+ 0 moreThe new outlet is great. They were very nice and knowledgeable with the installation. However, the ceiling fan/light repair didn’t go as well. I thought he would replace the part that was getting hot. He only removed the damaged bulb and put a new bulb in. It was smelling of burning the next day and I have not used the light since.

+ 0 moreIt a long story but to make it a little shorter they came out 4 times for a problem that was not their fault. Xavier our teck from Mr. Sparkey wanted our job to be perfect. He went as far as anyone could expect and fixed the problem. I am sure they did not make money on our job. I hope this review will let everyone know that we are really happy to have found them and we would recommend Mr. Sparkey for all your electrical needs.

+ -1 moreDo not use this contractor unless you get a quote. Everything appears to be ala carte. I would never recommend them to anybody. They completely took advantage of me and my home. I would have never gone with this company if I would have known that they would make me pay for services.
Description of Work: Installed two ceiling fan, and three boxes in that connected to all three ceiling fans, put in a new switch for GFI outside, and an electrical plug for the master bathroom.

+ -1 moreHired to add an additional electrical outlet to a wall in my home. Response was timely, work was well done. Felt pressured to add additional items/features to existing wiring in the house. Heavy sell job and prices were quite high. Feel like those hired are paid extra for selling extra vs. completing quality service for what is asked. I would go with a different electrician in the future so as to not feel pressured to spend more than I need.

Then he charged 249 for a diagnostic fee that “would likely fix the problem.” Then, he recommended that my panel and breakers and outlets be replaced for 6700. This was shocking. Needless to say, I hired a real electrician who said none of the panel and outlet work is needed. I’m very disappointed in Angie’s list. This firm is out there to make sales. Stay away.
