My husband and I were very impressed with the entire organization. The people we dealt with were honest, intelligent and forthright. We knew we were facing a possible replacement and as it turned out, the system was a previously owned product and improperly installed. LPAC installed and set up our new system in a matter of days and we are very appreciative. We would highly recommend LPAC.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it went well. They provided a good service and were very good. The technician was very informative as he was doing the air conditioning checkup. He told me things that were likely to fail in the coming years and things that were doing good.

Since I live 3,000 miles away from the house in Florida it is always difficult to find trustworthy service providers. The people at Larry Pearson AC were great communicators and gave me the peace of mind I needed. Stephanie is truly a rock star and she made me feel like I already have a friend in Bradenton! Thank you to all at Larry Pearson's for your hard work and reliable service.
Description of Work: They came to service my air conditioner and found it to be in very bad shape and replaced it with a new one. Had they not discovered what bad shape the old one was in I would have had major damage to my home. They were very efficient and timely.

Guy was on time--and ready to work! He spent over an hour looking over the system, both inside and outside. He cleaned the filter for me and also cleaned the gunk outside. He had many recommendations on how I could keep my system cleaner--and I appreciated all of his tips and will follow them! Guy is very knowledgeable and was very professional......I was VERY pleased with the service. I will be using LPAC as my "go to" people in the future. Thank you, GUY!!!!

Very well. Showed me the areas that needed work, including two capacitors taped together where there should have been one hybrid with two potentials. This was likely not an exotic part since he had one on the truck with him! Also showed me some things to do to keep the system working well until replacement time. Most likely that will be with LPAC.
Description of Work: thorough check of system, replaced two mis-matched capacitors, added refrigerant, cleaned all coils and removed 'crud' from outside wiring. Also provided quotes and useful suggestions for future replacement of unit that's 'mature' at best. A service contract in this case made good sense, as well, since it offset some of the costs of the maintenance work done. Very good experience

I was very impressed and very satisfied by the service that was provided. As a former general contractor, I have seen the best and the worse from service providers. Based on this experience I would rate LPAC among the best.
Description of Work: I called LPAC based on favorable reviews I found on Angies List. My central air conditioning unit had stopped working. I left my contact information with the receptionist and received a call from the service scheduler a short time later. They scheduled a service for later the same day between 12 and 2 PM. The service technician arroved promtly at 12 noon in the midfle of a thunderstorm. He was very knowledgeable and professional. He was able to quickly diagnose the problem and repair the system. He was also able to provide me with information about my current system that I was unaware of regarding its age, the type of coolant it used, and the fact that was connected to a heat recovery system. While he was here, I had him quote me a price for replacing the existing system with a new system. He showed me my various options and their benefits and costs.

Dear Member, When our technicians make a recommendation it is just that, a recommendation. In your case, however, our technician found an issue with your evaporator coil that is clearly documented on your maintenance sheet. He did not just recommend replacement, but also gave you repair options as well. He felt if he attempted to clean a damaged evaporator coil that the problem would become worse. The company that gave you the 2nd opinion even stated that though they cleaned it, they felt that it did not need replacement YET; that indicates that it will eventually need to be replaced. Our technician was looking out for your best interests, as we do for all of our customers. His goal was simple, to keep your unit not just running, but running as efficiently as possible! The work started with a visit to tune up our aging HVAC system but investigation showed significant corrosion damage to both the evaporator and condenser coils, significant leakage from attic ducting and mold growth on the evaporator coils as well as inside of the duct work. The technician (Pat) was very professional and knowledgeable in his inspection and worked with us to figure out what would need to be done to replace the old system with a relocation of the air handler/evaporator unit from the attic over my garage to inside the garage in order to provide better for access and maintenance. We agreed on a price and they came the next morning to start the installation. The install team of Rich and Steven were exceptional in their speed, professionalism and workmanship. The skill with which they solved the complex install problem and the exceptional quality of their work exceeded all expectations. Rich and Steven are a credit to LPAC. When the old duct work was removed, we were able to inspect the interior of the ducts and were amazed at how much mold was present. If we were initially a little hesitant about replacing all of the duct-work, all doubt went away once we saw how much dirt and mold was in the ducts. On the 2nd (and final) day of the install, the owner, Larry Pearson himself, came out to help with the install of the air-handler/evaporator, demonstrating that he and his company care about pleasing their customers and that they will work hard to make sure every job is done right and completed on time. I cannot recommend LPAC enough. If you hire them you will not be disappointed.

AS SOON AS I TOLD HIM THE PROBLEM HE WENT STRAIGHT UP TO THE AIR HANDLE UNIT AND RESET THE FAULT .HE TOLD ME THE HUMIDITY HAD CAUSED THE PROBLEM. COOL AIR WAS FLOWING WITHIN MINUETS. 'THERE WERE NO ADDITIONAL CHARGES AND HE'S COMING BACK ON THE SM COUPO FOR A MAINTENANCE SERVICING ON THE UNIT.

We had a contract on our house. Well, the morning of our home inspection, our upstairs air conditioning system was not working. Then with all the rain, water was coming in at the chimney facets and damaging the dining room ceiling. Oh, no... so afraid to lose our buyers.... I called LPAC. He sent Rick over (one of his many long time employed technicians). Rick gave me an estimate of repairs and showed me the physical damage to the unit. After taking the time to review our home inspection report... Larry Pearson arranged to have the entire as unit replaced as well as the drywall, mold remediation, and roof repair all in 2 days. He sent a full proposal to my realtor, this reassured my buyers. After all the work was performed, Larry put together a full binded report complete with pictures, also including copies of his mold remediation license and credentials. My buyers and their realtor were very impressed! I feel that this was all done for a very fair price, in an extremely timely manner!!! I cannot fail to mention how clean the drywall contractor (Lane) and his assistant worked. Also Lonny, the AC tech. LPAC has our business for life and I would recommend them to everyone! Larry is a great guy in business and I understand he gives a lot back to his community in coaching sports for years... Tricia Ryder

They did a good detailed job. I was pleased. They provided a quote for replacement that was very high. I ended up going with a competitor for $3,000 less for the same equipment. So, I would recommend them. I am sure I could have negotiated and reduced the price. Haggling is expected on this type of purchase. The reason I said I would not use them again is due to a 10 year labor and parts warranty included with my new HVAC. If it was not for that, I would absolutely use them again.
Description of Work: I bought the special HVAC cleaning and maintenance. I bought my house 18 months ago, and I knew things were not working optimally. They came out, and did an excellent job, explained all the problems with my HVAC, and recommended that I replace the unit ASAP. They also installed a new capacitor for my heatpump, as the current one was under spec, and I need time to decide on the replacement of the heatpump and air handler. The cost of the capacitor was an additional $189.

The service went very well. I would like to change the company that services my A/C unit, my husband had passed away recently and I really am not quite happy with the service provider and it is expensive. I am happy that Angies List gives me the oppurnity to find reliable people to service the home.

They arrived on time, cleaned up and never even bothered us. We had given up hope of getting our garage air conditioned because of the cost and the time factor and finding people to do the rest of the work. This wonderful experience was the very best service we have had in many years. It began with the call to the office which made me think that these people were interested in my service. Next, the person who came to talk to me about the job was prompt and knew his company and service.. I learned more from him than any other AC providers. He took his time and did a through check of our area and returned the next day to give us a quote. We had almost given up hope because of the cost, the time involved and searching for people to do the insulation and the electrical hook up. Well, they did it all and in one wonderful day and so much less money that we were ecstatic. They arrived on time, cleaned up after, and never bothered us. This company has renewed our faith in American service and American people. What a fantastic business! I wish they did more. I would deal with them again and again. .
Description of Work: They installed an air conditioner in my garage as well as insulated my attic and garage door. They also installed a new electrical line from our box to the garage.
