Description of Work: "BEST experience in a lifetime with caveat. | |I will begin by telling readers in the Sarasota County, Fl area to specifically request service tech Derek Joppich by name when calling this Mister Sparky. | |I can't emphasize this enough but Mister Sparky is darn lucky to have such a knowledgeable professional in their employ. | | Our call to Mister Sparky was due to a 15 year old home generator sometimes failing to start properly during its assigned weekly testing program, in addition it sometimes would shut down early after starting, with other intermittent issues thrown in for good measure. | | Derek Joppich diagnosed and communicated each issue he discovered and the dollar amount it would take to repair our old unit and after review, we made a decision to buy new. Turns out in our instance, a new liquid cooled unit fit out needs. | | Derek masterfully led the knowledgeable team during installation from start to finish. We're extremely happy with the choices we made, as well as the quality of work, and were impressed with the advanced level of skills performed to make it all happen. | | This installation was far, far from easy by any standard due to logistics, including narrow entrances, demanding quality performance expectations, etc. | | Before calling mr Sparky, I read all the reviews researching Mister Sparky and positive mentions of Derek's name came up repeatedly. Now I know the reason why! Ask for him by name and you will most definitely be happy with your decision. Thank You | |ps. I just heard that Derek has started working over at a company called Energy Today. What a huge, huge loss for Mister Sparky and a big get for Energy Today. | | Due to my first hand experience described above, I will be utilizing Derek Joppich and his new employer for any electrical issues I may come across on down the road. Description of Work: I had contracted with Home Depot to have a fan installed that I had purchased there. When the two gentlemen arrived from Mr. Sparky, one of them did all of the work while the other one looked through my house for things that needed fixing. They ended up replacing two hard wired fire alarms at the cost of $298. I was also told that my electrical box needed replacing. That was simply not true. That is how a $99. job turned into $400. Don't use this company!
