they arrived on time and did an excellent job. they checked the fuses and worked their way back until they found the problem, it took some time since there were several mistakes they found that that needed repair. would quickly choose them if any other issues ever show up.

The two technicians showed-up on time and were professional. After a thirty second explanation as to my needs, they wrote me an estimate. To my surprise, the total was for $1,093. Needless to say, I chose not to have the work done. After their leaving, I spent some time to consider what a great “business model” this was: Advertise $200 of electrical work for $99, provide an exorbitant estimate and charge the $200 for the estimate.

The guy who came out did a good job and was very informative, but I was surprised that I was not able to know any prices in advance.

Fine. The technician completed the work quickly and competently.

I used them before and they did great work, I bought a new deal for $99 and when they arrived they charged me an extra $446 to put in 3 ceilings fans. I could have gotten that done somewhere else for $150. I will never use them again, nor will i reccomend them.

Jerry was wonderful, clear in communicating the solutions. May charge a little more than handyman services, but am very confident the job is done right and up to code. And, that's important to me.

When great, responded to initial phone call quickly, booked appointment only a few days out, showed up on time and completed the work within the tim alotted. What more could you ask for?

Sent two technicians, technicians were on time and professional. Replaced two ceiling fans. There was an additional cost for parts and the mark-up is approximately 25-30% so be prepared and purchase brackets, remote controls or any parts that may be needed.

Service was great. They showed up when they said they would. Michael and Nick were great. You could tell they were knowledgeable and knew what they were doing. They had the chandelier up in no time. They were very neat and cleaned up after themselves. I will definitely use them again.

Michael was thorough, courteous and accommodating. Always informing me of the fee for svcs as was requested.

I was satisfied with their service. They were fairly responsive. They did come on time. They're professional, I had no problems with them.

Nothing was resolved, however, after speaking with Travis, he issued me a complete refund due to the fact that no work was done. He spoke with the electrician and worked with me and listened to get all the facts. This to me was extremely ethical. My first review was after being charged $150.00 without work being done. It was not pretty, but Travis did the right thing and that says a lot about a business.

Technican was excellent. He diagnosed my issue with the lights and installed the surge protection. Very informative and respectful.

Let me state first that I don't like these "buy a certain dollar amount for another discounted dollar amount" because you have no idea what the people are going to charge you for the job. If the price is too high you are stuck because you have already paid them. We were happy with the original work done on 4/14/2016. However after Luminous left we immediately began to have trouble in out 2 "bedrooms" which are not really bedrooms. One is a TV room and the other is an office. The computers & TV would just all of a sudden cut out along with the lights. We called Luminous back and they said they didn't touch anything near those circuits. Not entirely true. They were all over the board and then they came back they found that it was loose.. They told us that our "Arc" breakers were no good and that they were very expensive to replace. They charged another $316 to replace the 2 breakers that absolutely, positively worked before they got there. I later found these at Home Depot for $54.00 each. So I am left feeling that once again as a Sr. Citizen and Female I have been dogged. I am trying to find someone to work with long term on some other houses that we own. Probably won't be this company.

This was the 2nd time I have used Luminous Electric. I originally used them 1 year ago because of the great reviews on this site. This time I called them out due to the circuit breaker tripping in the living room every so often. It usually happened when kids were playing the xbox but it did not happen constantly. Luminous Electric came out and spent a lot of time trouble shooting the problem. Changed out a breaker and hoped it solved the problem. Later that night the breaker tripped again. Same electrician came back with a 2nd electrician and they both spent a lot of time trouble shooting the problem. Based on their troubleshooting and recommendations we were able to determine that the xbox was causing the breaker to trip due to a bad power supply. This was not an easy service call but the electrician was professional and thorough. Luminous Electricians are always professional and very personable which is a plus when hiring a company. I will use Luminous Electric for any future electrical needs and I recommend them to our friends who are in need of a electrician.

Andrew assessed the panel and then explained the severity and the cost. We rescheduled for him to return the next day.

We noticed problems with some of the lighting and found Luminous Electric had good ratings. Once they came out and assessed, we were told the panel was burned in 3 places and needed to be replaced. The news was upsetting, but the guy remained calm and helped us to understand the severity of the issue. We scheduled for him to return and take care of the problem. He replaced the panel, grounded and labeled the box.

I saw so many positive comments about Luminous Electric I chose them for the work I needed. I'm glad I did. The technician was very polite, professional and knowledgable. He was on time and very efficient at his work. He also took the time to answer a number of questions for me. Overall, I was very impressed and would certainly use them again.

I was able to get an appointment without any problem. On the day of the appointment I was notified the electrician was on his way, he arrived on time. I showed him what needed to be done, he did the work in about 40 minutes (maybe less). I did not check the work while he was in the house because I had to other contractors over and was distracted. A few hours later I did check the work, it works fine. My only lesson learned is check the work, the outlet is slightly crooked. I did not call the company to complain because as I mentioned the TV will cover it. Overall I am pleased with my experience.

Arrived on time, fixed the problem and cleaned up. Efficient and quick. Great job.
