Everything went very well. My list was completed. The quality of work was great and I would definitely use them again. I already started writing up a new list before he finished! Even though I paid for 2 hours, he finished my list and went overtime without additional charge. I greatly appreciate it.

We had several bids for this extensive kitchen rebuild job. Allan was the only contracting to come out to our home and perform a full job scope prior to submitting his bid. His evaluation and enquiries gave me confidence that Allan could conduct the considerable job within his bid and our budget. He did not let us down. Allan performed excellent work and we are very satisfied.

These guys were speedy, efficient and experienced. They were pleasant and four hours early, which actually worked better for me anyway. I had purchased a Big Deal coupon for 2 hours of handyman service and was really pleased they got through my to-do list even though they had to go pick up some supplies in order to do so and gave me an extra 20 minutes on the house. I will probably wait for another Big Deal offer to hire them again, because their general fee for handyman services is $75.00/hour, which is higher than the other people I have used in the past for handyman services, who charge between $35.00-$50.00/hr.

Work began just after 8:00 AM and finished just after noon. It included a trip to a box store, 9 miles away to pick up additional parts. We also asked that the electrician look a a downstairs bathroom fan that was quite noisy, but he wasn't able to correct the problem. The work was done in a professional manner, although the final bill seem quite high.

I was referred to New Dawn Electric by a co-worker who was very pleased with their work. I also looked at the company's reviews online and they were all very positive. So, I called and spoke with Kelly. She was extremely friendly and very helpful in getting me scheduled and listening to what tasks we needed accomplished. I then spoke to Allan who helped walk me through what he would need to do to complete the tasks while minimizing drywall holes. They also provided me with a quote that seemed reasonable for the type and amount of work that need to be done. On the date scheduled, Allan arrived on-time and was very friendly. He walked through the house with me while we verified what work was being done. He performed the work in a timely manner, used plastic drop sheets to contain the dust/scrap and cleaned up at the end of the job. From my experience, I would definitely use New Dawn Electric again and I would recommend them.

This was a trucky job involving snaking lines thru walls from basement to third floor in a historic house. It was done with great attention to the character of the house. Very neat and clean. It took all day. I hired him again to fix a different blown out circuit which had been wired incorrectly. Perfect job again. It took 1 hour. $100. I will continue to use him.

The electrical in our old house had been messed with many times over the years, and I wanted to make sure it was safe. Also we never knew what circuit breaker went with what outlet. New Dawn provider came exactly when promised and checked the whole house very carefully, took pains to explain everything to us. He clearly knew what he was doing; very professional and experienced. Figuring out the circuit breaker boxes took a lot of time and effort (running up and down) but he did not stop. He did everything promised. I felt a lot safer after he finished. When we re-do our electric, we will definitely get a cost estimate from New Dawn.

The electrician came promptly and was very friendly and knowledgeable . He worked quickly and even corrected a flaw that was made by the BGE folks.. I was very happy with the service and will definitely recommend them to others and use them again.

Provider is very friendly, punctual, and works hard to not waste time since he is paid by the hour. We had a previous "electrician" do work outside and we had New Dawn check it since we thought it wasn't done properly. New Dawn checked and even consulted the county codes to make sure we were able to use the wiring or not. Highly recommend.

Arrived right on time, and installed our exterior outlet as promised. New dawn always does a great job. Very trustworthy. We will never use another electrician. The are fantastic.

The electrician is very professional. He spent the time to find the sources of a couple of electrical issues that have been plaguing our house for years. We definitely got our money's worth on the 2 hour special.

I called to receive a time estimate for the projects I needed done prior to purchasing a deal through Angie's List for service. The receptionist was very helpful, and was able to schedule my service within a week. The electrician called when he was on his way, and arrived on time. He was courteous and knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions, and explained things in a manner that I could understand. He cleaned up after himself and ensured that all trash was disposed of. I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome of my service appointment.

Scheduling went very well and company principal showed up on time and eager to work. Work was performed in an expert and efficient manner. Owner was very professional. I wouldn't hesitate to call this company again for future electrical work.

I decided to call a master electrician, Allan of New Dawn Electric to do a long list of things that I needed. The work was divided into 2 days. On the first day he arrived promptly and got right to work. He worked meticulously and explained to me what he was doing. I found this very helpful. Allan is a master at what he does. My list was finished on the 2nd visit. It was great seeing a master electrician at work. I was amazed at how carefully and precisely he worked and how efficiently he was with his time. The biggest thing though is New Dawn Electric did a simply beautiful job. Everything looks like it was there all the time. Excellent work.

Wonderful provider!!! I had called the fire department at midnight to investigate a very strong burning odor in my dining room. It was determined that the light switch was too hot to even touch and there was an electrical fire hazard. The fire department shut off the circuit that controlled the lights to my dining room and kitchen. I was hosting a surprise 40th anniversary party & expecting over 30 guests to my home the following day...instant panic! At 2:30 am I searched Angie's list for an electrician that offered 24 hr /emergency services and found New Dawn Electric. I called at 8 am and spoke to Kelly (owners wife). What a wonderful asset to New Dawn Electric!!! After hearing my dilemma, she contacted Allan and was not only able to squeeze me in for that day, but arranged for him to be at my house within 1 1/2 hrs!!! Allan was so pleasant and professional & immediately took care of the problem!!! What fantastic customer service from Kelly, who was so kind, understanding and accommodating to her husband, Allan who responded so quickly to repair the problem and "save the day". I wouldn't hesitate to use New Dawn Electric again and highly recommend this wonderful provider!!! Thx so much!!

Allan and his wife Kelly are super! They worked around my crazy schedule to come out to provide an estimate on the work. Kelly was able to schedule the work for a day that I would be home, and the follow-up items were handled on a Saturday morning before I had to go off to my son's soccer game. Kelly was fabulous to work with on scheduling, and Allan did a great job! I look forward to using them for future projects! Thank you!!!!

Prior to a home inspection for the sale of our home, I noticed that there were regular outlets in three bathrooms and thought that they needed GFCI's. I called New Dawn based on their great reviews and Allan came that day. He determined that the outlets were in fact hooked into a GFCI in the master bath, and only that one needed replacing. Following the inspection, it was found that the two GFCI's in the kitchen did not work and I called and had Allan back to replace those. From the first phone call, the owner, Kelly was pleasant and professional and most accommodating. I could not have asked for better service. And of course, Allan was efficient and on time each time. New Dawn was a pleasure to deal with.
