LPAC Services- Larry Pearson A/C

Description of Work: We had purchased a home with a very bad air conditioning system. There was mold and dirt throughout the system. LPAC not only replaced the system and cleaned and sanitized the ducts but they also relocated the air handler from a closet in the kitchen to the garage and also relocated the cold air return to a better location. |The workers were very good and Larry Pearson made sure everything was done as we wanted. We were very impressed with the service and would recommend LPAC.

Description of Work: We had our AC unit go out. They came quickly to perform a inspection on the issue. They were back the next day to correct the problem. Very good service, prompt, professional.

Description of Work: Great. Upstairs AC unit was not cooling. They came next day. Provided an estimate to fix and a quote to replace on Thursday and by Friday they were putting in the new 13 seer Amr Standard system. I choose to replace versus repair. Cost was somewhat reasonable/comparable to other quotes I received. I used them previously for a downstairs unit 2 years ago. They also offered financing which was a large factor in my decision.

Description of Work: Cleaned and disinfect unit, maintenance inspection, checked filter, and educated me about the dehumidifier settings. Rick did an excellent job in educating me concerning the air-conditioner unit, dehumidifier and filter. He was efficient, personable, and extremely knowledgeable. I had asked LPAC Air Conditioning to come back every year and I highly recommend them.

Description of Work: They provided general maintenance on my air conditioner. The guy was knowledgable, but did try to up sell me on several other services, including a whole house serge protector. As he was talking, I googled this service and felt their price was way out of line. He did sell me on adding freon...not sure this was necessary. Will continue to use them for the duration of the agreement.

Description of Work: Service provider did very well servicing my HVAC system. Before using this provider, I did some research on reviews. Most reviews were positive, but one reviewer said the service provider gave them a hard sell on buying a whole new HVAC system. I agree with all of those reviews. The service provider did a commendable job providing the service, but spent every opportunity trying to sell a new system or parts. I don't blame them for doing it because my system is over 10 years old, but it is running fine and I have had HVAC systems in prior homes that were much older and were still running fine when I left. My current system is still running fine and I have no plans to replace it any time soon. If the service provider says differently in response to this review, as they did with the other reviewer, they are simply wrong.

Description of Work: A representative from LA came over to talk about what problems we were having (master bedroom always hot and needing a whole house allergy filter). He was on time and quickly had ideas that fell within what we figured would work for us financially and within dates. He said he would write it up and get back with us in aday or two after he talked with a sub-contractor (due to cost estimate needed), but we never heard back from him.

Description of Work: They did the first of a 4 service pack that I bought from Angies List for $160. Did a good job of checking everything out. Very happy with them.

Description of Work: Angies list special to inspect HVAC System and add 1lb of refrigerate if needed. Very professional visit. Discovered main duct had separated in attic and was pumping cole air throughout attic. Tested compressors and air handlers, spent at least an hour going through both HVAC systems and then gave a through debrief of his findings.
