+ -1 moreI have two oriental rugs that were my Mother's. One was a 5x8 and the other 8x12. They had been in storage for a number of years and were quite dirty. While they were not antiques, they still held a great deal of sentimental value and I wanted them cleaned properly. I obtained many estimates. Most other estimates were over $500. When I went online to look for customer reviews some of the more expensive carpet cleaning companies did not have good reviews but Greenway did. When I joined Angie's list I actually received a $40 off coupon from Greenway. So my total cost to clean both rugs was about half of what the competition charges. Greenway picked up and delivered and did an excellent job!

+ -1 moreWe installed thick Stainmaster carpeting about a year and a half ago and wanted to get it cleaned to keep the warranty intact and to just get clean carpet. We have a small child, 2 dogs, 2 cats and a lot of traffic, so our carpets take a beating. The initial consultation was set up very quickly and professionally. Mr. Eschenbach came out, measured and gave us a reasonable estimate. He did not try to upsell anything or start ridiculously low and then add all kinds of things on. He was very knowledgeable and informative about carpet. We went ahead and set an appointment to clean and within a few days our carpet looks new. The service took about an hour - very clean, courteous and professional. I hesitated to clean the carpets because of bad experiences with carpet cleaning companies in the past. However, Greenway put that hesitation to rest. I would highly recommend them and we will use them annually for our carpets. The steaming left an incredible result with no harsh chemicals - totally safe for the kids and the dogs.
Description of Work: We needed a good carpet steam cleaning for our 18 month old carpet. We received an estimate, information about the process and ultimately a carpet steam cleaning. We have 3 rooms of carpeting that take a pretty good beating with animals and kids. We did not have any major staining or need for spot cleaning. Just normal wear and tear. The cost above includes the carpet cleaning and an applied protectorant.

He explained exactly what he would be doing, told me about the company and the products they used. It was obvious that he had both knowledge and experience. He took the time both before and after the cleaning to answer all of my questions thoroughly. I'm extremely pleased with the way that the rugs look, Greenway did a much better job overall than the companies I have used before!

+ -1 moreGreenway's representative Mark arrived at 0930, very punctual. Mark was quite professional. He first surveyed the areas, measuring more accurately than my estimate, arriving at a total 25 sq ft less than my estimate. Next he explained the entire process and began work. Mark worked continuously and completed the job in two hours. I expected the drying process to be complete in a matter of hours. I lowered the air conditioning temperature to 72 degrees and ensured that all of our ceiling fans were operational. We departed at 1300 to shop and eat in Tampa and arrived home after 1800. The carpet still contained some residual moisture. It was dry the next morning and looks great a week later. Be prepared to be gentle with your carpeted floors for eighteen to twenty four hours. I would definitely recommend this company for any home owner and will keep them on my "to use" list in the future.
Description of Work: Approximately 1000 sq ft of 15 year old carpet was cleaned by an upright rotating cleaning device and 100 sq ft of kitchen tile/grout. This method with continuous extraction appears to be a very thorough method of cleaning.

Called the night before to remind me of appointment and Dave, the owner, showed up within the time window that they had set. He was in a neat and apparently clean "green" uniform and cap. He was pleasant. Came in the house to measure the areas to be cleaned wrote up the estimate right there and when I agreed to the price, he started to clean. He backed his van up to my garage, unloaded his equipment, protected the corners of my walls with plastic guards and began bring his equipment into the house. Set up and went to work. I had already moved the furniture from both of the rooms to be cleaned, so he didn't have to do any of that. The whole job took about two hours and the badly soiled carpets look new! I had them cleaned two years ago and they didn't look nearly this good then.

+ -1 moreI phoned for an estimate on cleaning traffic areas in my 2 br condo. The receptionist was informative and friendly and a convenient time and date was established. Mark arrived within the 30 minute time frame and was courteous and professional. His estimate was a little high for the area of carpet I needed cleaned, but he was the one who suggested I see if there was a discount for an Angie's List customer. The discount came to $40 and that made a big difference in the final cost. Work was performed efficiently and the total time he was there was about an hour and 15 minutes. He worked steadily and the rug dried within the estimated time frame of 3 to 4 hours he gave me. I would definitely use this company again

+ 0 moreThe carpets were not cleaned in our home; they were collected from our home by Greenway and were cleaned at their facility, then returned to our home. the entire overall experience was stellar- from the time we made the initial call, getting the phone estimate, the arrangement of the pick up and estimate of delivery back to our home. Please see above for more details.
Description of Work: We had 3 carpets cleaned in sizes 9 x 12; 14 x 10 and 5 x 16. The 14 x 10 carpet is a wool Karastan and the other 2 carpets are Turkish? in origin and are about 62 plus years old. We recently acquired the carpets from a family member and have no way of knowing when they may have been cleaned previously- but safe to say, it was probably decades ago. We ended up paying a little more than the phone estimate, only because we did not specify that the Karastan is a wool carpet. It was a slight difference from the estimate to what we actually paid. We were very pleased with the prompt response and are happy with the look and feel of the carpets. When the carpets were returned to us, the gentleman helped move furniture to put the carpets back in place. I didn't expect this. My husband and I moved the furniture and rolled up the carpets for pick up; I don't know if we were expected to do this or not, but was pleasantly surprised when the carpets were returned to us and my husband had help putting the carpets back in place. I feel as though this a very professional company and am happy with the whole experience. I think I may have been swayed to select Greenway by seeing the video which explains the process. These are old family carpets that will last many more years and we want to do what we can to extend their wearability. I feel as though we can trust Greenway to ensure the carpets will remain in our family for years to come and would not hesitate to use their services again and to recommend them to others.

He examined the areas to be cleaned and satisfactorily answered all my questions. I was interested in grout sealing and learned the process included a thorough cleaning of all the tile beforehand. I had not realized that. I was also uncertain about sealing the grout in my partially exposed entryway, but he recommended we do it and it turned out to be the right decision. I was hesitant to add carpet protection, but I did and now am pleased I decided to add the service. I also received a follow-up call afterwards to check on the experience. This company understands and provides excellent service. They will be the only carpet/tile care company I use.

+ -1 moreThe cleaner came at the agreed time, wore shoeguards and actually listened to instructions and cautions. Very helpful chap,no BS promises -- the results exceeded my expectations Two days later when the carpet had dried, his colleague came back to reset the rugs and the furniture.
Description of Work: Cleaning broadloom carpet in open-space living/dining room and one bedroom.The beige wool carpet was not excessively worn but had embedded dirt in high traffic areas and some staining. Very thorough professional cleaning; moving furniture professionally done. Agent came back two days later to reset heavy furniture and re-lay area rugs. Given the age of the carpet (c, 15 years) -- the outcome was very pleasing and much better than I had expected.

They lady who answered was very courteous and solicitous on the phone and promised to check with the owner of the company to see if the job could be done soon since we were leaving town in a few days. Within a few hours, I received a call from Dave, who said he could do the job that very afternoon. Dave arrived as promised, and in about 30 minutes the job was done--effortlessly and painlessly. The carpet looks great, and we couldn't be happier with the result. Great customer service. We will definitely ask Greenway to come back when the carpets again need a professional cleaning.

We are in the process of moving into a house in Bradenton, and needed the carpets cleaned, but most important was to have the grout cleaned. The house has carpet in the l.r., d.r., den, and bedrooms, and white tile and white grout everywhere else. The house is in great shape, but the grout was dingy and stood out like a sore thumb compared to the shape of the rest of the house. I didn't realize that grout isn't always permanently sealed like in the house we've lived in for 20 years, and was thrilled that it could be cleaned and sealed. The floor looks SO much better. Mark is a young man, but extremely professional and hard working. He is a great asset to the company.

+ -1 moreWe took possession of a house with four rooms with carpets that were very dirty and stained. One of the rooms had apparently been used by a dog that had not been well trained. There was a total of 750 sq. ft. to clean and the technician worked very hard to clean the carpets, particularly the one that had the worst stains left by the dog. The results were very impressive and, although some stains from the "dog-room" remained, it was clear that the technician had done everything possible.
Description of Work: Deep cleaning and stain removal of four rooms totaling 750 sq. ft. of very dirty carpeting. The technician kindly helped move furniture out of one of the rooms.

+ -1 moreThe person who answered the phone when I initially called about having the rug cleaned was extremely friendly and accommodating. Because we were having other work done in the house, we weren't sure we could take delivery of the rug when it was ready. They were quite willing to store it until we could take delivery. When they brought the rug today, they were very careful about placing it and making sure everything was just as I wanted it. The rug looked terrific--ALL the spots were gone! I would definitely use them again, andI will recommend them to others.

Description of Work: I had ALL of the carpet cleaned in my house and also the tile cleaned and sealed. I have had my carpets (off white) cleaned many times by many business in the 13 years we have owned this home. Greenway Carpet did the best job of ANY! There is a traffic area from the kitchen to the bedroom that others have said that they can only get out just so much of the dirt. Well, Greenway got it ALL out! The tile looks brand new. The young man showed up right on time and was very good used slippers over his shoes while he was doing the work. The owner was here also and assisted on the latter part of the work being performed. I had moved a lot of furniture the night before, but they assisted in bringing back in the future after they were done. The carpet dried in about 4-6 hours. Other times when I've had them cleaned, it has taken up to 2 days! Very, very pleased with their service and will definitely use them again! I would highly recommend them!

I was given a date that greenway would be out to give an estimate, and I gave them my parents phone # for them to communicate a time. They never called my parents, so after waiting all day at home, my parents called them. They changed the date to the next day, and AGAIN NO SHOWED. We were not about to give them a third chance, so we went with another curtious and prompt company.

From a pre-arrival phone call, a timely arrival, thorough inspection of the work to be done and attention to detail...everything went very well. The cleaning results exceeded my expectations. I can't rate this company highly enough and will certainly bring future business to Greenway, as well as highly recommend the company to friends and neighbors.

Description of Work: He took a special rug from my home (8 1/2 X 11) and brought it to his cleaning place. He was very kind when he did it, moving furniture out of the way so he could pick it up and roll it up. And he put it back. The owner, David Eschenblach was very polite and personable. He explained what he would do to it, vacuuming it well, color test it for color seapage, etc. and then soak in their cleaning solution. He said he would have it ready in a week. And it was. He was a pleasure when he returned it to our new home with many boxes and moved furniture again and put it back. I would totally recomend him.

Description of Work: Had carpets cleaned in 3 bedrooms and upstairs bonus room. Also had microsuede sectional sofa cleaned. The company did a great job and did a little extra for free. Very conscientious, professional, and personable. I would highly recommend them.
