecting full payment from me. But when I'm paying the rate for a 4 bedroom/3.5 bath to be cleaned and only ask to have a 1/1.5 cleaned for years, I certainly won't pay a rate increase. If you want to feel taken advantage of, this is the right company for you. It's a shame because his employees are excellent.

I can't have people over in the mornings; it's a health issue. I set up my first cleaning with Omar for an afternoon appointment. Just a couple of days before the day they were due, Omar called me and as much as demanded that I change the appointment to early that morning. I told him that I would rather have them come on another day, but was told that "there are no other days." I finally said, "I hired your service for my convenience, not yours. If you can't have someone here at the agreed time, don't come at all." I hadn't even had one cleaning before they started making demands. I will never, ever, have Omar's do my house again.

Pressure washed the house, blew all the sand out of my pavers and damaged my door. When called about it, he started screaming at me telling me he did not do it (The only person that has touched my house since new 1 year ago) and said he would not be coming out to finish the job which included sealing the pavers. I asked for his insurance information and he refused to provide it.

I thought they were very good, very thorough, there were a few minor things I'd have changed but I felt like if I'd been around for longer we could have ironed some of those minor problems out.

You will not find a better service. Omar is honest, helpful, straight forward and the kind of person I want to do business with. Originally I bought a deal to have my garage cleaned out, however I decided a whole house cleaning, including windows inside and out, was necessary after having new floors installed. Omar let me apply my "deal" to the cost of the cleaning. The construction dust was horrible but Omar and his team made my home dust free and livable again. He even took down my old filters so I could replace them and then put the new ones back in. As a new resident in FL it's been hard to find the kind of team I had in NY, but Omar is now a part of my new team. People I can trust to be fair, do a good job, and are true to their word.

they did a very good job organizing my garage and getting rid of unwanted items. I did expect them to cleam my garage floor better however. Also they were only there about an hour so the cost of service seemed a little high

They do a great job. They are trustworthy and punctual.

The pressure washing was better than other pressure washers I've had in the past. The cleaners he sends out do a great job and their price is reasonable.
