The electrician arrived exactly at agreed upon time and answered all of our questions about what was covered under the service warranty. He gave us a written warranty and explained how to obtain coverage if anything ever did go wrong although he was confident it would not. He did all of this before he even began the job. Once he started he was very efficient and upon completion showed us where he had done the work. He cleaned up everything after himself and before he left he once again asked us if we had any questions or concerns. I would definitely use the services of this company again.

Two people showed up for the 2 hours of service so they stayed for one hour. Not a bundle of energy. One quate given for future work was very high.

Dan was actually early & was very proficient. Took the time to explain the process & protection. Fast & friendly service. I will use them again when I need an electrician.

The electrician for Luminous Electric did a fine job of installing the surge protector and fixing the light switch.

Arrived promptly, very pleasant, installation was quick. Thoroughly explained how to reset if needed and the warranty.

While I liked my initial deal through Angie's List, I had a sizable bill by the time the repairman left. I didn't like that he brought a review from Angie's List with him and gave it to me to fill out while he was standing there.

Great job, except the yard light still turns on at odd times. We'll look at that again next time.

It went well. Technician tried to up sell more expensive surge protector claiming more expensive unit is what he uses in his home. I did not buy it and told him to proceed with what I had purchased.

Dan was early and performed the job in a short amount of time. He also answered questions I had on other things.

The electrician (Dan) arrived on time (a bit early, as a matter of fact), was neat, clean, professional, courteous. The process went smoothly.

Ordered the "big deal" thru Angie's List. Called them to ensure they covered this area and a very nice lady confirmed they did and scheduled it for me with a 3 hour window. Got a call the day before and a voicemail that they would call 1 hour before showing up which did not happen. When the tech arrived, I mentioned I was getting concerned whether he was going to show up and he asked me what time they told me??? Tech was neat and professional. int, Cost of this was to be $159 and my research had showed that it was available in this area for $225 so I was initially pretty happy. After a couple of minutes, tech told me I needed a dual breaker installed which was going to be $150 (actually was $159) additional. He tempered this information with the news he was installing a surge protector with a $75000 protection plan instead of $25000 as he did not have any of the $25000 ones with him. As I don't have anywhere close to $25000 worth of electrical items in the house, this was unimportant to me. At this point I should have cancelled the appointment and got another estimate, but I went ahead and purchased the extra service. It took less than 15 minutes for the extra $159 of work to be completed and the surge protector to be installed which certainly caused more questions as to whether or not I was being gouged. Luminous Electric has a good reputation on Angies List however I am really wondering how many other people that purchase this "big deal" ended up with additional, unexpected expenses. Frankly, it could have been easily prevented by asking me to check the panel during the scheduling phone call. It is certainly possible that everything was legitimate, but it definitely has left a bad taste in my mouth.

Arrived on time with short notice (2 hrs). Fixed all problems, took a lot of testing to find and fix problems. Included chandeliers, fans, outside fixture lights.

On time. Professional. Explained work done and made good suggestions for other work to improve electrical system. Provided estimate for these.
