It took a little longer than normal because of the holidays. It turned out excellent. Richard, the owner, had assured me that he would exeed my expectations and he came real close to doing so. This is not the cheapest person you could find to do the work but it was worth what I spent. His employees were so neat and nice. They became almost like family. Chris, in the office, went above and beyond. Jeff, the project manager, could not have been better. I told him if I was happy with the room that I would use them to replace the windows in the rest of my home. We are in the process of doing that now.

contractor showed up on time and completed work in a timely fashion. waiting on contractor to return to site and complete punch list. I have already paid in full and he's not returning telephone calls in a punctual manner

Our initial consult went very well and was looking forward to working with them. I was told that they would send a proposal for the jobs (2 bathrooms and kitchen full remodel) within a 2 week period. I told them that I would like to make a decision very soon and start this project in the next month. They said they had room in the schedule to begin within 4-5wks. After 4 times attempting to contact Mr. Build over the next two months (without a response each time) I finally got a proposal via email, very basic no pics of samples etc. Along with the long wait this proposal was extremely high priced. It was obvious they didn't want to even compete for the jobs. We've done many remodels over the years so this isn't our first attempt at a project. VERY DISAPPOINTED in how they handled a potential customer!

I obtained Mr. Build from Angie's list recs. I called and the rep came out very soon. He looked at my lanai and quoted a price. I accepted with haggling (should have haggled!). He gave me a time range and they took longer to return buy I was not in that big a rush so I wasn't upset. they did exactly as I asked and we are very pleased with the result. I simple job, actually.

I thought they were very professional. They did what they said they would do. They were on time and they did a great job. The experience went really well.

2/28 - the contract was signed. 3/2 - Measurement was taken. 4/2 - Doors were installed. Painting was done over the next couple of days. A follow-up on 4/6 applied a bit of molding to better insulate doors. Though the process took a little longer than desired, (there were permitting delays), there were no surprises. All personnel were most courteous and friendly. The work done is excellent.

Used Mr. Build to replace four large exterior sliding doors four months prior to this. Based on that very positive experience, used them to complete the exterior windows and doors. Very satisfied with both the hi-quality impact doors and Windows to address hurricane issues, and with the installation.

I contacted the company to get a price on installing a 6-foot wide screen enclosure at the entry to my home. The company canceled the first appointment we made and didn't bother to tell me about it until I called them an hour after the time they were to show up. When they did keep the second appointment we made they were right on time, but the price the person gave me on the spot and on the back of a business card, made it clear they didn't want to be bothered with my small job.

Good. 2 months wait time

I thought I would get an estimate at the initial visit but somebody just came out to look at the space. Then I had to schedule a second appointment for the real person to come out and do all the measurements and give me the quote. The overall experience has been good. They were professional.

The owner went to great lengths to make sure I was getting the quality of doors I wanted. The installers were very professional and did a good job. I will use them again for other renovations, and would recommend them without any reservations.

The day that I spoke to their representative about what I wanted, he saved me $600.00 by checking on the work this contractor was doing. He went outside to speak to their crew and came in to tell me that they were going to tell me that they would need to add this amount to the job. He recommended that I refuse the additions because the sales person from the other company had had no less than three opportunities to include this amount in the quote and had failed to do so and that it was a cost that I should not accept. I described what I wanted and why. The representative from Mr Build asked that he be allowed to take the information home overnight and to see if he could come up with a design that would give me all that I wanted. He not only designed a room to my requirements, he gave me a better, more appealing design and in the range that I could afford to pay. He also assisted me with other aspects of dealing with other contractors to help me get the best complete and final results. The design approval phase took somewhat longer than I might have liked but the design has to be approved by the state for hurricane compliance. Once the approval from the state was received, the building permits and construction began. I appreciated that the permits were on site and visible before any work began, and once the work began, it proceeded with a speed that was truly impressive. The workers were polite. They played music on a radio while they worked but you had to be in the area to hear it. Inside my home, I heard nothing. The workers were in a pleasant mood and respectful in every way during the construction. They cleaned the work area every night before they departed and I mean cleaned. No debris and the area was swept and no debris, tools, or materials were left strewn about to cause problems.For the time the crew was here, they behaved as friends to me and to my husband. Although the screen room is for my husband to enjoy and I vow to keep it from being cluttered (which is my natural inclination), I would be proud for any one to see this room and would know that in their minds they too would be imagining the possibilities this room offers. Additionally, unlike some projects, I would not be embarrassed to tell them how much the room cost because this room was worth every penny and more. Value for your money and pride of ownership go with the jobs this company completes for you. I still see various people from Mr Build. They are like good friends to us now and I am hiring them to replace the doors on my home. This will complete the remodels and additions to my home for some time but I still call them for recommendations of contractors and service providers for landscaping, etc. It's really good to find a contractor you can trust and respect and hope to call friend because they didn't let you down in any area of the job.
