Description of Work: We had three impact windows installed by Lowe's 2 years ago and had a bad expierence with a window falling out and windows that did not go up and down smoothly. We had Mr. Build install impact windows throughout the house. The owner was the salesman and was always on time when we discussed the project. His installers were professional and left no mess. In addition they did some extra work on our sliding glass doors that Mr. Build did for free. The windows that they installed were very high quality and are a pleasure to open and close. We would highly recommend Mr. Build for window installation.

Description of Work: I have had to put my project on hold for the present, but feel very comfortable and confident proceeding with Mr. Build in the future. Karen is helpful, wonderful to work with, prompt, professional, attention to all detail including a strong focus on keeping impact upon rest of home to a minimum. I loved her ideas, and her presentation - miles above the rest! I feel comfortable in using Mr. Build myself, and recommending them, and especially Karen at Mr. Build to others.

Description of Work: We contracted with Mr. Build three times over four years to replace all of our windows, sliding glass doors and front door with hurricane rated products. Their crews were professional and responsive and follow up for minor issues was prompt and complete. We would use Mr. Build again.

Description of Work: We have used Mr Build now three times, replacing all windows and exterior doors with top of the line weather-proof and impact ones for hurricane protection. In the same home now 45 years, have had numerous additions, replacements, and repairs done and none have been as professional and as well done as Mr Build. Several times over the years I have employed what I would consider cheaper contractors, but then I had to sue every one of them before it was over. I'll stick with Mr Build and Richard Dunn. IOW, d*** happy.

Description of Work: After driving 60 miles one way to meet this guy, Bill, at a rental property we have, within the first 5 minutes of discussion, he said this is not a project they wanted to work on, that I needed a handyman and they were contractors. I stated that is why we are having issues witht he house because "handymen" are who has been working of the house for the last 12 years. I explained over the phone what I needed and they still agreed to meet with me. We are having major issues with the house like dryrotted deck boards (exterior), dryrotted cedar siding of the 2-story home (exterior), lighting issues and shorts inside, plumbing issues, landscape, etc. I told him that we needed him to look at the house as if he were an inspector because we really wanted to sell the house and we didn't want any problems to come up during an inspection. He claimed that his bid would be too high, but I was certainly under the impression he didn't want to be bothered looking any further into the issues we were having with the house. He didn't "look" too movitave to much of anything but eat donuts. Good news though, he did us a favor as it appears we have found a great contractor also on Angeis list and that would be Revels Constuction. I will let you know how that works out in a review for them when the work is finished.

Description of Work: Pros: The company uses it's own employees and does not contract out. Both the concrete company used and the builders from Mr. Build were excellent, very professional and easy to communicate with. I did need to have a survey of my property done and they helped in getting a company that was readily available and was reasonable in cost. Cons: the builders started a week after the concrete was poured and ready, not immediately after as the project manager promised. The manager also thought that I could get an interest-free loan via Wells Fargo for 24 months when it was actually interest-free for only 18 months. I would use the company again as everything else went very well and even the inspector was impressed with the final completed project.

Description of Work: We did not use this company. They did not do what we were looking for, which is design/ change of walls etc. I was impressed with their site and the company. I would look to them if I needed other work done. Thanks
