+ -1 moreDon't let the 5 star reviews fool you. I am new to Bradenton and moved into my mother's home after she passed away. She always used Mobile Air when Roger Craton owned it and she got great service and fair prices. But not anymore. I had a capacitor (see pictures) go bad. Mobile Air charged me $286.00 for a $10.12 direct replacement part. They also charged $165.50 for diagnosis and service call. Other local companies such as Veteran Air charge under $100 for the same service. I gave Mobile Air a chance to respond to my concern and they told me that they provide professional services and they have overhead. However, they hide their overhead through exorbitant price and service pricing. This makes it easier to charge people whose backs are against the wall because their A/C isn't working and it's hot outside. They also told me their prices are comparable to other A/C service firms in the area. That isn't true either. I pointed that out and got a curt reply from the office manager. I got fooled expecting Mobile Air was the same company it was a few years ago. It clearly is not. Don't let the high rating fool you.

Description of Work: First one of his men cleaned out our A/C ductwork and our dryer vent ductwork on 1/27/12. Then their men put in a new Bryant A/C whole house system including adding some new ductwork on 2/9/12. It is now 8/7/12 and our electric bills are close to half of what they used to be. We were very satisfied with the owner's professionalism in explaining everything to us prior to our decision to go with him and we paid anywhere from half to $3000 less than our other estimates. I will definitely recommend this company to everyone that needs a new A/C system.
